Kurag Urlot III |

Since Greta channeled can Kurag refrain from using 3 of the charges on the wand? 1 for each dwarf? Please let me know.
Kurag receives the news of the giant with grim determination. No one gets to the Hopespring. Till my dying breath if needs be. Come on then lets take out this giant.
Kurag checks his arrow supply quickly before heading off towards the Hopespring. On the way he wracks his brain to try and remember where the best place to arrive from to get the best firing lanes.

Bormann Grimm |

"A giant? Aye, we shall go fight a giant this day. May our prowess and determination impress even Gorum!" Bormann shouts as he heads off to confront the giant attacking Trunau, a dwarven war chant on his lips.
Bormann is so excited of the prospect of the giant fight that he doesn't even think to loot the grenadier bodies.

BB pulls out an alchemical lab hidden under the siege engine. "Huh, who left this here?" He pulls out a hidden cache of equipment.
As you are trying to find out how the seige engine works you find an alchemist’s lab leaning against the catapult, along with three bags of flash powder, six fuse grenades, two pellet grenades (one cold iron, one adamantine), and a tangleburn bag
"Lets go take down that giant. Heh, I've never seen one live before! Besides my sister, when she gets mad, haha."

DM RichD |

On the map of Trunau on the campaign tab you are at 'N', the Hopespring Beacon is 'M' and the Hopespring itself is 'O'.
You follow Kurag and Greta as they lead you to the Hopespring. As you come in sight of the Hopespring the stench of blood and smoke hangs thick in the air. In the darkness, the crackling of fires mingles with the war cries of orc raiders and the screams of townsfolk. The Hopespring beacon burns brightly, illuminating the pool at the bottom of the Hopespring’s waterfall as well as a rough hole gouged into the side of Bloodmarch Hill. Next to the hole, you see a curious sight. A large cave giant with each of his limbs chained and held by an orc. The orcs are busy shaking the chains, laughing and from their tone, taunting the giant.
They are so busy with their Giant-playing, they don't seem to notice you.
Everyone give me a surprise round action if you want. Let me know if you will not be taking it.
Tactical Map is Updated.

Kurag Urlot III |

The threat to the Hopespring was immediately apparent. The giant could tear down the spring denying the city fresh water. If a siege ever occurred then Trunau would be lost without fresh water. Not waiting for any semblance of a plan Kurag rushes forward 20 ft to set up a better round of attacks from across the water.

![]() |

BB's a quick study. Something about those orcs and their grunts sound familiar. He recognizes their speech and frowns.
"They're gonna set old Crusher upon the city. We gotta get close so he doesn't hurl rocks!"
BB grabs one of the grenades as he double moves forward.

RichD, I believe that is a miss thanks to dwarven defensive training giving a +4 dodge bonus to AC.
