Sticking only with Paizo sources for this. Though the regular rules include inventing your own items...

Would be a nice ranged weapon for Odric and Grym

Wayfinders aren't readily for sale. it'd be like buying a passport at target. the rest works

    Where can I get one?

Oh, a wayfinder...you need to be a member of the Society (probably)

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

He's right the secret of the Wayfinder is held by the society and they only give them to agents.

    King of Korvosa

How do I find and kill one? Preferably an evil one up to no good.
Or is it possible to report on the Scarwall episode to society and join?

In theory hells yes. However, because I have a staff as s bonded object, I need a free hand to cast spells. :-(. Next wizard will use a ring or sonething

    King of Korvosa

Just thinking out loud here, but a flying Odric could be super helpful in a pinch, anyone have any input on how to best accomplish this?

16,000? You're rolling in money now!!

Yes, I could, at the low low price of 8,000 gp and 16 days. (that's ALWAYS the real bottleneck in crafting items: time)

You could pay for me to scribe a few scrolls for you. (187.5 gp per)

Just remember, crafting can be done while traveling, and the crafting doesn't need to be consecutive days. Also, it assumes 8hrs of crafting a day, so 16 hrs are still free for sleep and whatever else.

Morkelb, not being greedy or anything, but any amount of enlarge scrolls will be good, 10 of them should do the trick.

Here is why I need them. One of Sandor's strengths is his free bull rush attacks, and if the creature is to large, well the bull rush doesn't work, and well if I can get the other melee to get in there first any movement I cause allows free AoO's. Now imagine the damage if Odric and Team Bucho get an extra attack each round, not to mention the bonus to hit if the baddie ends up prone.

Luckily, Odric kept the receipt and the ioun stone was still in the original packaging. The stupid plastic clamshell it came in was impossible to open by mundane means anyway. Odric had no trouble returning it.

    Oh u greedy greedy bastard

Unless I'm misremembering the rules, I believe I could do that scribing in a single day...

Sandor Level up info + apologies:
I rolled HP when we hit lvl 12, its on a previous page.

    HP8+3=11 131 total

    Feat: Double Slice

Skills: +1 to Craft Armor, Weapons, Know Engineering, Perception, Survival

Now for the apology. I messed up my previous attack spoiler. I had an extra shield bash attack, and my attk bonus was to high. For those I apologize. I think I have them correct now, please feel free to point out if I don't. (I just purchased Hero Labs, and it pointed out my mistakes from the last character builder I was using. HL is still missing things like Deathless, and Mind Buttressing, but I can work around it.)

Vigil purchases. I can exhaust all my resources save a few coin, and purchase the Mind buttressing enchant on my armor, afford a few enlarge potions, and give Morkelb enough gold for 4 scrolls.

If the DM is very nice, I can offer my services to Berdred for however long the other stuff is going to take. I want to develop good relations with her for when I'm finally back in my forge in Korvosa (or Scarwall if we keep it our of Orc hands.)

I wanted to make my Dwarven holy, but the 4k gold coinage wasn't there.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

No worries Sandor, it's easy to make that kind of mistake.

    King of Korvosa

Belive it or not, my attack roll was too low on my spoiler. I guess I forgot to bump it up when we hit 11. So it averages out :-)

    DM, Gaius, Ferox, Morkelb:
    I have a crafting maths question. +3 glamored = a +5 bonus. Shadowed is a +2 bonus for a total of a +7 bonus. Isn't that a 49k-25k for a 24k cost?

So if I took my +1 Bashing(+1) shield, and made it a +2 Bashing(+1) shield it would cost 9000- 4000= 5000. Is that right? If so I would want to do that.

Also can I get my axe made Holy, either here on in the city Odric wants to go to?

I was hoping that you were correct, then I would be able to get the mind buttressing on my armor. :D

BTW I'm not sure if this is by design, but I can't see your character listed here, nor on our very not used obsidian portal domain. Let me modify that, your character hasn't been updated since lvl 6.

I like to look at people's builds, and wonder why they chose what they did. Not just feats and skill, but stuff like spell selection (since casters are not my specialty)

No worries on that. I used to always leave my alignment, and diety blank on my character sheets. Unless I was playing something that was obvious like a paladin.

Random gaming story read if your bored:
Found it to be very useful when after my 2ed wizard finally received his "artifact" item (the last in the party to do so) killed the rest of the PC's while making the escape from the crumbling cave (actually it was a huge earth elemental under my control) after we killed the BBEG. I still had most of my spell compliment left (I was always very stingy with spells), full HP's. I found a hallway out, cast prismatic wall, and I forget the name of the illusion, but it was 7th levelI think, to make it just look like the hallway and anyone that walked into it looked like they were still walking. Only the Paladin made enough saves to make it through, but between the wall, and the previous fight he only had a few HP's left... Magic missile took those away quickly. I picked up all the artifacts and magic items used my newfound ring with 1 wish left on it to make sure that they could never be resurrected. I then shared a journal I had in which I kept track of every small misfortune that happened to their characters that I was responsible for since level 1.

Thanks for letting me relive that memory.

So, just to be clear. Sandor is able to get the following things.

    4 Potions of enlarge
Gives Morkelb 75gp for 5 enlarge scrolls
Magic's his shield for another +1
    Magic's his Axe to Holy

    is this ok?

Hey everyone, just a heads up, I'll be completely offline from Thursday night until Sunday night. I'm running 3 legs in a relay race that spans more than 200 miles. We run non-stop, so I won't be in any condition to post or check the boards until after sleeping in on Sunday.

I've updated a ton of stuff in my profile.

As an added bonus, one of you will have an easier time autopiloting Gaius if it comes to it. Everything is there.

YES! Finally Odric has achieved the prerequisite for the Relentless Butcher feat!

Any confirmed Crit, opponent makes a DC 17 Fortitude Save or be Stunned for 1 Round.

Note that by confirming a crit, they are automatically Sickened for 1 minute (no save) per Sickening Critical.

And icing on top: Cornugon Smash means any power attack that hits is an Intimidate check as a free action or they are Shaken.

    Summary:
Automatically Sickened = The character takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

DC 17 Fort save or be Stunned = A stunned creature drops everything held, can't take actions, takes a –2 penalty to AC, and loses its Dexterity bonus to AC (if any). Attackers receive a +4 bonus on attack rolls to perform combat maneuvers against a stunned opponent.

And an Intimidate check to demoralize the opponent at DC 10+Target's Hit Dice+target's WIS modifier, or they are Shaken for 1 round (+1 round/ every 5 I beat the DC by) = A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

    Best Case Scenario:
    BBEG
    Drops all held items
    Can't move and takes:
    -4 on attack rolls
    -4 on saves
    -4 to skill checks
    -4 to ability ability checks
-2 AC and lose DEX bonus to AC
    -2 to damage rolls
    Pees his pants

And we all get a +4 to our attack rolls or combat maneuvers.

    Happy Birthday Odric!!!!

This fight was awesome, and Odric's speech at the end very well crafted. Lets get Ferox and Gaius back, and we will be ready to rock and roll some more.

While we do that, Morkelb, do we have the time to travel back to Vigil and let me get my armor enchantment? Mind buttressing would totally be worth it. Odric could use it too, sure would hate him swinging at me.
