Goulfvrim Knile |
1d6 ⇒ 3
You are sound asleep when you are all awakened by the sound of Too Arms! Those of you with dark vision can see that there are tribal elves fighting Goulfvrim and shooting arrows into the camp.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 Goulfvrim
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Tribal Elves
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Gyasi

Gyasi 8
Goulfvrim 7 (in melee with an elf)
Kimiko |

Kimiko wakens to the sounds of battle, and leaps to her feet grabbing her crossbow as she does so.
Ander Tarvenio |
init 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Waking up suddenly for the yell and seeing nothing but darkness around. Rolling on the ground and trying to grab his crossbow while trying desperately see around him for friendly faces
lying in ground = +4 AC vs ranged. -4 AC vs melee
how dark it is? Dim-light due to moon or total darkness?
Goulfvrim Knile |
Kimiko 24 -Ready with crossbow
Tribal Elves- 18
Ander 8- prone w/crossbow
Meria 9 stands w/whip
There is some light from the moon, and a small fire that has burned down to coals at this point. If you are a human you can make out Goulfvrim fighting a humanoid in camp. Low light you can tell its an elf and see some figures just outside of camp.
Kimiko |
are we ready to start or still waiting for one more init to be rolled?
Brakkart Delmadhi |
initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Waking to darkness, Brakkart fumbles around to find his family scimitar as he pushes himself upright.
As the priest draws his weapon, he calls upon Sarenrae's holy blessing to fill it's black length with a holy light, and a soft golden glow illuminates the camp like the first rays of morning.
Move action to stand while drawing the scimitar, Standard to cast light.
Kimiko |
ah... i thought we were missing someone
With the light from Brakkart, Kimiko fires at one of the attacking elves, then moves up thirty-five feet closer to the one she hit.
to hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Ander Tarvenio |
Seeing the elves and shaking his head as they keep shooting Ander aims at the one attacking Goulfvrim and shoots while yells to the darkness
Attack [crossbow]1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 5 - 4 = 3 damage 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 shooting melee -4, prone = able to attack with crossbow
We are not enemies! We are not orcs as you have mistaken! If not... I am afraid that we do have to respond back in a same way
Kimiko |
Kimiko, hearing the elves speak about attacking 'the orcs' opens her mouth to answer, when Ander says essentially what she was going to... instead, she is simply silent, awaiting their reply. Perhaps hearing their own language spoken back to them might end the fight without further bloodshed.
Nimon |
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 Ander's diplomacy
the Elf in melee with Goulfvrim parry's his attack but holds up one of his hands making a fist, the arrows stop raining into camp, and he says in broken common My mistaken. You are orctype, but not those with you. We thought all orcs that attacked our home. Please forgive and we will leave you. Beware Rotskin clan can be near. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Elf's diplomacy. He seems truthful, but anxious.
Ander Tarvenio |
Seeing that the others are up and the rain of arrows stopped Ander stands up slowly and keeps speaking
Pausing for a moment before continuing as you can see, were are just traveling through this place and not meaning any harm but suddenly attacking us like that... well... what can we expect
As he speaks and ends Ander immediately transfer what he had said to others you may look on my spoilers if you didnt do so before :P slowly so the elf could also understand
Meria Meridoath |
Meria leans over and whispers to the others. "Perhaps we could temporarily ally ourselves with these elves against their foes. If successful, they may help us evade our own pursuit, or provide a distraction for us to flee if needed."
Kimiko |
sorry for not posting anything... the thread wasn't updating for me and I thought no one was posting...
Seeing that the others are conversing in whispers, Kimiko does the same. "Does it matter in the long run who the aggressors are? It is not our fight, unless it is forced upon us."
Ander Tarvenio |
]Well, at any rate we have to keep moving forward. I have no idea how long it would take for us to even handle this situation and who knows where this Rotskin clan is located Ander whispers but keeps his eye on the elf he is able to see
ElvenWhy does the Rotskin clan attack your village or your people? Is there a reason for this kind of robbery or pillaging? Why do you seem so anxious about this? Did something happen recently in these parts? Diplomacy 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
