This thread is moving quick! I will post my round two actions now as I need to go out for a while today. Gunk will do the same as last round. I will use precise bombs to not hit my ally's with splash damage. Oh and I noticed that I fat fingered my attack on the last round ... should have been rng tch +5 not +3. Either way I missed as I rolled a 1.

rng touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
bomb dmg with spsh dmg of 4: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

I worked graveyard last night, so I'm heading off to sleep for a bit. If my turn comes upjust have my pooch attack again. Looks like that will be 1-2 BUSINESS days for that updated background... Night!

EDIT: you sure? Because there's big difference between poking at a skeleton's rib cage and letting carnivore chow down on it...

Seeing more undead coming his way grim can't help but let out a small curse: Crap !

Furball:
HP 23/23, AC 16, T 11, FF 15, CMD 16, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +3, Init +3, Perc +2, Melee +3

"More undead? Why am I not that surprised? Furball go help them there!"

Furball quickly approaches 1 of the zombies and tries to bite it into pieces,
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

"Let's finish this one before he summons more!"

Quarterstaff, Flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 5 + 2 = 12

Male
Spoiler:
AC 18-FF 17-Touch 11/HP 16/11/Channel Energy: 5/6 Day
Cleric of Sarenrae 2

Hamzah waits until the zombies are close enough. He calls the sun into the depths of the tomb again.

Channel Energy: 30 foot radius; no channel resistance; DC 16 Will;
Dam:1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

I'm in meetings all day, so I might be scarce. Gonna do my next two rounds.

Hajar will attack the skeletal beast until it is destroyed and then the zombies. Also, Hajar will activate his elemental energy ability for the day (2 rounds total) If the skeletal thing goes down then move the attacks to the zombie, Hajar will interpose himself between them and the rest of the party.

Attack1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 assuming flank
damage1: 2d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 4 + (6) = 16 1d6 is fire that springs from Hajar's blade
attack2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
damage2: 2d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 4 + (2) = 9

Akim is up next to go but he has not even leveled up yet...I am going to have to skip him.

Akim uses aid other on Hajar.

Leyli and Furball miss.

Gunk puts his bomb just in the right spot and flames erupt around the Necrophidius!

Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 DC 10+half level 1+ int mod 3=14

The Necrophidius avoids the brunt of the fire and takes 5 damage.

26 damage done

It looks as if Hamzah is holding the sun in his hand as he chants the Dawnflower's prayer.

Necro 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 8 damage done 34 total.

Z1 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 8 damage
Z2 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 8 damage
Z3 3: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 4 damage
Z4 4: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 4 damage

The Snakelike thing screams again and the two zombies in the front reel from the holy light. the two further behind do not burn as bad but still are visibly effected.

The Necro starts to sway back and forth in some sort of dance and you feel yourself begin to become entranced.

HajarWill: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

Hajar quickly shakes off the effect and jumps in the air arms and sword blazing with fire and decapitates the creature!

Furball:
HP 23/23, AC 16, T 11, FF 15, CMD 16, Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +3, Init +3, Perc +2, Melee +3
Druid 3; HP 24/24; AC 14, T 12, FF 12; F +4, R +4, W +7; Melee +2, Ranged +3; CMD 14, CMB +2; Init +2, Per +10; Speed 20 ft;

This would be next round actions,

Furball leans back and pounces right back at the zombie, thrusting his jaw and paws at the rotting flesh,

Since nobody has attacked the zombies yet, Furball has no flanking bonus.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Claw2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

"This is not your world anymore,"
Quarterstaff, Flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 = 27
Confirm: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Crit Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

I guess this would just to the zombie since Hajar killed the necro already.

LeyliWill: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
HamzahWill: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 Dazed
GunkWill: 1d20 ⇒ 13 Dazed
RajWill2: 1d20 ⇒ 1 Dazed (I dont know what your modifier but with a roll of 1 your not going to pass regardless)

Grim and Furball are not in LoS

2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

Hamzah, Gunk, and Raj are dazed for 5 rounds. You can not attack you can only defend yourself.

Z4: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16Hajar Miss

Leyli sees Hajar chop down the Necro and charges to one of the zombies in the front. As Leyli crushes in its skull in it slams her into a wall!

1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Damage to Leyli.

Furball gets hit as well just before he rips the Zombie a new one. (literally)

1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Damage to Furball.

2 zombies left alive.

Grim can attack
Dog can attack

Leyli has taken 14 damage

Furball has taken 8 damage

5/19 Hp for Leyli, 15/23 for Furball. We must be typing at the same time.

"2 more to go," says Leyli as she was trying to stop the bleeding from her wounds.

DM i have a hard time tracking combat rounds (i am not sure i am the only one.) :( i suppose since the monsters went that its round 2

Round 2

Seeing the big undead crumble to dust Grim will move against the zombie that Furball is attacking

Dagger : 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 = 91d4 + 1d8 ⇒ (2) + (4) = 6

Leyli Wildspeaker wrote:

2 Both have attacked.

Grim the dog will attack one zombie and you can flank it.

Dog Attack 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

The Dog kills one of the 2 zombies.

Grim you are last up for Round 2 and you can flank the 1 remaining zombie.

Yea sorry Grim, and everyone, this combat was posted so fast it was hard to keep up with. I will try to get better with what round we are on.I am also going to post after how many PC's go then the monsters will go. No initiative has its positives and negatives.

Grim Misses.

Round 3 Start:

1 Zombie up. 8 damage done to it. It will go again after 4 players post.

Hamzah, Gunk, and Raj still can not take actions.

Grim take your round 3 if you are available.

1 zombie up has 4 HP left.

Round 3

"Furball, last one!" commands Leyli as she tries to slam her quarterstaff with her remaining power left.

Quarterstaff, Flanking: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 = 9

"Ugh, not enough."

Furball seeing his master is having a hard time with the zombie, pounces at the remaining zombie to send it back to oblivion.

Bite: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

"Good job," says Leyli as she sits down to gather herself back.

Leyli, all the positive energy that Hamzah has channeled should have been healing you and the furball for the same dmg it hurts the undead. Also, Dave did you see that I posted two attacks for two rounds did you resolve both of those? If not, see below

Hajar notices the last remaining zombie and says

Begone foul thing! as he swings a viscous overhand chop at its head.

Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 Assuming flank with someone
Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 = 12

All dead loot soon!

A pile of skeletons bearing terrible broken bones lies at the terminus of this passage. A +1 mace is still clutched in the bony grip of a skeleton here. A corpse of a man in yellowing leather armor— clearly not a member of the monastic community—lies at the end of this passage. He wears a suit of masterwork leather armor and bears a +1 dagger.
Buried under a jumble of bones at the end of this passage is a small teak box emblazoned with the holy symbol of Sarenrae. The box contains a wooden holy symbol of Sarenrae suspended from a silver chain and a fully charged brooch of shielding.

The zombies you fought wear the remains of their yellow robes. When whatever force came and tore down the walls the priests came here to make their last stand.

Combat will get more challenging I promise. I am testing the water here.

Hajar's Consumables Male(Human) Paladin 3 Oracle 9 (Abbot Protector of Kelmerane) | HP86| AC/Touch/Flat 22/11/21 | Fort/Ref/Will +14/+11/+14| Init: +1 | Percep: +8

Hajar strides among the bones and wreckage. He prays at the site of each monk and adjusts their remains into a more restful repose. (Going to bury them later)

Hamzah, what was done here? To cause our Lady's chosen to rise as such. Hajar gestures to the fallen creatures.
Gnolls did not do this. This feels different than above.

Hajar begins to explore further.

Hamzah:
You touch one of the dead and have a vision. You see worshipers of Sarenrae in Kelmarane back before it was abandoned and the Gnolls took it. There is a priest, the head priest, he is a good leader. Wait something has changed him. He is inciting his followers to go to war in the name of the Dawnflower! They come here to this monastary and kill all of its members. They then perform dark magics to those they killed. Now the priest realises what he has done and he takes his own life back in Kelmarane...

"A great tragedy, Hajar. Pride and rage poisoning the soul. Our own did this using dark magics the Dawnflower has forbidden." Hamzah appears saddened and displeased.

You can only heal or harm undead. You can't do both. I can't heal any of you while harming undead. So no one was healed during that battle.

Hamzah lets the power of the Dawnflower wash over to heal everyone.

"I need a minute,"

Leyli will prepare and cast Cure Light Wounds while they search the zombies and the necromancer.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

2 lvl 1 spells left.

"Here go drink some water, you might be exhausted too." as Leyli casts Create Water and gives some to Furball.

We will reclaim this place Hamzah. It is our duty. Hajar seems grim in this dark place, and eager to carry the fight to the enemy.

Gonna assume I'm carrying the mace if no one objects. I don't want it for good but like Hamzah said in discussion its probably a good idea for someone to use it.

Hamzah will clean off the wooden holy symbol with water. "Master Gunk, it seems Sarenrae has seen fit to bless us with a symbol for you. I believe she sees a good heart within you and has invited you to know her." He offers the wooden symbol to Gunk.

Crawk! Snap out of it Raj! Nemaides began pecking at Raj, who only half-heartedly batted him away until the magic wore off.

Shaking and clearing his head, he walks over to the remains of the snake where his dog had been chewing until she disappeared, and examines its construction. He says under his breath, Abomination though you were, that was a fancy bit of magic you pulled off... I wonder how..? He begins magically examining it and taking notes.

Raj will at a later level develop a spell that has a similar effect to what the necro-snake did.

As he scans the creature, he calls over his shoulder There's no more undead in any of those coffins, right?
