Hajar nar Jundi |

Hajar eyes the giant sized pieces of excrement and says
I don't believe that we have a reason to tarry here, let us carry the fight to the Carrion King.
On to G, Grim go a scoutin

Kronus Deathmaw |

" You seek to purify this place? Yes? Will you be fine with a snake that can leave that around.. freely..? If so I am fine with that I would rather Sink my teeth into the Carrion King as well. Once I am King I will kill it later. " Kronus smirking at the speed of which the Human seems to realize how big the snake is.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Rising from the center of the temple grounds is a tremendous dome of stone, brass, and crumbling plaster. The great dome sits on a octagonal base, inlaid in intricate geometric patterns with thousands of colored glass tiles. Time and the elements have reduced their once bright colors to faded pastel hues of blue, green, and yellow. In several places, the tiles have been completely worn away, exposing plaster and brickwork beneath.
Along the southern side of the great dome curves a set of crumbling marble stairs that climbs to a forty-foot-wide stage and a pair of rust-encrusted doors. The doors are so rusty that their once exquisitely
carved facade is now indecipherable and their hinges have corroded into the doors themselves. It’s only a DC 20 Strength check to bash down the huge doors as a result. Beneath the alcoves, along the western floor and
in the northeast corner are a pair of holes that narrow into tunnels. A Small or smaller creature can navigate these tunnels easily, but a Medium creature must succeed in a DC 25 Escape Artist check to wriggle through them.
Grim you scout ahead and see no signs of guards here.

Hajar nar Jundi |

Hajar moves to open the doors once Grim gives him the signal
Str: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Kronus, Kuralaak, lend me your assistance

Kronus Deathmaw |

Strength Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Goes to attempt to help Hajar but remembers how the Human looked at him before.. putting in a half effort, if you could even call it that
"Seems like the strength simply isnt with me Oh Human of the Dawnflower. Perhaps The fight with that Trog has worn me down? "

Hajar nar Jundi |

Hajar steps back after failing to open the door.
Well, it seems the Carrion King wishes to keep us out.
Grim can you sneak through the crack and see what lies behind.

Kronus Deathmaw |

Kronus snickers and cracks his neck. Clearly this was a test, only a true Gnoll could open this door, he forgoes the help of the rest and attempted this.. alone
" Grraaah! Thats a waste of time! This door is clearly a challenge and I INTEND TO BEAT IT! "
Strength Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Kronus walks back up to the door, looking at its deheveled hinges and condition. Then.. The feeling.. Feeling of power his necklace would give him in dire times. A power rises in his body his eyes grow Feral and Kronus Leaps up clasping to the wall with the strength of just his arms and claws, legs and feet, digging into the rusted metal and ripping a hinge out the wall, then another. Backflipping to the ground then shoulder-rushing the door with tremendous force.
Afterwards the White-Grey Gnoll seems..slightly taller and more fit..clearly stronger in some way he roars a Hyena's victory. " As if he could make a door to STOP ME! This is Proof only the strong can enter and take his title! "

Hajar nar Jundi |

Seeing the gnoll make his display Hajar narrows his eyes and grips Tempest, examining the feral gnoll closely.
Did he play me for a fool?
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Kronus make a Bluff check for your first Str Check if you want to try to fool Hajar into thinking that you really were too tired to open the door the first time.
Your Bluff DC will be 20 (This DC includes a -10 for him to believe you as he just watched you rip apart the doors by yourself. The lie is far fetched –10.

Iryna Marita Pantaeva |

Iryna watches Hajar tense at the white gnolls display. Leaning close to him she whispers,
"Thank you Kronus." The cleric smiles enigmatically.

Hajar nar Jundi |

Kronus Deathmaw |

Oops took a little nap and passed out... BLUFF you say? Well this should be fun. There is no way he could make that except on a 20
Bluff to Hide Str: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Sooo close, wish it was a class skill or I had any Cha
Kronus looks to the Female Human Iryna and smiles, nodding once. He seems pleased with the recognition, popping a shoulder and cracking his neck before he calms down again. " Maybe that Strength was your 'Dawnflower' quickening your approach to this Great Evil? Hrmm? " He gestures to the remains of the door and Hajar " Though whatever it is inside, besides the Carrion King, knows something strong is coming... "

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

I must assume you have Grim Check the door and find it to be unlocked without traps.
You open the door and find (G3) a narrow hallway circles the inside of the dome, its walls crawling with beetles. Loose chunks of plaster and bits of rubble clutter the floor, and old smears of blood stain it brown.
A flight of stairs winds down around the outer wall of the inner dome to the east. The three doors leading into the inner dome are quite stout, and all all barred from this side as if to keep something trapped inside.

Hajar nar Jundi |

Updated the map a little.
Hajar peers at the doors using his Goddess's power to search for evil.
Something is being held inside the dome.

Hajar nar Jundi |

Grim, prepare yourself to strike. I will unbar this door.
Hajar moves to the door and attempts to unbar it.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Hajar un-bars the door and you see that dome climbs high overhead. Long ago, the inner ceiling collapsed, leaving its timbers and skeletal framework exposed beneath its brass-plated shingles. The ground below
is cluttered with rubble.
You look around the room too see what has been held in here. You see a bull-like creature that seems to be made of interlocking metallic plates. Faint plumes of green smoke puff from its mouth. The creature is over 6 feet tall and 8 feet long. As bulls often do it looks as if it is gearing up to charge you as it picks itself off the ground from is position of rest
DC 15 Knowledge (whatever is used to identify a Magic Beast)

Selina Aldaeth |

Selina catches a glimpse of the bull and seems to recall having seen it before but in the midst of the danger, cannot place her finger on it.
Knowledge (Arcana): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Hajar nar Jundi |

Oh hell. OFC I released a damn monster, even if it isn't evil.
If Hajar has time to slam the door closed and bar it again he will, if not....Tempest is getting drawn and Hajar will channel the power of Sarenrae into the blade, giving it the Keen property.

GM: Dave the Dwarf |

Hajar Initative to close the door: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 Dex +1 and the assumed improved initiative.
Bull's Initative to charge through the door: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Hajar You are not quick enough to get the door closed and the Gorgon smashes the door apart from its charge. All of you that were standing close are able to move out of the way but you are in relative Melee range of the Gorgon.
Players you still go first. Give me a bit to put a combat map up and we will start Round 1.

Kronus Deathmaw |

Kronus back-flips landing on all fours as the Bull breaks through the door with little effort. He evades most of the splintering wood and debris a few landing in his fur. He starts to growl ready to assault this creature.. perhaps do to it what he did to the door. It did not matter how big the creature was, nothing would stand in his way as long a Kronus lived.
" It seems like his pet wants to play..we'll have to put it down like the other one! "

Hajar nar Jundi |

Hajar steps up and attacks the beast. 5' step to avoid the AoO
Tempest: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 but he fails to find a chink in the metal beast' armor.

Iryna Marita Pantaeva |

Iryna steps forward, her tattoo flaring as she flings a bolt of fire towards the beast. "By Her holy name!"
Move to P20; Ranged Touch, in melee Flamebolt!: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 3 - 4 = 7 inflicting Fire Damage!: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 lol I can't hit AC 9...

Kronus Deathmaw |

Round 1
=======
" Let me show you how its DONE! RAAAAH!"
Kronus leaps from all fours into a running start and comes down with a raking claw across the creatures eyes
Charging Powerful Claw: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Charging Powerful Claw Damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Where Hajar had his blow deflected,Kronus takes advantage of the distraction to strike the intended spot digging his claws in and taking a small chunk of its metal carapace away
I charged, So my AC - 2 for a 19 AC currently...Not sure if it provokes or not

Hajar nar Jundi |

Definitely provokes

Selina Aldaeth |

Selina unleashes a bolt of fire at the iron beast and steps back 10':
Ranged Touch Firebolt: 1d20 + 1 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 + 1 = 9..yes, got him!
Damage: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6

Grim The Wanderer |

Round 1
Grim will take a 5ft to try and get toward the back of the creature
Still at work, so can't access the map
His two daggers appear from inside his sleeves and he starts targeting the creature's weak spots.
Dagger 1: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 = 261d4 + 1 + 3d8 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (6, 2, 7) = 19
Dagger 2: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 2 = 221d4 + 1 + 3d8 ⇒ (1) + 1 + (6, 7, 2) = 17
Current AC 24 if he hits with a SA
