Khaz doesn't see any danger, a door leads out to the west but the rubble would be difficult to open it in if that is the way it opened. A door to the north is a very find looking door indeed and you would assume it is locked.
Knowing he will not be able to cast in the room, Molos will wait outside while the party moves through the room. "I will stay here until the room is cleared."
Lorena seems to fade into the shadows as she enters the silenced room. She moves over carefully towards the figures, trying to get a better look at who or what exactly they may be.
"I don't like that. I'll try another way." Purple tells and then walks back to the room they came from and tries the door to get outside. If the yard is free of evil scum she moves to the side entrance to the room Khaz is in and tries to open that door.
Purple sees nothing in the court yard at this time, moving to the door Purple finds it unlocked but it swings in and knows the heavy debris on the inside will prevent her from pushing the door open.
Lorena moves in and up to the closest figure, see can tell both are humanoid in shape and appear to be breathing. Lorena pokes one of the blankets back and sees.
You see the face of Terry inside the wrap
”What the fook is this?” Khaz said in horror. ”What...how do we help them?”
Lorena starts in shock as the figure's face is revealed to be that of their missing comrade. Cautiously, she shakes him a little to see if he will have any reaction, aware that things may not quite be as they seem.
Molos will attempt to talk to Pink Ears if she has to double back past him.
As that door soesn't work she moves on to the next one. She checks carefully if the door is trapped and listens something is inside.
In the corner of her eye she notices Molos raising his finger and opening his mouth, but she is not sure if he wanted to talk to Jocasta our her. Would be totally awkward to turn and then not being meant.
Khaz doesn't notice what Lorena notices as the room is silent and any noise she makes he doesn't hear. Khaz pushes the door but it doesn't budge not does it explode out at him.
Purple finds this door locked as well, she can hear nothing inside but does hear something that sounds like flying coming towards her....
"F!*&, f+$&, f+#~! Open already!" she curses the door while she nervously looks around what is coming, and trying to unlock the door.
The sound gets closer as Purple fumbles at the door, her picks don't click where she wants them too and she keeps looking over her shoulder. Molos hears this as well and sees the panic in Purples actions....
Terry remains unconscious despite Loreana's attempts to wake him, she moves the blankets down and can see that it is actually him.
Molos hears Purple Ears and heads to her as fast as he can.
Jocasta sees Molos heading off to help Purple, and noting that Khaz is in an area of silence, she taps him on the back with the hilt of her sword and points toward the locked door, then moves over there and takes up a guard position, just in case.
Purple draws her bow and looks out what closes in on her position.
Purple can hear the flapping but is not sure where it is coming from exactly as the noise bounds off the walls around her. A sphere of pure darkness surrounds Purple cutting off line of sight to her.
Being completely out of his element, Khaz shouted an unheard warning and then ran towards the darkness, staring intently at it as he tried to figure out what was going on.
Oblivious to the danger outside, Lorena picks up Terry's motionless body and brings it towards the door. Setting him down just outside of the silenced zone, she notices something amiss and grabs her spear.
Lorena you would have 2 turns remaining.
The Black box is the Darkness.
This is the Darkness spell - This spell causes an object to radiate darkness out to a 20-foot radius. This darkness causes the illumination level in the area to drop one step, from bright light to normal light, from normal light to dim light, or from dim light to darkness. This spell has no effect in an area that is already dark. Creatures with light vulnerability or sensitivity take no penalties in normal light. All creatures gain concealment (20% miss chance) in dim light. All creatures gain total concealment (50% miss chance) in darkness. Creatures with darkvision can see in an area of dim light or darkness without penalty. Nonmagical sources of light, such as torches and lanterns, do not increase the light level in an area of darkness. Magical light sources only increase the light level in an area if they are of a higher spell level than darkness.
The already overcast day makes Purple almost impossible for Molos to see, Purple can see out fine with her Dark Vision though.
Using his darkvision, Molos peers into the darkness.
As there is nothing seen she is not interested in staying within the darkness. While running back to Molos she calls out "The bell! It was rang to call for someone!"
Once the darkness drops, Jocasta starts backing up carefully until she can see again.
Jocasta moves to the door as Purple makes a hasty retreat towards the safety? of the building with her new allies. The noise does not show itself at this time.
Khaz made a motion for everyone to group up together towards Jocasta, and moved to do so.
Molos moves closer to the others keeping Purple in sight.
Still cloaked in the shadows, Lorena moves up to the doorway where the others are. "Looks like we found Terry and probably Firinn in that room over there. But what's going on out there?"
The party groups up hoping to bring the enemy to them.
With the back to the wall, Purple waits for something to show.
After a lot of tense moments no further noise can be heard, nothing comes in the door and nothing seems to be flying about that you can see.
With everything relaxed, and the new companions also there Purple suggests "I will try to open the door. To avoid getting cornered inside."
She moves back to the door and tries again to unlock it.
"Be careful, we're dealing with some strong magic here." Lorena returns to the silenced room to drag out the other figure, presumably Firinn.
Purple gets the door open, she feels the lock click but doesn't hear it at all as the room she is in is silenced. The two bodies that of Terry and the Second remain on the floor where they were left.
"Well, now there is a second exit to that strange room." Purple tells, offering entrance for whoever wants to move in that way.
Purple sees into this room, there are 2 beds with chains on them. She could infer that they are meant to keep people there for torture or questioning.
Once the door opens, Purple shoulders her bow to help Lorena to get whoever that is out of that creepily silenced room.
Lorena points to Terry first, not sure who is under the other blanket right now. Terry is taken into the Kitchen, a table is cleared off and his body is put there so that people can look over him.
Mechanically Terry is at -1 HP and stable, despite all the movement you are unable to wake him.
Jocasta stands around like someone who has no ranks in Heal.
"He is dead Jim."
”Nay, he lives!” He prayed to Bolka to aid his comrade...
While the others look over Terry, Lorena goes back in to drag the other figure out.
