Assuming we're resting & levelling, one of my 8th level spells I'll pick up is this:
...which I'll cast as a pre-battle buff for everyone. Note that it's a resistance bonus, which does NOT stack with cloak of resistance. But it'll still help, even if you have a +5 cloak! :-)

Morkeleb the Mighty |

moving this to the discussion thread...
dude, "THAT GM" would have asked after I'd chosen & prepped the spell.
and the answer is No, no he does not. Unless the 8,000 gp of gems we have is mostly in a few diamonds. Which it is not. or if we can use the 11,000 gp worth of diamond dust in its stead...which we cannot.
new plan. too bad, would have been a great spell (net +7 to spell saves for me!)

Ferox Kerr |

That would have been badass. As part of the resting, can Morkeleb get the necessary material components? Teleport away and back?

Thorgrym the Tracker |

Between our Lantern of Revealing and that one nifty spell Ferox has cast before.
Are we relatively "safe" from invisible threats? Or is there something else we should be buying in a teleport shopping trip
As far as the unused pile of loot we have, Grym would like to take the Potion of Bull's Str for Bucho

Morkeleb the Mighty |

Level!!
HP: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 <--suck it Tony
Spells Chosen:
Irresistible Dance
Prismatic Wall <--I'll be prepping at least one of these--you guys need to know NOT to try to go thru it!!
Feats:
empower spell
great fortitude

Morkeleb the Mighty |

If anyone cares to check, look at my prepared spells.
* means it's prepared.
B means it's prepared, with Bouncing Spell feat
P prepared, with empowered spell feat
~ means it's been used
i'll take suggestions to change stuff if you make yer case! :-)

Whoa this fight is AWESOME guys!
Im in Matewan WV tonight at tomorrow am jumping off on a five day moto trip around S E Kentucky. On and offroad. Will be staying in crappy hotels each night. Assuming there is signal and/or wifi I will be able to check in and post each night.
But this is middle of nowwhere appalacia so its not a given.
Feel free to post for me if need be.

Congratulations! You've defeated Queen Ileosa and Kazavon. The campaign isn't done yet though....
You're still in the room, some of you may be blind. Bucho is in a coma. You're miles from a city that has NO ruler.
You have allies in the city, but the road forward is impossible to predict. We have 3 "scenes" remaining:
1. Getting back to the city.
2. Your involvement in what happens next for Korvosa (which can be as involved, or not, as you'd like.)
3. Each character's denouement.
Once we complete those, I will issue my final congratulations with a special post.

Odric the Stout |

Guys, I will make certain leveling decisions depending on the reaction to Odric's royal aspirations. So if you want to weigh in, please do! I'm thinking about dipping into Cavalier, Bard, or possibly War Priest.
I know it doesn't make a whole heck of a lot of difference in the game at this point, but I'm excited about it nonetheless. :-)

Dungeon Master S |

I can see the first 2, but the 3rd seems a bit out of the blue for him...

Ferox Kerr |

Sorry, I've been away camping with the family. Lots of reading to do to catch up on everything. I likely won't be able to post until tomorrow, though

Janni generally get along with djinn and shaitans. Don't really get along with others.
What brand of genie is Mork marrying?

Thank you all for a remarkable and memorable experience. This campaign was a lot of fun!! Everyone contributed to memorable times, and you are all peeps I would go out of my way to game with again, and eagerly.
Special thanks to our tireless DM. Believe me, I understand how spoiled I am when I gloat that (and I think I'm the only one who can say it) I have been in every one of his completed AP's/campaigns, from start to finish.

It has been a great time. I was telling my wife and child how this game is finally coming to a close. My 9 year old was blown away that we have been playing the same game for half of his life.

I feel very special. This was my first PbP endeavor, and I am so very very happy that we made it through. I was told by a few people who have been doing PbP for a long time to make a character for the short term, and be ready for the campaign to die or go through many different players. I'm glad to see this one bucked the norm.
Many thanks to DMS, awesome job! Many thanks to the other players, you all made it interesting, and fun, and I look forward to the next campaign. King Odric thanks for the invite, I blame you!
Now to the Old Lady. Thanks for the 2 posts. I am humbled that someone not involved in the campaign enjoyed reading it.
