What do the doors in A18 go? Outside? Also, there is a stairwell in A18, where does that go?
Just assume Hajar, Hamzah and Naziri are taking 20 on all their known skills and perception for 13-18. I'm also assuming the caravan will take a day or two to get here so we have a little time.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Its only a mile away so I will be night when they get here.
A18 the West door (West is north on that map for some reason)Goes to A17
The stairwell is this part in A18.
The door in the eastern wall is unlocked, but a profuse growth of fungus other side effectively bars all but the most determined openers.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Found in A18.
Although most of the books here crumble
at a touch, one book is very well preserved. This unusual book is called Courts of Stone and Flame, and is a treatise on genies of the elemental planes. When consulted before making a Knowledge check related to geniekind, the book grants a +4 bonus to the check. Anyone
character who spends more than a day studying the book learns the names of all five of the Templars of the Five Winds, their associated weapons, and the aspect of wind with which they are associated. The book also contains a brief entry on Jhavhul, who is listed as a shamed member of the efreet nobility of the City of Brass, a famed location on the Plane of Fire. The entry suggests that he ventured to the Material Plane in search of an army and a legacy to raise his standing, during which time he and his armies
warred against the Templars of the Five Winds, but that he was never seen in the City of Brass again
That is all you find in your rooms besides the fungus.

Raj's eyes grow big as he sees the names of the 5 Templars and begins memorizing them immediately. Grandfather's Allies he whispers in awe. Then in later rooms, he sees the relationship Sarenrae had with the genies, and kneels down before the carving. Sarenrae... You allied with us against Rovagug? But the gods have always fought against the genies! He seems deeply troubled by this, but his thoughts are rudely interrupted when they come to the carving of the evil Efreet and the Djinni Princess. He seems stunned for a moment, causing the person behind him to crash into him, but he takes no notice and strides up to the carving, and speaks to it as if it were real. So, we finally meet. he says, staring at the Efreet. The one who banished my grandfather, I'm on the trail to find you at last. he says venomously, glancing over at a bust of the lead jann. He spits at the bottom of the statue of the Efreet. May you rot until I do He starts to walk away, then turns back to the princess, and furrows his brow for a minute. Oh surely not, there's no way a princess would have fallen for a human... No, definitely not...
Knowledge planes to figure out what planar creature the fiery snake human thing is [though I'm reasonably sure it's either a Marlith Demon or a Salamander]. I'm also hoping for a circumstance bonus because of his father's stories.

Hajar nar Jundi |

You have mentioned the fungus. Is it a natural phenomenon?
Yes Hamzah, I believe this is the case. The Efreeti and Jann fought. The Janni were allies of our lady.
Are we with Raj?

Hajar nar Jundi |

I'm gonna roll with the idea that we are all together at some point during the day
Brother Raj, My lady Sarenrae has an illustrious history of destroying the Rough Beast and allying with any and all beings to destroy his abominations

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

You have mentioned the fungus. Is it a natural phenomenon?
Yes Hamzah, I believe this is the case. The Efreeti and Jann fought. The Janni were allies of our lady.
Are we with Raj?
You will have to figure out if it is natural or not.
You are not with Raj as you explore but you are later.

Gunk |

Is someone keeping track of all this loot?
Area A10 (Chapter House): Gunk is very curious about the hole. He looks closely at the hole to determine what made it.
Perception check to investigate the hole without going in it just yet 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 Can I tell anything from the hole itself as to why it is here? Strange markings? etc
Area A 11 (Secret Garden): Gunk examines the foliage around here and looks for any plants that might be unusual for this area. He also looks for plants that may be useful for Alchemical reagents.
Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Area A12 (Shrine to Vardishal): Gunk asks Raj about the statue in A12 Any idea who that is? Or why anyone would want to hack off his hands and face with an axe?
Perception check in that room in and around the statue: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Raj tells the following story as it was told to him by his father.
In the beginning, when Rovagug perfected the way of destruction, the lands were littered with the dead. Crows, maggots, beetles, worms, and the other crawling things of the earth complained to Rovagug.
“You destroy and maim too quickly!” they cried. “We cannot devour all the meat you
give us! Please, destroy the people of the earth more slowly.” “What?” shouted Rovagug, in a voice that toppled pillars. “My
glorious destruction shall never cease nor slow!”
Yet in the dark, delighting in the destruction god’s slaughter,
watched Lamashtu, the Mother of Monsters, and she heard the base things cry. In those black days when all the land was covered with death and all the air stank, she watched as a few tribes of men, her followers and devout worshipers, ate the flesh of corpses as the crows did, pluckingouteyes, savoringthebloodiestcuts.Tothese cannibals she led packs of hyenas, and their ways became as one. Of those louse-ridden beastmen rose the first gnolls, half-hyenas who love the stench of carrion and praise each corpse as an offering to their dark mother. And the demon queen delighted in her own perversion and reveled in these monsters’ terrible howling songs.
Born of devastation, and insanity, and the corrupt of soul, the man-beasts spread upon the world, and where they prowled they indulged in their hunger for murdered flesh. Surely, they are to be despised by any sane god, and so we make ceaseless war on those who seek to feed on the bodies of heroes and innocents. And somewhere in the madness between the stars, the Mother of Perversion and the Mistress of Insanity still laughs her wicked laugh, as her ravening spawn, the bone gnawers and carrion eaters, grow fat off our flesh.
Gnolls are among the first abominations, and their death is a blessing. Remember this when their laughter haunts your steps.

Leyli Wildspeaker |

Sorry got a little busy at work.
Anything interesting in A10 and A11? What can I see hole?
Perception (Take 20): 20 + 7 = 27
Anything about the eggs?
Knowledge Nature (Take 20): 20 + 6 = 26
If I can't take 20, I will take 10.

Leyli Wildspeaker |

It's ok, just want to see if there's anything we can use or learn from the local flora and fauna.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

The hole is the lair of some sort of creature. It looks like the pugwampi were feeding it from the gore left behind.
In the garden there are 2 secret doors they make short cuts is all. There are no unusual plants here now, but it would be a good place to cultivate some.
The statue that has been hacked at seems to be moveable. It will take more than 3 of you to move it though.
The area with the fungus seems to grow in an unnatural pattern. It will also take more than 3 of you to force your way through.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Hundreds of years ago, the efreeti Prince Jhavhul decided to raise an army on the material plane.
The wishcraft used drew the attention of Nefeshti, a djinni princess. She created the Templars of the Five Winds to fight aginst Jhavhul. You have also discoveted Nefeshti had a human lover.
The war took place on and around Pale Mountain. The same white mountain depected here in this monastary that was dedicated to the Templar of the north wind.

Grim The Wanderer |

Approaching silently Grim will go for the backstab.
Surprise Round
Dagger: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 171d4 + 1d8 ⇒ (1) + (2) = 3 vs his FF AC
if i hit current AC 20
Round 1 (assuming 1 go first per house rule)
Dagger fighting def: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 5 - 4 = 191d4 + 1d8 ⇒ (1) + (1) = 2 vs his FF AC
if i hit current AC 22

Leyli Wildspeaker |

Leyli will share with everyone what she saw on those areas,
"Anyone curious on what's behind that statue?"

Hamzah Hamas Al Dajannah |

"I am curious about everything in this place. There appears to be much of interest. Quite a legacy at My Lady's monastery. My eyes are not as perceptive and my feet not as sly as many of you. Take me where you will, I will follow as well as I may." Hamzah follows the others as they search. He will go with Leyli behind the statue if she ventures it.

Leyli Wildspeaker |

If Gunk will follow us or someone else too then we may be able to move the statue.

Hajar nar Jundi |

Not sure why it wasn't showing any new posts for me to keep up with.
Brother Grim, I agree with you. We should speak with this Gnoll. Unless anyone objects, I will offer it clemency if it explains what it was doing and leaves the area. Hajar eyes Gunk expectantly....
This time the gnoll wasn't doing anything except watching right? Also, detect evil.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Raj you can adjust your backstory to fit in with what you learned. You seemed to have guessed at the bigger plot correctly in some ways. I like where it is taking us. If you give me more info I will have the NPCs react accordingly. Ask the gnoll your questions I will answer. The Gnoll is evil. If you took Gnoll killer as your trait the last thing you want is for this one to go free.
