I imagine Corerue was just buried in an avalanche of logs, lumberjacks, maple syrup and barbed wire. He's burrowing his way to the surface with his mighty beard like one might a belt sander through wood.
He'll surface within a few days after having taken the final steps to evolve into a dire lumberjack. Mightiest of the treefolk.

Then perhaps he can shrug off all these falling objects that keep trying to kill him on a regular basis. For he would have skin like the bark of the greatest redwood and maple syrup for blood.

Though if anyone felt like it we could do a round of in character introductions at this point. That is as we all pitch in to do our part and get Gu'tul off the wall.
Regardless of how it is done the safest method to remove the pinned mongrelperson is likely the longest to complete.

Oh and I have seen Corerue active on the site through some of his aliases. So he isn't dead, GM posts take more effort and time to write up than player or advice posts though so I would expect that he is waiting til he can actually sit down and write something to do so.

Currently minimizing my gaming presence to hopefully lessen the strain on my current situation.

My new job has been rather hectic, had a major upset with the drop in oil and as of right now positions are being eliminated throughout the areas we work. During times like these its best to continue offering your self for work than just working your norm.

However I am dropping out of games where its has become slow or I am unable to focus enough. Honestly I am trying to free up time to continue the games I DM. For now stick with me. Apologies for my less than stellar record.

The game I am active in is only through posting with my phone. However I am hoping today I will be freed up to commit more time but as of right now its a wait and see. May be working a ten week hitch at work, we have some exploration work going on so that means I could get more time to post, however its my first exploration job so I will keep you posted. Since this is one of my most active games I thought I'd let you guys know. I most likely will be shutting down my least active games to increase my focus.

Skyfall is regrettably among those that may go on Hiatus temporarily. At least you are my players so we can start again but trying to make time.

Iron Gods is going to be dropped most likely but that is TBD.

WotR will continue

Iobaria will continue.

I've dropped out of four games I am currently in as players to try and get more time and minimize how late I'm up as a DM lol.

Again, sorry for the wait, will post later today in OOC/In Game when I get the chance. :/

Male human Nerd 2

Mah, like I had said lack of a proper computer and actual time to post properly.
*shifty glance* puts away goggles of GM mindreading.

No worries Corerue, iron out all your real life problems! Burrow out of that tree/syrup/barbwire cocoon and become the mightiest lumberjack! Then you can wear all the prettiest dresses.

As an aside this still seems an opportune time to speak with each other as we get set to free the mongrel woman whos name I keep butchering.

Corerue as we are all in the process of leveling would you please refresh me on any house rules relating to that for this game?
Hitpoint rules and the like. Want to make sure I didn't miss something.

For Jen:

Allowed materials are as followed: any Paizo Product currently printed and any SGG material is fine. I may allow additional books so long as I have them.

So rolling will be as followed:
For each attribute, roll 4d6, dropping the lowest die. If you rolled less than a 7, re-roll, i.e., 7 is the minimum allowed attribute score. In addition, roll 7 attribute scores and drop the lowest. Assign attribute scores as you will. Alternately, you may employ "epic rules" and roll 1d3+15 for any attribute you choose, BUT for every attribute you roll this way, you must roll one other attribute as 1d10+6. So let's say you're rolling a sorcerer(ess). You would probably want to roll 1d3+15 for your charisma, and then take 1d10+6 for maybe strength or dex, leaving your other attributes as standard rolls.

Starting Gold maxed as well. You are only lvl 1. :)
And yes as the rolling rules state above.
Roll 7 times and drop the lowest stat, you may place your stats anywhere you wish.

Old(New) option for you all.
Since I use Hero Points it also gives you the option of giving up your hero point usage to gain another feat. It is an option. However way the cost of losing Hero Points before selecting it.

Campaign Traits
The following campaign traits tie characters to the Wrath of the Righteous Adventure Path. The Adventure Path assumes that every character in the campaign has one of the following campaign traits. Choosing the best trait for your character is important, and that choice will resurface during the course of the campaign. These traits are also found in Pathfinder Player Companion: Demon Hunter’s Handbook. While the mechanics are the same for those printed here and in the Demon Hunter’s Handbook, the traits presented here go into more flavorful detail.

These traits explain your character’s link to the Worldwound, but each trait is also associated with one of the six mythic paths—your character doesn’t begin Wrath of the Righteous as a mythic character, but the results of the first adventure will catapult your character into this new realm of legendary power, setting her up for even greater challenges that await in the next five adventures of the campaign. Choosing a campaign trait that matches the mythic path you want to take will result in your campaign trait being enhanced when you do become mythic. In a way, you can consider the selection of your campaign trait as also selecting your character’s mythic destiny!

As a special note, each of the following campaign traits ties into a specific encounter or plot development in the Wrath of the Righteous Adventure Path—what that encounter or development might be, you’ll find out as the story unfolds. As a result, its best if every player in your group picks a different Wrath of the Righteous campaign trait. If you and another player both want the same trait, be sure to work out a way that both of your characters took part in the same event—examples of how to do so are given for each option below.

Finally, you’ll also note that these traits are a bit more powerful than most traits—this is intentional, as these traits help to set up your mythic background!

Chance Encounter: You always tended to get in over your head as a child, but your biggest youthful misadventure was the time you “accidentally” found yourself behind enemy lines in the Worldwound. You probably never would have made it back home to Kenabres if not for the help of a mysterious woman who helped you trick your way through a group of cultists. The woman never told you her name, but you remember her beauty and a deep sense of sadness she seemed to carry with her. Her skill with the bow was impressive as well, but the thing you remember most about her was the symbol of Desna she wore—she often held onto it without seeming to realize it, as if the connection to the goddess was something she clung to in a sense of need, as someone might clutch at a rope while dangling over a vast pit. She left your side a few moments before you were picked up by a patrol of crusaders, who finished the job of escorting you back to safety, and you’ve never seen her again. Ever since, you’ve just been lucky when it comes to trickery. Once per day, if you fail an Acrobatics, Bluff, Disguise, Sleight of Hand, or Stealth check, you may immediately reroll that check as a free action. You must take the second result, even if it is worse. Associated Mythic Path: Trickster. Multiple Characters: You and other characters were all saved by the same mysterious woman in your childhood. This could have been the same event, or she could have saved you on separate occasions—the discovery that someone else was saved by the mysterious stranger has resulted in a long friendship (or perhaps friendly rivalry) with the others she rescued.

Child of the Crusade: Your parents were members of the crusade, as were their parents before them. (If you are an elf, gnome, or other long-lived race, these could be brothers or cousins instead, since it’s possible that the Worldwound simply didn’t exist at a time before you were born.) The righteousness of the crusades sometimes feels as if it runs in your very blood, and it bolsters you against demonic influence. Your parents may be alive still, or they may have perished on a mission—that choice is up to you. You grew up knowing them, though, and their zeal and devotion to the crusade is the primary reason you feel the same way. They’ve told you of other family members who have also been involved in the crusade, and it’s not uncommon for you to meet a distant cousin or long-lost aunt, uncle, or other family member while traveling among the border towns of Mendev. This strong family tie bolsters your mind and sense of belonging to the crusade. Once per day when you fail a saving throw against an effect created by a demon that would possess or incapacitate you mentally, you may immediately reroll that saving throw as a free action. You must take the second result, even if it is worse. Associated Mythic Path: Marshal. Multiple Characters: If other characters take this trait, you should all be related—you can be siblings, cousins, or even more distant relations, but you should all be aware of this shared lineage.
Exposed to Awfulness: When you were a child, you were nearly slain by a demon that managed to make its way through the wardstones into the lands beyond. The demon was slain before it could kill you, but you lingered at death’s door in a coma for weeks before waking. Ever since then, you’ve been unusually hale and hearty, as if your body had endured its brush with awfulness by becoming supernaturally fit. But still, the scars (whether physical or purely mental) of your brush with death remain, and nightmares of what could have happened often plague your sleep. Something, be it your own personal force of will, some strange “infection” from the assault, or perhaps a combination of both, has made you stronger than before. You’re not sure what to make of the theories that you survived this exposure to awfulness because you yourself have some trace of demonic heritage that helped give you the advantage you needed to survive— but whatever it was, you’re glad for it! Your strange resistance to demonic attacks persists to this day. Once per day when you fail a saving throw against an effect created by a demon that would kill or physically incapacitate you, you can immediately reroll that saving throw as a free action. You must take the second result, even if it is worse. Associated Mythic Path: Guardian. Multiple Characters: You and any others with this trait are related, if only distantly. You could be siblings or cousins—a condition that perhaps lends some credence to the theory that all of you share more than just a common bloodline.

Riftwarden Orphan: You bear a strange birthmark on your body—something you’ve learned is the Sign of the Seeker’s Spiral, a rune associated with the secret society known as the Riftwardens. You have researched this rune, and have learned that the mark sometimes appears on the children of Riftwardens who have been exposed to particularly strange planar energies. Unfortunately, you never knew your parents, for you were raised by a foster family in Kenabres. Your foster family has confirmed that both of your parents were Riftwardens, and has further confirmed that your parents went missing on a secret mission into the Worldwound less than a month after you were born. You’re not sure what happened to them, but you’re certain they’re dead—and your gut tells you that the one who murdered them yet lives! In any event, you’ve long felt magic in your blood, and casting spells comes easily to you. You gain a +2 trait bonus on all concentration checks. Associated Mythic Path: Archmage. Multiple Characters: You should be siblings with any other character that takes this trait, so that you share the same missing parents. Your parents could even be foster parents.

Stolen Fury: You were forced to take part in a demonic ritual as a youth after having been captured by cultists. Whatever the ritual’s purpose may have been, it didn’t work out the way your captors envisioned—rather than corrupting your soul, you absorbed the ritual’s energy and made it your own before you escaped to safety. Ever since, you’ve been haunted by strange nightmares about the ritual, and have long felt that the energies it bathed you in have changed you. Recently, those energies have changed— it’s as if you’ve f inally managed to come to terms with your past and have turned the ritual’s aftereffects to your advantage, following the old adage of what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. You’ve been unable to learn more about the ritual or what it was for, but the question lingers in the back of your head to this day. This nagging has instilled in you a fury against demonkind. Today, when you face demons in combat, those energies bolster your fury, granting you a +2 trait bonus on all combat maneuver checks against demons. Associated Mythic Path: Champion. Multiple Characters: You and any other PC who takes this trait were all part of the same ritual, and it was only by working together that you managed to escape—further, the support of your fellow ritual survivors has played a key role in your coming to terms with it, and you retain a close bond of friendship (or perhaps a friendly rivalry) to this day.

Touched by Divinity: As long as you can remember, you’ve had an unexplainable interest in one deity in particular. One of your parents may have been a priest of this deity, or you may have been an orphan raised by the church, but these alone cannot explain your deep connection to the faith. You’ve always felt calm and at ease in places holy to the deity, and often have dreams about the god or goddess visiting you—most often in the form of a sacred animal or creature. Your faith is strong, even if you don’t happen to be a divine spellcaster—if you are a divine spellcaster, you should be a worshiper of this deity. You begin play with a silver holy symbol of your chosen deity for free. In addition, choose one domain associated with your chosen deity. You gain the use of that domain’s 1st-level domain spell as a spell-like ability usable once per day (CL equals your character level). Associated Mythic Path: Hierophant. Multiple Characters: If other characters choose this trait, you should all work together to decide what deity you’re associated with—it should be the same deity shared by all of you. You might even share the same dreams.

Cool, HP has been corrected.
I'm going to be interested to see what happens with both mythic and hero points active in a system. I get the feeling things are going to become ridiculous.

I'm also really wondering who in the hell designed mythic power attack.
Because I will have absolutely no investment into melee attacks as I level and I STILL desire to pick that crap up.
It out and out renders another mythic feat (Mythic furious focus) completely inert and is will absolutely result in PC deaths if a monster gets hold of it with a decent critical weapon.

Falchions are terrifying when the highest portion of a creatures damage as a 2 hander (power attack) multiplies up to double before critical multipliers are tossed on.

I was thinking it may be best to just avoid power attack altogether. And that has nothing to do with the fact that power attack doesn't work with sword arts...

Aerial Assault (Su)::

You can charge at creatures in the air, or leap across obstacles as part of a charge. When making a charge attack, you can expend one use of mythic power to include a single Acrobatics check made to jump, adding 10 feet per tier to the height or distance you jump. You take no falling damage from the height gained as part of this leap. If your attack hits, you may deal an amount of additional damage equal to the falling damage appropriate for the height you reached. Alternatively, you may replace your melee attack from this charge with a grapple check. If you successfully grapple a creature, you bring it to the ground with you at the end of your jump, and it takes an appropriate amount of falling damage for the height it was at when you grappled it.

WINGS OF DEATH (FINISHER):

Action: Standard action.
Performance: Attack your target. You must descend at least 10 feet immediately prior to this attack (a 10-foot vertical jump requires a DC 40 Acrobatics check as a move action). You can use nearby terrain, including an adjacent wall,
to divide an Acrobatics check that precedes this attack into two separate jumps, though using terrain in this manner adds +5 to the DC of each check (two DC 25 Acrobatics checks, assuming
footing that is 5 feet tall). This movement provokes an attack of opportunity from all creatures except your target.
[/b]Success: Triple sword art damage and you become staggered for 1 round.

Is there anyway to make aerial assault work without a charge so it can lead up to Wings of Death? It is so awesome a combo but I don't see anyway to pull it off easily.

Female Half-Orc Sacred servant/OoV paladin 3 HP39/39 AC15/12/13 CMD:20 CMB+8 Init:+2 Perception:+4, Fort:+11 Ref+12Will+10 Smite:1/1 LOH2/5:1d6+2

So you want to leap like a final fantasy dragoon?
I suppose that the combo would depend on Corerues opinions on being able to vital strike on a charge.
Is a standard action that is an attack (like wings of death) the same thing as a single attack defined as a standard action by the normal rules?

Though if it ends up possible you could also add mythic Death from above (boosts critical modifiers by 2, lets you make a trip check if the attack lands) if you happened to want such an ability as a focus.

Given the choice I'd go for wings of death as a trick. Netting yourself death from above later with your weapon of choice would mean a 15-20 X4 critical chance when Dragooning someone.

As to actually being able to jump that high..
Boosting jump checks in pathfinder to crazy heights isn't that hard in pathfinder. there are several items that can emulate class features, getting one to grab the monks high jump and/or the ninjas leaping talents would technically be a possible option.

The spells Expeditious retreat (boosting your movespeed grants you a net +4 bonus to jump tests for every +10 movement gained) and the Jump spell (giving you between a +10 and +30 bonus to acrobatics for jumping.

Trouble being that Jumping rules in pathfinder are depressingly mundane and jumping Wu-Shu heights is an utter pain in the ass to pull off without changes to the rules.

Wings of Death is a sword art for the Swordmaster class. Its essentially Dante's Helm Splitter from Devil May Cry.

Sword Arts take certain requirments...

Art of Swordplay (Ex):
Swordmasters perform advanced techniques known as sword arts. Sword arts must be performed while wearing light or no armor, not using a shield and wielding only a single sword. Each sword art is either an opener, a sequitur or a finisher. Sequiturs must follow a successful opener or sequitur; finishers must follow a successful sequitur. Each successful opener and sequitur establishes a window during which a sequitur or finisher may follow.

Unless otherwise stated, sword arts’ progression is specific to a single target - the target of a successful opener is the only valid target of a sequitur, and the target of a successful sequitur is the only valid target of a finisher. When an opener, sequitur or finisher is performed, all windows established by previously performed openers and sequiturs end. A series of sword arts directly or indirectly enabled by the same opener is defined as a compound.

Sword art damage is identical to the swordmaster’s normal weapon damage, except that it does not benefit from his Strength bonus or the Power Attack feat and he adds his Dexterity bonus to the damage result. When using a two-handed sword, he adds 1-1/2 times his Dexterity bonus to the damage result. A swordmaster’s Dexterity bonus does not apply to damage results against objects or creatures that are immune to precision damage, even though sword art damage is not precision damage. If the swordmaster has a Strength penalty, half that penalty (rounded down) applies to sword art damage. A swordmaster begins play knowing the sword arts misdirection (opener), incisive strike (sequitur) and deadly arc (finisher).

Some of the later arts are lots of fun.

Female Half-Orc Sacred servant/OoV paladin 3 HP39/39 AC15/12/13 CMD:20 CMB+8 Init:+2 Perception:+4, Fort:+11 Ref+12Will+10 Smite:1/1 LOH2/5:1d6+2

Huh, interesting.
Though now that I see it again that class seems to have a rather nasty rule trick that would allow a Swordmaster to wield a finessable melee weapon with the "Agile" quality and double up on damage when using sword arts from their dex mod.
Even better using a light weapon with the class lets them get Piranha Strike as a sidestep around the no power attack rule.
Though I'm going to assume that one is due to Piranha Strike is a little known feat rather than the designers of the Swordmaster assuming it is available for the classes players to use.

Could get out of hand depending on the sort of damage multipliers Sword masters can get up to.
Even the X3 from Wings could get a little nuts with Double Dex and -Xhit+2XDam from Piranha Strike boosting the numbers.
3d10+36 as a normal strike at this level with all the previously mentioned abilities active.

....
Wait. that means Jen, Jaeger and Cid are all going to be scrabbling for Dexterity boosting magic items when they become available aren't they?
Crap. That could be an issue if Wrath follows the other AP's I've either run or been part of.
Don't suppose any of our casty types are considering the crafting master mythic ability that effectively gives each and every magic item creation feat as a bundle package?

Indeed! Glad to see your both around. Apologies for my lack of posts!

Also since everyone is on this page. I recently noticed some bad activity with my bank account and found someone was creating electronic checks and friggin cashing them for the last few months. So right now not only am I flying to work I am also trying to stop this sort of cyber bs.

So Note of Advice.

If you do not use checks, never plan to or absolutely hate them. Then call your local branch and tell them to disable the service or else you could face the same problem as myself. I just shut it down completely so from now on if someone tries to make one it will be instantly denied.

Granted some businesses do it for a paper trail but in my case that would mean the place I was dealing with was double charging me even though I had an auto pay made up. Just did not make sense. And if they were they have hell to pay as it was charged to my account so what the heck were they taking it for. >.<;;;;

The big reason I say it here is most branches won't dispute anything beyond 60 days. Which means I'm out about 900 bucks at the moment. So check your finances and really scrutinize things. Normally I am more vigilant but this slipped by me. Posts in all games coming tomorrow as that is when this should be resolved. :/

Alright, time to get some spears hucked at me.

Work is being hectic atm. Lots of training being scheduled. Time sensitive stuff. Working on it as swiftly as possible.

Had a thought, realized it was moot as that was the Mongrel men's first round action.

Wow, those are some genuinely terrible rolls right there.

Good thing for you though! You were just healed not to long ago! XD

Now for the rest of ya slobs to roll and fire! XD! Lets fight!

I do mean that as a joke, I know you guys have lives to live and I am the most tardy out of anyone on the face of Golarion!

With Jen already dealing that particular baddie 7 damage I get the feeling that there is nothing "Nearly" about that Bisecting. I mean if the way the other one went down like a punk to Ethrya's crossbow tells us anything it is that these guys lack in the life force department.

Also, note to self. get Jen to learn undercommon. it is exceptionally difficult to sway people to your side and act the whole "Redeemer" archetype if one needs to ape rough gestures at them.

And so the adventurers burst open the door, murdering all the women and children the warriors outside had been defending from attack. The survivors makeing a solemn pact to find their hated foes and destroy them.
Hence thirty years down the line when everyone is fat and happy from the collected spoils of their adventuring years do they get ambushed and killed by a bunch of mongrelfolk in red cloaks.

So as I recall I had 4 people still interested, if that is still so let me know. If not I will make adjustments as necessary to carry one with who we have or by recruiting as necessary. Thanks and see you sooish!

Have a long drive for Holidays so posting will be spotty. Ye have been warned!

Sounds good, lets roll with it! Please Advance to lvl 3 though! Next!

Don't feel like you need to provide a role, plenty of NPC's in this campaign, if I have to I can assign them to individual players and we can make this a lot of fun. A little more work but FUN! XD

Or we could go Gestalt. Up for that too, majority vote. But Either way this Campaign/Adventure is Going to HAPPEN.

Also.

Merry Christmas please advance to lvl 3 for all characters.

Sorry Jaeger. This just hit me and after tallying up the xp for the area we are about to crush/skip for posterity and moving things along it just seemed right.

Moving on!

(F) Aasimar (Agathion blooded) Sorceress (Silver Dragon bloodline) 3

Will advance. Rather not go with gestatl for this one but would be up for controlling an NPC or second character if needed.
