Ok so my spoiler comment was me totally skimming the post at work, then responding ready for another huge fight. My apologies I thought there was a skull sitting on top of an alter wrapped in chains. Which reminded me of a past adventure that had something very close to that description.

But none the less..... it compels a question

thank you for pointing that out...I think we need to check that alter more carefully.

Can we circle up here about our mission in Scarwall?

We... Need to banish 4 specific undead who are anchoring the evil here. And we've defeated one of them, correct?

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Yes. There's a sword here somewhere that can defeat the queen and her crown. You need not cleanse the castle of the 4 spirit anchors, but if you do not, you'll lose Zellara forever.

Cool, thank you, Chris. I will try to pay better attention. I find it hard to keep track of this format.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

No apologies necessary. It can be tricky even Face to Face. My Rise of the Runelords group can spend weeks in a dungeon, making it tricky.

That's one of the things I wish I did a better job with on Obsidian Portal.

I think a free solution would be to simply have a shared googledoc that summarizes the plot

    Welcome back Odric.

Now for those of you that know him, I swear I hear Odric in this video around 9:45 mark. Actually just jump there the rest of the video is pretty boring.

    Here's the video

Umm would the campaign info tab be an appropriate place to keep the plot summary, and maybe a list of goals, or at least the relevant one?

I was thinking we could just add a sheet to your already awesome spreadsheet.

Hail! I'll be mostly incommunicado from Thursday night until Sunday night. I'll be at Total Con running an unreasonable amount of games (I set a goal for myself of earning my 5th star there, and it means running 4 specials in one weekend, two of them multitable.) Bot me as needed.

    Male Human Wizard (Enchanter: Controller) 17 Init +6; AC=19; T=16; FF=17; HP 23 / 92

OOOOOHHHH!!!! We get to not the DM?!?! Neat!!

I'll be at the con as well...I have at least 1 table with Our Friend here...unfortunately I've already played the scenario at which he's slated to earn his fifth star :-(

And I'm back from Total Con. I'm just catching up on everything, but it seems like you still need to decide what to do first before you need me.

The con was fun, there's a solid Pathfinder crowd there. The convention center there is mostly small rooms, so it's hard to see other games (I saw some Adventure League shirts, but never saw any 5e.) Normally I save myself some slots each day to explore, but I was very keen to earn my 5th star there, which meant a marathon. I made it, which means I can calm down a bit with the amount of GMing I do.

That's good news for us as I can focus a bit more on my campaign-type games in real life and here.

What does the fifth star get you, Chris?

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

That's for taking one for the team Joe!

5th star is mostly just a prestigetitle, but there are some perks. There are some Society modules that you can only run as a 5 star. You also get first dibs on things at major conventions.

The rule book says there are other things that are exclusive to 5 stars, but I'm not sure what those are because I haven't been confirmed yet.

That would be impressive. For me running 2 miles before Empire of the clouds would be a goal.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

I ran one last week in 24 minutes. I know I could do better but:

    1. Treadmills blow.
    2. I had music that fits a slower pace.
    3. I had enough left in the gas tank after to do other things.

    Male Dwarf Fighter 15 Urban Ranger 2 AC=32 (CMD base 37+ specials); T=16; FF=29; HP 183/183; Init+8; Per +22; +18F+14R+9W

Many props there S! So 24 minutes is a great time for a 5k. Especially at your age. :D Not an age joke, that was my normal goal for the Marine PT test which is just 3 miles, and I was 19-26 then.

Your goal is to finish 5k in less time than Empire of the Clouds which is an 18 min song. Very nice, 3 miles in 18 minutes or less will get you 100 out of 100 points in the Marine Corps PT test. Good luck!

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Thanks! I'm not sure I can do it, or that I will. I can run 2 miles in 12:30 on a good day. I think this goal is just beyond my reach... which is why I'm setting it.

I didn't realize Empire of the Clouds was an 18 min song, thought it was a bit shorter. But still 3 six minute miles is fragging fast!
Getting under an 8min/mile pace would be a goal for me.

That is really fast. Well done.

My best 2 mile run was 13:12 if memory serves. 2 seconds short of 100 points on my PT test.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

    Thanks, eh.

If I ran the APFT at my current age 100% would be 13:36. Minimum is like 18 and change, which I can do on a bad day. The thing is, I haven't been training for running, nor have I been eating well. I spent the last year doing more lifting than running. With a race in 3 months, it's time to start cutting.

Hey guys, I'm going to be gone from Friday afternoon to late Sunday. I'll be on a snowshoeing hiking trip in Northern Vermont, where my connectivity is spotty at best. I'm guessing I won't be posting until I get back.

Lets divi up the mummy treasure.

+1 half plate armor? I think that would be Sandor or Odric. Not sure if that is better than whatever each of them already has. Grym would loose too many bonuses if he wore heavy armor. We could probably sell it for a bit, help defray the costs of our restoration needs.

Pretty sure everyone who doesn't already have a +2 Cloak of Resistance would benefit.

Fire Resistence Ring, cool, probably anyone could benefit

Brooch of Shielding. Sounds like a wizard thing, Mork?

    What Rich said.

    Grym level up

    HPs 1d10 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10

gets Quarry, gains a +2 bonus on designated prey, AND autoconfirms all crits vs quarry

improved initiative feat (+7 is new base, not including ranger terrain bonuses)

As far as treasure goes, Grym makes no claim on the latest haul. It looks like Gaius gets the Cloak of Better Saving Throws, and either Odric or Sandor gets the ring. Flavorwise it would be cool for Sandor to have the fire resistence or maybe to prove he isn't afraid of it anymore perhaps he would give it to Odric.

Mike, Grym took the +1 holy cold iron long sword. He trades in his +1 scimitar for it. Please take note on your treasure collection sheet

    One final note.

Please adjust the initiatives, as Grym's is +7

Please adjust the search/perceptions, as I'm sure all of us max out our ranks in perception. (or at least Grym, Bucho, Gaius, Ferox, ect..)
