Yvogga seems to be telling the truth - she has no love lost for her mother and her methods.

She nods and agrees to show you where the camp is - but she very obviously wants to leave your company.

Thael considers their options. "We should make our way to this camp as soon as we are prepared. I am not sure if we just let this opponent go or not," he muses.

I think the handwave is we let her go? :D

"She will run off. Once her mother finds out she betrayed her whereabouts, she's as good as dead in these parts anyhow. Isn't that right, Yvogga? We'll kill her eidolon, though. Then she'll be plenty weak for a day, or however that astral nonsense works."

Indeed, Ishingka moves toward the eidolon and draws her hammer. "Tell it to lower its head, orc," she says gruffly to Yvogga.

I'm not that mean! It will come back the next day!

"That is pretty mean. I'd probably claw you to death if you tried to convince me to abandon Ussur. He'd probably claw you to death first, though," Jag offers, adding a smile that has hope but little else. "You don't want any more trouble, right?"

Jag's not opposed to letting her go.

Tae shrugs. "I guess letting her go will be harsh enough if she will be judged for her betrayal... "

Hali grunts noncommittally and spits on the ground in disdain.

Yvogga allows you to execute her Eidolong, but then runs, swearing that one day Ishingka will rue the day she made an enemy of her.

Following her instructions, you make it to the cavern where you can clearly see from your hidden spot the group of Terrin's scouts, alive but unwell being held in a shallow pool of water behind bars.

You see 6 guards sitting around gambling around a fire.

"Ready?" Thael asks, preparing to ambush the guards.

Jag offers a thumbs up. Ussur lowers his head in a gesture that may be construed as nodding.

Fights go well when Thael leads.

Not sure if we need initiative or if I can get a medium-range spell off, but I'll cast glitterdust in their midst if I can cast. DC 19 Will

Ishingka says nothing, but gives a toothy grin instead.

"Time to work," Jag calls to the bear, who growls in concert on the approach.

Oddly enough, I rolled with the right numbers, just not with the right word written in

Satisfied that his spell had caught most of the orcs by surprise, Thael casts grease under the feet of the one that doesn't look blind.

Hali casts a spell, expeditious retreat, and with a blessing from his warhammer burst of speed he's off, moving towards the orcs in a blur of speed, longspear held ready.

base speed is 80 feet for 1 minute, then 50 feet for 4 minutes after that. Longspear is drawn

Ishingka runs past Hali, grinning, ignorant of the fact that he took time to cast a spell.

Arileth hustles toward the action, drawing her longsword as she moves. Double-move.

Thael follows his first spell with another, summoning grease beneath the enemy

Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

The warrior impressively keeps his balance and is ready for more.

Tae finishes casting and an eagle appears, which flies over and attacks the enemy in green on the grease. Then he moves forward and begins casting again.

The eagle tries to red the green orc when it arrives there.

to hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
dmg if hits: 1d4 ⇒ 2

I hadn't moved and cast in the surprise round...just cast.

Thael draws a wand and sends a magic missile at the surprisingly-resilient orc.

mm: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Thael's action is what instigated the surprise round, so you actually ended up taking two actions in the surprise round. If you want to move after the grease now you can, but the magic missile will have to be saved for next round

Hali has the lookout feat, so he gets full actions in a surprise round in this case. I *was* thinking about that when I posted, though I think I neglected to mention it

Hali grins at the orc that kept his balance. With a hand on his warhammer, he whispers under his breath and grows to an incredible size, then he backs up and continues to circle around the orcs.

"That one!" Jag calls to Ussur as Jag approaches and Ussur approaches quicker.

Doublemoves for us both.

Ishingka glances at Hali, surprised, as she catches up to him in a few swift strides. "What kind of dwarf can run faster than I can and grows huge?" She shakes her head and enters her bloodrage, opting not to call upon her abyssal bulk this time.

"What happened to blessing us, Arileth?" she laughingly growls, and swings at an orc with her Lucerne hammer, her muscles expanded and her veins swollen with demonic ichor.

Having already expended two of his more powerful spells in this battle, Thael draws his wand and fires a magic missile at the orc with the purple cloak.

The purple one takes some sort of pole arm with incisors on it and goes for Ussur, but crosses afoul of the range of the mad, large dwarf [AoO for Hali]

Ishingka steps and swings with her hammer, aiming for the red orc.

Ishingka's hammer again makes a watermelon of the poor orc, causing an explosion of grisly proportions all over herself and Hali and poor Ussur.

Assuming the red and purple are both incapacitated.

Jag continues his approach, shouting "to me!" at Ussur. Ussur obliges, moving to swat at the (green) orc closest to Jag.

Ussur claws out the throat of the green orc and leaves him for dead!

Thael moves toward the action and casts another magic missile at the pink-clad orc as he watches the reinforcements come for the enemy.

"Let go of my friend!" Jag screams, skirting the grease to get to the orc with the bear-catcher, and attempts to cold-clock the orc.

Ishingka sees the two gigantic orcs and spits in fury. "Hali! Let's form a wall!" She moves up towards the orcs and does something never seen before; she barks out something in some gutteral arcane speech, waves a taloned hand, and her arms grow longer and whiplike, extending out a good five extra feet, still gripping her Lucerne hammer.

"Well, come on then," she growls at the enlarged orcs.

Hali growls out an agreement. With another blessing from his hammer, he strides forward in a blur. now under the effect of haste for the next 5 rounds, but with +2 AC and Reflex instead of just +1
