Was at the hospital from about 0730 till about 1615. Home. reasonably awake, and medicated. The entire area over the hernia and belly button is under s bandage I'm not supposed to touch until Saturday, so all I know is I have some ugly looking injuries from where the laparoscopic entry points were on my left side. Not as limited in my movements this morning as I thought I would be, which is good. Abdominal muscles are a little tight, though. Don't think I can blame them. I figured they would be a LOT more mad than they seem to be.

I vote for Firinn because it’d make for a good story.
Or Irabeth. Because logically speaking none of us have any experience leading an army. Or really, any experience at all in military matters. Leading soldiers and using a weapon are two entirely different skills. Having our group be an elite team sent on PC missions would make the most logical sense.
I have precisely neither of these things - which is why I'd be really bad at it! :D Mechanically at least. It would be interesting fluff, but Irabeth makes much more sense as a commander.
Radiance is 4316 (16 for cold iron heavy mace, 300 for Masterwork, and 2000 for +1 enchantment and 2000 as cold iron has that cost added on for first enchantment)
Buying:
* Amulet of Natural Armor +1
* Belt of Strength +2
* Enchanting Plate +1
Gold:7319 - 2000 - 4000 - 1150 = 169
And that covers it! I figure that I can have +4 Shield AC for 6 minutes at a time via Shield, and +2 Deflection AC for 6 minutes at a time via Protection from Evil. So Natural Armor, Strength and regular AC are more important.
If so...
-Darksire Amulet (9000 gp)
-+1 Cold Iron Longspear (4310 gp), keeping the old non-magical one as backup
...leaving me with 14118 - 9000 - 4310 = 808 gp
What's the chance that I can get a quiver with a permanent abundant ammunition spell cast on it? It'd cost 4000gp according to the rules for creating magic items.
Magical bow will do the job. As long as I can load it with Cold Iron arrows I'm good. Then I just need a mundane quiver to hold special arrows for super demon slaying and stuff. :)

I think it would be faster for you to run it. As is, it would just be me rolling a few dice, right? For PbP it doesn’t seem fair for everyone to have to wait.
Ok I will do it win spoilers then as well, it will at times affect out comes on battles though just so people are aware.
I haven't had major swings in the 3 times I have done it yet but you never know.
@Khaz - Do you still want to remain the leader? There will be times that the Army is fighting the same time as the PCs are doing something. You will have to pick what you want to do at that time.

Given that you will do it via spoilers, it would make sense to have a seasoned commander in charge. With our PCs as an elite force for specific missions. Khaz could well be the group’s representative to the Paladins.
Something like Khaz as the overall leader of the expedition, with the paladarmy having its own commander for when Khaz isn't around, perhaps. That way we can give the army general orders and let them resolve the specifics on their own.
I would say scouting is done by the NPCs mainly Anieva and Aron since there really isn't much related to it. this next part is pretty on the rails. You can Firinn can do scouting as well and I can flavour it out.
It is written that way, bsically the Army (Yourselves included) have enough resources for 10 days.
Everyone has to carry their own rations and water since you cannot use survival in the World Wound based on the corruption of the place and the fact that everything even plants and water can kill you.
Your journey is about 4-5 days depending on how the Mass combat goes (should be fine). This leaves you 5 days to take the City of Drezen and then the Citadel.
Horgus will drop consumption to 3 a day which gives you an extra few days.
You will start out with 50 resources for the trip as that is all everyone can carry together. No wagons, no support staff, just your party, some NPCs and the Paladin Army.

So, how do you all want to deal with this?
I think for PbP the easiest way is for the GM to roll for the battle, while the PCs go into the tower. That way we get a PC encounter with a larger backdrop.

Hey. Real life.
I live in a 3 generation home.
This last weekend, both of the youngest generation (one is 2 the other just had her first birthday) got sick. So did their mom. Monday so did their dad. Somewhere in there, grandma got sick, too. Now I'm sick. At least the youngest seems to be over it.
If you need to bot me to keep things moving, please do.
I'm sorry, but I'm not even managing to focus to play spades on my phone right now, and that's amazingly brainless.

Traveling with family (cruise) and will be home next Sunday. Will post as I can, but please bot me as needed. Luckily as a Martial, doing so won’t be hard ;)
