I'll just be keeping Skipper's the same they are on his sheet: Prot from Evil & Bless, and since Expd. Retreat is a domain spell it sticks with me anyway.
I'll also buy two flasks of holy water with the gold from the first chronicle sheet.
One other thing: Skipper would, again, start off the day by a prayer to Sinashakti. If the same characters are willing to accept the blessing as before, that would be Johendar, Azizi, and Kazuo, with Targ and Torgil declining. If either Targ or Torgil want it, just let me know; Skipper can include one more person in the blessing.

Regretfully I will retire from this game. I could come up with excuses of not having enough time and whatnot, but I have to speak my mind.
Call me spoiled (I'm a Weaver, after all) but this game hasn't really been what I expected, mainly because the minimal effort put in by the DM. In the beginning it looked good, but already half way through the first part it started to feel like the players are playing and the DM is just quickly copy pasting text from the adventure book. I understand it could be just lack of time, but whether that or lack of enthusiasm, if the effort is at this level, I'd rather not play at all.
So thanks for the time. You may NPC Torgil as you see fit as I won't be participating in any more PFS scenarios with him. If you need editing rights for his sheet, let me know your M-W username and I'll add it.

I hate to see you go but I understand. And truthfully it was just being bogged down by time with both things in real life and taking on way too many pbp games at once. I would like to see you stay since a lot of my games have concluded and since first steps is only good for another 3 months but if you still wish to drop out. I respect your decision.

I think Targ got overwhelmed with his Venture-Captain duties. I've sent him a couple PMs and he's never responded and he quit posting in another PbP I was in with him.

Let's hope Targ is still with us.
I second Torgil's concerns. There's been things where it's clear we're just going through the motions of the adventure and that DaWay isn't bothering to read terribly closely as to what we're doing-- Azizi had specified he was going to be looking for traps, for instance, but was never asked for or given a chance to detect the first one we hit.
Having run First Steps in the past, there was absolutely no explanation of things like why the other group at the end of the first part attacked us-- OOCLy, I know why, but it's like we're just blitzing through this to cross off the Chronicle sheet, and I hate when I get that vibe at a table, much less in a PBP game.
I'm not trying to be rude here, Daway; I'm a vet GM and I'm well aware it can be really time-consuming and sometimes you just over-extend yourself, it happens. I'm also willing to stay in the game because I like the characters and the chance for development (and, of course, I'd like to get Skipper to level 2), but it'd be nice to feel that we had your full attention with the game.
Anyway, hope you stay with us, Torgil, and hope Targ isn't gone permanently either.

I here your concerns and am doing what I can to correct this. Previously there were way to many pbp games on my plate. While I have learned my lesson and have learned what I can there is still a lot on my plate (more personal than anything else) I appreciate you're concern and will endeavour my best to correct the problem.

I appreciate that Torgil. Just so you all know I am going to try and push this through. I have a 2770 mile move coming in exactly one month I would like to get all of the first steps down for you guys so you aren't put in limbo during that time period, and you can use you're fresh level 2 characters in your local PFS games.

Good luck with the move, that's always super-chaotic.
And thank you for your willingness to accept critique gracefully, DaWay. Goes a long way in my book!

We're from Indiana and had our first child out in Seattle. Moved back to be near family. Overwhelmed at first with the first kid, though it didn't really help us too much to move back, just saved on six hour plane rides. Now we've moved again and are at least two and a half hours from family. I wish we would move back, but my wife likes to be driving distance from family.

I just received the personal trainer certification and will be working at a couple gyms out there. We have waited a year so that our family can be there for her first birthday but have always wanted to move there, so we figured what better time than now. The family can just get plane tickets to come from Virginia every once in a while. It will have to go from frequent short trips to longer infrequent once. Which I am fine with.

Not sure if that's all she wrote for Part 2, guys, but I think I'm.... probably going to be bowing out of Part 3. I made the mistake of tallying up my Pathfinder games the other day, and I'm currently in 9, three of which I GM. The halfling has bitten off more than can be chewn! Chewed?
Was a pleasure playing with y'all, I hope to see you around on the boards and maybe when I'm less busy, I'll find myself raising blades side by side with some of you again. And Skipper will have all these informative, free pamphlets on Sinashakti to pass out to your eager and receptive selves!
(Obviously, if there's more still happening in Part 2, I'm sticking around through the end of it. Just figured I'd give warning I won't be here for the third part of the module.)
