I'm 4'11" and I find it difficult to paint my house. To the point I get frustrated at myself. That's all. I just needed to vent.
*nodnod*
We had a guest leave the hotel early because she ran out of things to complain about that she could use to try and wheedle a free suite night out of us. She claimed the lavender scent that we use throughout the hotel was preventing her from sleeping.

Isu is almost 7 feet! I wish he could help you.

I realize now I never really established Arcalinte's height and weight and stuff. I was in such a hurry to get his sheet finished and stuff and after the game got rolling I was too busy to go back and fix that.

![]() |

I see Arc as about 5'2". That's why he is always compensating.
wooowwwwzers. Burn!

![]() |

That's only the base height for half-elves. I got 2d8 inches left, big guy! :P
ha ha! Well roll it then, brotha!

![]() |

Height: 2d8 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8
So 5' 10". Remember Julius Caesar was considered a giant at 5' 9" and Arcalinte's an inch taller! Plus he's taller than his two inspirations: Alexander Hamilton and Mark Hamill/Luke Skywalker! :P

![]() |

A good height. That is how I pictured Arc, actually!

Returned to work today, hope to catch up with the game and what's been going on in the next couple of days. Unfortunately I was laid rather low by the illness and it's taking a lot to get rid of it. No one tells you when you get old how much longer it takes to be ill and get better.
Anyway as Xmas closes in, I'll wish you all a Happy Christmas and hope you and yours all have a great time.

![]() |

Merry Christmas, all! I know things slow down during the holidays here, but I hope all are doing well and we'll see you on the other side.

Solaria Jesari |

Apologies again, but had a relapse (or a reaction to the medication) which meant I was ill all over Xmas and didn't catch up with this or any other games. I'm feeling better now and will catch up over the next few days.
Hope you all had a great Christmas and a Very Happy New Year.

GM Cellion |

Sounds absolutely terrible Solaria, but glad you're feeling better! Feel free to post when you get a chance. We'll try to get back into 1/day posting starting next week, when I get back.

Solaria Jesari |

Just a quickie, from Solaria's Life Science roll of 26 on the kaukariki check, does she know if the creatures have intelligence?

GM Cellion |

Sure, with a 26 you'd know they're magical beasts with better than animal level intelligence (they have effectively 6 INT). They don't speak or understand any languages, but they're capable of complex reasoning.

GM Cellion |

Like toddlers, but capable of using grenades.
You got it :>

![]() |

Darn, we're almost TOO good for our own good! Fight was finished before I even had time to fire off a Black Hole (I really wanted to use that to pull the monkey-bats out of the trees...)!

![]() |

Wow, what a jump in damage from level 2 to 3

GM Cellion |

Right!? That weapon specialization is serious business :>

![]() |

As to posting rate, I think the expectation in most PbP games is that everyone will post 1/day during the week, and once over the weekend.
I usually prefer a round of combat per day. Where we're already asking for a multi-year commitment from everyone, slowing combat down adds a lot of time to the game overall (which makes it less likely we finish).
Anyway, I'm grateful for your great efforts, GM Cellion, and whatever you prefer should be the way we do it.

![]() |

I think I agree with Spectre. I know I feel a bit torn between the instinct to post every day just to say "I'm here and paying attention" and waiting for others to make posts first so I'm not spamming the thread...

GM Cellion |

Alrighty, with two votes for and none against, we'll try to move ahead with 1 day/round combat speed (with 1 round per weekend). I'll go ahead and do simple botting unless half the party or more hasn't posted yet, in which case I'll just wait.
IMO, I prefer a faster posting rate just to keep the game fresh and in people's minds. Plus, this is a long AP! If we go too slow, we'll all be old and senile before book 6 is done. Just for that sake, I hope we can keep a somewhat faster pace rolling going forward.
---
Also, I hope we hear from Solaria soon! No posts from her in one and a half weeks, so I'm a little concerned.

![]() |

I'll go ahead and take the Zero Rifle if no one else is interested. That leaves my old azumith rifle if anyone wants it, or I can hang onto it for anything that fire hurts more than cold.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Multi-Weapon Fighting is what you're looking for. Especially since as an Operative you'll get the most bang-for-your-buck from it anyway.

Solaria Jesari |

Been at a Con for the last week, the post I put on here to explain my absence doesn't seem to have been put on this thread. Just getting back to normality now, no more time away planned until May ...

Solaria Jesari |

I normally copy and paste from one campaign to another so you can always look at Horillo's posts as they may show what I'm doing.

GM Cellion |

Hey welcome back Solaria! Hope you didn't mind some botting.
@Arc: Hope we can both get into HMM's Aeon Throne game! That one is looking like a doozy, and it'd be cool to both play in something together. Fingers crossed!

Solaria Jesari |

Hey welcome back Solaria! Hope you didn't mind some botting.
No botting was just what I would have done ... :-)

Solaria Jesari |

Sorry missed a couple of days, if I miss doing a post at work, life is a hectic as I'm visiting my mother in hospital after work.

I'm a little confused. That moldstorm didn't seem so bad, but in the Pact Worlds book, in the description of Jabask on pages 31 and 33 (32 is the map), it says:
"This would be easier if not for the frequent moldstorms that sweep the city, eating through seals and circuits, shorting out technology, and forcing citizens to shelter inside thick bunkers."
I was under the impression that said mold would eat through our armor immediately if we were caught outside and didn't hide in, like a cave, or something.

GM Cellion |

*shrug*
The moldstorm as described in the AP isn't nearly so bad. Maybe the more severe variety is a rarer event? Not sure. They could have just had writers that weren't all on the same page.

Solaria Jesari |

Whoooa, played the scenario Save the Renkroda, which was great fun .... :-)...
And we ate all the crisps .... (assuming you are using the US meaning for chips)....

I bet he is dead! Two crits in a row from Isu.
Unless... when I stand up I just get knocked down again!
