Sara prepares herself for the dance of battle, while Ilarien turns her deadly gaze on one of the brutes. With the witch barely able to see him, he seems unaffected by it.
The second thug moves closer to engage Isvindur. A cackling witch points at Isvindur and a coruscating ray springs from her hand, striking the magus. He can feel the strength leaving his body.

Finding himself surrounded and once again weakened, Svin tries to dodge backwards. His movements are clumsy, though, as he barks out a few power words in skald. (Assuming he’s still on his feet to do so) a spray of light and colors engulf the two fighting men.
Move two squares down/left (map updated), using Acro to try to avoid AoO’s.
Acro:1d20 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 - 2 = 2; sheesh.

If Svin is still standing, he’ll cast Color Spray, targeting both men. Will DC 14 for both.

Sorry Isvindur...I meant to give you a Fort save for half vs. that spell. Please roll.
Stonetree slams a fist into the first thug's jaw, knocking out a tooth and causing him to reel.
Isvindur rolls away from the second brute, exposing his flank for a minute, and the enemy reacts with a blow from his greatclub. Though powerful, it glances off the magus' armor.
Vibrant colors spray from his hand, catching the two thugs. With one spell, the magus alters the course of the battle, causing both men to collapse in a heap, blinded, stunned, and unconscious. Yeah, that will make this very short.

As the bodies hit the floor, Ilarien calls out, "Surrender is your less painful alternative. Or perhaps you should run away now." She makes a little shooing motion with her hands as she walks into the room. Single move; if one of the two moves within hex range, she'll hit them with misfortune.
Ansha hustles out into the room, quickly taking stock of the situation. Seeing two men unconscious, she looks around for any other opponents, then moves for cover behind a pillar near Isvindur.
Sara, her movements light and graceful, scans her opponents for weaknesses as she moves forward and stabs at the reeling brute that Stonetree attacked with her spear.

Chortles hurries in to the room and drops to a knee. He readies his new bow flexing it it to make sure the string holds its tension. He knocks an arrow and fires at the enemy in the back on the right.

The northman gives a cold smile as the two thugs hit the floor, and he turns his attention on the two remaining (and retreating) attackers. His long legs carry him swiftly across the room, closing on the nearer target. "And what is this prophecy that is worth dying for?"
He punctuates then question with a hack of his axe.

Thinking matters well in hand, Ilarien continues to advance, then invokes a bit of bad luck for the one in yellow (if it's still standing after Svin's attack). Misfortune hex; DC 14 Will to avoid.

Chorltes, thorougly disgusted, clubs the new bow in to the ground twice, hoping to beat it in to submission. He then grabs a new straighter arrow and lets it fly.
Stonetree moved quickly to the closest threat and decided that Ísvindur needed help punctuating his question. Stonetree lifted his foot swinging it around his distracted target and firmly planted it into his backside.
Sara blinks as she feels a wave of arcane energy wash over her, but she shrugs it off and assessing the situation, decides that Isvindur and Stonetree have the situation in hand. She glides over to the other side of the pillar and seeing his ready stance to attack, opts to hurl her spear at him instead
Isvindur barely dodges a blow as he engages the enemy with the mace, then deftly swings his axe, drawing blood. Chortles is unable to hit his target, given all his companions in the way and engaged in melee.
Stonetree lumbers closer, then clocks the same man Insvindur hit, probably breaking his nose and leaving him barely standing.
Sara's spear penetrates the witch's chest and exits about a foot on the other side, dropping her in mid-cackle about some prophecy.
With that, the remaining man raises his hands to surrender.
"You haven't stopped the Harbingers!" he spits. "Not by a long shot! The Book of One Thousand Whispers will be fulfilled...you will see!"
Combat over! That was quick!
After surviving the ambush, the Pathfinders are able to leave the Shrine of the Failed and deliver Eylysia’s cache to the Grand Lodge.
The crowd gathered around the Starstone Cathedral has disbanded, and many of the locals are still horrified following Sir Reinhart’s attempt to vault the chasm on horseback, which ended with a fall into oblivion.
Drandle Dreng personally thanks the group for their successful investigation, indicating his interest in their future careers as Pathfinders. Dreng assures them that they will receive further assignments soon.
Great job guys! Adventure concluded! I will get this reported and Chronicles sent out. ALSO, for my new players who just completed their third adventure, you are now level 2! Ding! Great job!
Looks like I have reporting info for everyone but Chortles. Could I get that, please (see first post in discussion).
Also, I'd like to get this reported for Game Day, and since we are on the final battle, I'll go ahead and roll Boons. I'll roll mine first, and we are looking for 1 or 20.

I think you roll a d6 for the boon type, and then it gets emailed to the player. That's how it worked with the one I got for a game in the first half of the gameday.
Sorry all, I was way more unavailable than anticipated over the holidays, and then I had a meeting all day at work getting back. I'll post again tomorrow, and I think we'll finish up this week!

I think I'm out for another, unless you're going to delay it until after the new years. I've got just enough games, and i'll have spotty availability over the Christmas break.
If after that, though, you have room for Svin, I'm all for it.

I've played it with a first level character once already, but I believe it's an evergreen. However, this is not the party I'd choose to take--we have only one character with darkvision, and that will make for an extremely frustrating game for most of us.
ETA: I've got a L2.2 tiefling zen archer who could play. That might tip the balance the other way, though--he's got darkvision and a pretty decent ranged attack.

I'd not be opposed to doing an Evergreen Module, but I'm not really interested in that one. I've played it before, and it's pretty specific (in terms of what you get for playing it).
Thanks for the chronicles GM! Oo, emerald spires! Can I join? Will bring Sara again, although I might reconfigure her into a straight fighter instead. Still deciding. Either that or might bring a half-orc paladin to join the party
