I'm pretty sure it was Ross the Boss, as Mike was super frustrated when he landed his best spell on a dragon who was merely an illusion.
It was Tor. Tor drank a healing potion (singular, powerful one) after suffering illusory damage.
that was an awesome fight, but I also don't recollect the specific ending...

Odric the Stout |

Odric... Sandor wants to start the Forge addition to your complex. How do I do the numbers to start making that happen in these 3 days?
Give Odric 370gp, I'll add it to the Stout Manor floorpan. It will be done in a few days. When it is done, you'll start earning capital - I'll add it to my spreadsheet and keep it separate so it will be easier for you.

Ferox Kerr |

Added the XP reward for Sabine to the XP Tracker. We're 14th level now.

Ferox Kerr |

Oh, Chris. I just had the thought. You usually state the XP is for each of us. Was the 22,400 xp for the party?

Grym level up hit points 1d10 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 1 = 14
Grym finally gets Level 4 spells. Looks like either Freedom of Movement (which when needed would be crazy handy), or Animal Growth (basically makes a giant Bucho +4 hit/damage)
Bucho level up hit points 1d8 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 2 = 10

if I may opine...more damage output is good, but we put out a LOT of damage already. The possible Save Your Assitude of FoM is incredible. (for example, you can't be grappled) I'd say take that.

This is why I asked.
For now I will have that one.

So he couldn't be swallowed by a wood stove for example?

I'll look about for more stuff on spending Odric.
Grym, I HEARTILY agree on Freedom of Movement.

Just a heads up everyone, I'll be at Carnage on the Mountain this weekend from Friday afternoon until late Sunday. I'll do what I can to post, but I'm likely not going to be able to as I'm running games most slots. Feel free to bot me (unless I'm the GM.)
This applies to Morkeleb too I would think.

Dungeon Master S |

Hey Phil, do you mind updating Grym's picture? I've coppied it for Bucho, but it'd make my life easier for this module if your pog on the map matches your forum posts.
If not, I'll need to search for a new one since I think I accidentally deleted the one you've been using.

Im not great figuring that stuff out. I may have to call you later.

//O.J//
You're on a hair trigger response for Brightstonification S. It takes a minute with PBP, but there are literally like 30 seconds of planning in game terms on the board for this thing.
I mean, I'm OK with the plan, but often I feel like we are waiting for some feedback, more info, other players... idk. I guess the O.J. can be unshaken.

Dungeon Master S |

Well, that's partly because most of the party is also on the Slack channel where there is a lot more chatter.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
I am starting a PbP campaign after Thanksgiving. It is going to be the Paizo Adventure Path Giantslayer. This campaign has no impact on Curse of the Crimson Throne, and will have none on Skull & Shackles after this.
The campaign starts after Thanksgiving, but the players have been posting in character for a little while. I have room for UP TO TWO. I'm giving you guys first dibs. Some of you know some of the players in that game. So far it's Andrew Trexler, Thunderspirit, Jeff and Matt W. (from team Canada.)
If you are interested. Drop me a text, email, or Slack post.

I see no reason to think a wizard's duration-based spells would end when he dies. Concentration, sure...

Obviously, the spell stays in effect.
And you arent dead yet Mork.

Sandor Stouthammer |

I was normally under the assumption that mind control spells like a Vampires dominate (no I didn't look up pathfinder dominate) ended after the casters/ creatures death. I mean it's often portrayed in movies like that.
But after a bit of research (I found the same link RPG stack link Mork did without copying his link), and a few other "opinion" threads, I think I have changed my mind.
I'm not sure what the secondary and tertiary order of effects will be good or bad for the PC's in this or future games, but I'm willing to try a new way of thinking.

Sandor Stouthammer |

Yes on both points. :-)
If an arsonist sets a fire and is then killed, the fire burns until its duration is spent.
My example would be a real world one. My aunt went to a hypnotist to get help to quit smoking. She said it worked amazing for her. Now if that hypnotist dies does she start smoking again?
Now my personal opinion is that hypnotherapy is boarder line crazy talk. I tried to let people hypnotize me and it has never worked.
