How does everyone feel about low vs. high tier? So far we have Warpriest 6 and Sorcerer 3. My PCs are all low tier.

Any tier is fine wth me. My lowest in tier PCs are all level 6, though.

I’m bending the Model Pathfinder Agent boon a little on my -1 and letting it apply to each of you…

Pick two of the following three mods and apply to your PCs for the length of this scenario:

+1 bonus to AC
+1 bonus on all saving throws
+1 hp per level (3 for each of you)

Normally it’s one, but since Piotr & Grazyra are both 3-levels above you in a high tier scenario, I’m allowing 2…hopefully this will help a little…

Thank you! I'll take the saving throws and HP. (Bumping up to AC 14 isn't likely to ever save me.)

I'm gonna get that +1 on all saving throws. He currently has AC15 and can boost it to 18. He's going to make a point of avoiding direct confrontation so spell effects might be more of a problem for him.

You get to pick another as well, Lanel; either 3 more hp or +1 AC…

Just an FYI, I’ll be on the road almost all day tomorrow, so might not be able to post after today till Friday…

Uh, sorry guys and gals, I made a faux pas in an earlier post; this scenario is written up in a way I’m not used to, and what I thought it was saying, I took out of order. When you arrived at the warehouse, all you saw was the Lord’s wagon arriving and the paintings delivered, you did not see the Lord’s unveiling and reception ceremony, so scratch that…

I’ll move us forward tomorrow, but it may be in the evening; got a full day, doctor appointment, two meetings at work, and a dinner engagement…

You can go back and check the Nobility spoilers towards the top of page 2 in the Gameplay thread as they were all revealed…there are some things you might be able to use there…

I know y’all mentioned wanting to do all the missions, and we will, but I’d like to do the ones that involve the party first. I think this one concerned Piotr’s faction and the other Gnagnatsu’s faction…is that right?

If so, we have the Professor and Hellebore in the same faction and then Lanel’s faction before doing the others, if I’m reading things right…

Gnagnatsu is Exchange, so combination Qadira and Sczanri.

Hellebore crouches down to minimize her vulnerability. "I don't think torches will help, if it's magical darkness. Why didn't I learn daylight when I had the chance?"

"Nonmagical sources of light, such as torches and lanterns, do not increase the light level in an area of darkness." from the darkness spell description

Ah, I had only read the Deeper Darkness spell description, not the Darkness spell description. Well, perhaps this will be a learning experience for the Professor. Feel free to rub it in. ;)

Yeah, that’s what I was looking into…seems there’s been an argument for a while about that…if I read things right, if torches are lit before the spell, it lowers the light by two steps (to just normal darkness where darkvision is viable) but if it’s the other way round, it doesn’t work that way…

Like I said though, I suck at magic…and don’t forget the shards reflect the owb even in the dark…

I’ll start initiative with a post shortly…

;) I couldn't remember if it helped or not. What you say about "before darkness" vs. "after darkness" also makes sense. Gotta think about that in some of my other games.
