Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar felt the healing power of Sarenrae's light.
Thank you brother Hamzah. The Kelmarane Monastery will be cleansed this day.
HP 7/12
Al-Akim Naziri |
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Al-Akim, being on the outskirts of the debris deftly sidesteps and avoids what little falls his way.
"Gnolls. If there are Gnolls here, they will soon be destroyed by the cleansing light of Sarenrae"
Hajar nar Jundi |
Full hp, thank you Hamzah. Let's do this.
Al-Akim Naziri |
Al-Akim swaps his bow for his Falchion. He then goes and stands near the opening for A1b, readying a charge for any creatures that approach.
Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar does a similar action.
Brother Akim, we will strike a blow for the Dawnflower this day.
Raj Ajir |
Heh, with so much healing energy I'm at full health whether I made my save or not, but...
Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Rounds 1 and 2: Raj casts Mage Armor, then climbs up the ladder to a solid spot near the wall where he lies prone with his crossbow.
To find a solid spot:
KnowledgeEngineering: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Impressive alchemy Gunk! You'll have to give me some tips, its been a few weeks since I've done any chemical work.
GM: Dave the Dwarf |
If you want to do anything in prep just post it I don't mind.
You hear the sounds of baboons calling far before you ever see them.
They come out of the area Al-Akim was scouting there are 4 baboons and on 3 of them are riding pugwampi. One of the pugwampi is brandishing a finely made (yet small size) warhammer and is wearing a small sized Brestplate. He is obviously the leader.
The baboons charge at you while the 3 pugwampi jump off 15 feet in front of you.
Round 4
Baboon=B1,B2,B3,B4 AC 13 touch 13 Flat 10
Pugwampi=Pug1,Pug2 AC 13 touch 13 Flat 12
Pugwampi=Leader AC 19 touch 14 Flat 17
Raj we will say your summon goes off this round. All actions will pretty much happen at once so if you do kill a baboon in 1 round it will still get 1 attack before its dead unless you can kill it at range. If you kill a Pugwampi in this round it will not take its action.
GM: Dave the Dwarf |
Raj the balcony is about the only solid spot.
If you want to do the Mage armor and move to the balcony. Then the bird came out. I will give it one attack on the war party as they are running to you if you want to do it that way.
Or you can just stand and concentrate until they are in range and have the bird for 2 rounds. Your choice.
Hajar nar Jundi |
Hajar shouts a warcry and charges the Pugwampi leader.
DAWNFLOWER!
Smite Evil. +3 attack +1 damage +3AC vs the leader
Attack1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
Attack2: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Damage: 2d4 + 5 ⇒ (3, 3) + 5 = 11
Hajar misses his first strike and is now unbalanced. 15AC vs everyone else, 18AC vs leader
Al-Akim Naziri |
Having readied his charge, and spurred on by Hajar, Naziri follows suit, charging the leader of the Pugwampis and swinging with all his might. (Power Attack).
"Sa-ren-raaaeee!"
attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13
attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 2 = 21
damage: 2d4 + 8 ⇒ (4, 4) + 8 = 16
If Hajar fells the Pugwampi leader, Akim will swing at the next nearest pug.
Hajar nar Jundi |
Think we both missed, its AC was 19. I thought the pugwampi were riding the baboons?
Sorry Dave, reading comprehension fail. I'm in a meeting but when there is a lull or break I post.
GM: Dave the Dwarf |
Hajar and Al-Akim charge past the charging baboons.
Baboon 1 attacks Hamzah. B1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21,B,1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
The unluck of its own companions causes the attack to fall short.
Baboon 2 attacks Leyli. B2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11,B,2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Again the attack misses due to bad luck.

Pugwampi:
The leader uses his shatter ability on Hajar's sword! Will save DC 10 or your sword breaks!
Pug 1 Uses its shatter ability on Al-Akim's sword! Will save DC 10 or your sword breaks!
Pug 2 attacks Hajar flanking him Dagger: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 = 9 It is deflected harmlessly off Hajar's armor.
This is going to be a long fight due to the unluck lol
Raj Ajir |
Ok, disregard the previous post.
Raj was intending to have an eagle attack the pugwampi, but when the pugwampis a went up in flames this became unnecessary. He was just about to dismiss the spell when he heard the hooting and hollering of what could only be one of the lesser primates. An even blacker than normal Nemaides lands on his shoulder. Victory. he says with a slightly maniacal gleam in his eye.
Leave these ones to me. As the baboons round the corner, a mighty golden eagle erupts from Raj's hand, glowing brightly. It joins its war cry with that of Hajar and Hamzah, and flies first up, and then down in a powerful hunting stoop, slamming both of its talons glowing with holy fire down the pugwampi leader. Raj immediately begins intoning the words for a protective spell, and grips his quarterstaff. Whose up for a game of whack-a-monkey?
Raj only cast one spell, the SM1 just comes into effect the round after its cast.
Eagle Attacks with Smite Evil, elevation bonus, charge, and flank with Hajar.

Al-Akim Naziri |
round 5
Al-Akim draws the dagger from his wrist sheath in a swift and subtle motion. He steps around behind the leader to set up a flanking position for himself and the Paladin, Hajar.
With all the strength he can muster, the Ranger drives the dagger at the pugwampi leader.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
attack: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 = 11
damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
The thrusting strike hits the leader's breastplate, but unluckily deflects off to the left, turning Al-Akims wrist at an odd angle.
Leyli Wildspeaker |
===Round 4===
With all the healing done, Leyli and Furball will be at full health.

===Round 5===
All in all, there's 4 baboons, 2 pugwampi and 1 pugwampi leader right? How much HP does the baboons have? So I know if I can full attack on this round.

Leyli Wildspeaker |
"Go get their leader! Without someone to command them, it will be easier for us to defeat them." shouts Leyli as she downs the baboon in front of her.
GM: Dave the Dwarf |
Gunk is back so he will take his round 5 turn. Raj you are also up for round 5

All of the Pugwampi are together with the leader and so is Grim, Hajar and Naziri...
The leader was prone at the time Gunk threw his bomb. We will treat it like he attacked a square at AC 5. This is what happens
The Leader, Pug 1, Pug 2, Grim, Hajar, and Naziri all take 4 damage from the bomb exploding.
Leader (11 damage)
Pug 1 (2 damage)

Leyli Wildspeaker |
===Round 6===
"Finish that one up then move to me!" says Leyli as she move to within striking distance of the other baboon.
I guess this move will make us lose our flanking bonus, unless they're right beside each other.
"Grrrrr" growls the mighty lion trying to finish what he has started.
