"Of course The Dawnflower is with us. Be more careful next time." Iryna's admonishment is softened as she chants a prayer and heals Kronus.

The Great Dome map is the dungeon map by the way.

It looks like you would be most likely to go to one of the following.

H10:
At one end of the room, a great stone sarcophagus engraved
with arabesques and calligraphy sits, displayed upon a tiered
dais. The top of the sarcophagus lies broken in several pieces
on the floor. Gnolls looted this tomb long ago. Nothing remains
inside the sarcophagus but dust and a few crumbled bits
of yellow bone.

H11:
The rough-hewn passage widens, emptying into a larger
excavation site in which the upper corner of another, older
structure protrudes from the surrounding earth about a yard
above the floor. A sizable hole has been cracked out of its
ceiling, from which protrudes a ladder of lashed sticks.

H12:
Collapsed Staircase
The corridor slopes slightly upward, leading to a collapsed
staircase buried beneath tons of rock and rubble.

H14 The door in the room you are currently in.:
The door is locked tight.

H16:
Foyer
A recently repaired hole in the eastern wall of this otherwise empty room stands partially blocked by three boulders cemented together with dried clay.

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

I'm thinking 18, 19 and down? Would the slaves have told us the way to the king?

Hajar motions to Grim.

What is your counsel on this matter? Which way do we go from here. This is a question best answered by your skillset.

To Iryna Hajar says stoically

Yes, the Lady of the Morning is always with us. We must venture into the night with this knowledge, the Dawn must soon come.

Hajar watches the display of Kronus' barbarity and shivers with barely contained disgust. His body language makes it clear he would much rather not be near the gnoll.

AC 19|HP 38/38

"Perhaps we could check behind the door? I'm not fond of leaving enemies to my rear."

Grim will try to unlock the door from the place we are currently in

There should be stairs going down in the room you were fighting the lone sentry. If this does not't provide a meaningful direction he says nodding toward the door then we will try the stairs.

Slave Leader

You seek out the Carrion King? You are very brave indeed! The way to that evil lies behind us. We will lead you to him but we will not follow. There was a slave rebellion recently we were unfortunate to not be a part of it. Now that we are free we must try to find our families. We can never thank you enough for what you have done for us.

You are told to go back to H1 and down another set of steps there. The carrion King's "Maggot Throne" is just north of the temple you will find at the bottom of those steps.

Grim you find the door to be magically sealed. And just out of your ability to open it. DC 20 Disable device.

Perhaps if you had more information about the nature of magic locks you could take your time and try again.

If an arcane spell caster can tell you about arcane lock I'll allow you to take 10 an pop that sucker open.

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

" If he is as strong as these beasts I shall peel him just as fast! And Assume my place as a TRUE Gnoll King... Now tell me Slave.... is his harem close by? " Kronus says as the healing magics of Sarenrae wash over him and seems to absorb into his fur somewhat..its hue gaining a BIT of his old color. Warmer and healthy rather than Cold and grey.

Ha an arcane lock you say Selina. Right then this does indeed require a different approach he says fidgeting with the lock again

Grim Pops the lock with ease.

The slaves are a little scared by the Large white gnoll's questions.

K.K.King? Are you not here to help us? I I know nothing of a harem....Sir

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

Kronus scrunches his face in a displeased manner, but for once thinks on his reasoning at the current time. His paw scratching his elongated chiseled Hyena-chin as he looks upon the Slaves. Why was he here? Was it not to get revenge on the one who took all from him? To become stronger and the king? But what of the Humans? The Tall one eyes him like a challenge.. in which he would normally confront, but has stayed due to ties to Kuralaak. The Petite Human Female known as Iryna has soothed his wounds and blessed this one known as "Saranrae" she is kind.. like...No.. she is human.. nothing more.. His code dictated he return that favor.. Kuralaak, his bloodpack.. was a statue.. he needed to help him in an equal way. Otherwise what use is his strength? After thinking this all over Kronus speaks in a raspy guttural common, slamming a fist to his chest and pointing at the slaves, "I Am Kronus Deathmaw.. Soon to be King.. I asked of a Harem for there is someone I look for and something I seek. I owe much to the female human and even more to another Gnoll. If protecting you helps them, You will have the full might of my strength.. I do not allow things that are mine to be misused...and I do not enjoy the meat of humans much. You are.. relatively safe. Apparently this Dawnflower sees something in my quest to aid me.. And these humans most likely want you alive" He sneers at the end there as Grim pops the lock at about the end of his speel

Grim will start to sing softly

I am the king in my castle
A leadership , the number one...
I got some money, i got the power
I am the king in this small world

I'm playing with your life
I'm lying, any sin is mine
I'm acting in the real life
I'm touching cause any life is mine

I'm falling alone, i'm falling on the ground
I'm falling deeper undergroung, all my system is going down

Dark waves are sweeping through my castle
The king is dead ! who is next ?
She said everything about who i am
That's why you know what's / behind the smile...

I'm losing everthing i have
I'm dying in my /own trap
I'm leaving all the dreams i have
I 'm falling alone in the dark

as he opens the door after finishing working on the magical lock.

So much danger in the shadow of the throne

In the room:
At one end of the room, a great stone sarcophagus covered with arabesques and calligraphy sits, displayed upon a tiered dais. Opposite the sarcophagus stands an ancient shrine consisting
of an upright wooden box, its faded colors also covered with ancient scribblings in black and gold. The shrine is flanked by short rows of badly tarnished candleholders holding naught but clumps of dried tallow.

Grim will turn to the party;
no one inside.

Male Human (Gnoll Heritage) Alchemist (Vivsectionist Beastmorph) 1

Kronus tilts his head somewhat " Why lock a door with nothing important inside? " shifting uneasily his ears flicking.. " Unless you don't want to search it.. Then I rather finish some much needed.. business with the Carrion King "

Give me a min i'll go look inside.
