Generic post to all games: I've been ill the last couple of days. Fever and Headache, and no real interest in any activity that includes, as the name implies, being active, as opposed to passively enduring.
I do feel a bit better today, but not good enough to return to work. As such, I expect that over the next 16 or so hours I will get to post/update in most(maybe not all - dunno how I'll feel later) of my games. This is as much an Aviso as a notification, though, as depending on how I will feel in the next few days(and after returning to work), post rate may be...slow. Where applicable, feel free to bot - (just to be clear: "botting me" is not applicable when I'm GM.)

Once we clear through these last two "side sessions" we will move along to the next day.
Hopefully that will be no later than Saturday.
If Lia is still has not posted by then I will assume her to be unwell and fade that scene to black leaving you all to wonder did she or didn't she? :-)

Hey, pardon the intrusion. I'm the one who ran the original recruitment (which became table 1), and I just wanted to say how glad I am that your table is going strong. Our game has developed very differently than yours but, surprisingly, we're at about the same place in the AP right now.
Well, happy gaming!

Well, we are an amalgamation of tables 2 and 3, but I know I'm having a blast in this game. Thanks for kicking the idea up and letting us run with it!

I've been reading both threads from the beginning and it's been very interesting to see each campaign develop. They have very different feels to them. The concept, starting point, and chain of events are the same in each, but the flavors of the parties are wildly divergent, like each party somehow came to implicit agreements about writing style and tone,
Thanks for a great idea Nate, and thanks for great execution DMD!

huh... when you asked to roll for Gather information... I think you may be a few game system editions off there :P To scour town and find someplace to live, erm... I'll venture a guess to roll both Knowledge Local & Diplomacy and let you decide what you want out of that.
Hah, yeah I run a 3.5 game so sometimes I get rules mixed up. I do the same thing in my Vampire game V20 and 2ed are so similar sometimes I forget what I am running!

In general you can certainly resupply with the Garrison for free today as you have been "deputized".

I am sure they do.
Thieves' tools? Maybe in the evidence chest though rumor has it that chest is a mimic to keep anyone not the Sheriff from reaching in it for contraband! :-)

Yes, Windsight wants a longbow - it'd notably advance his archery damage. However, even if they have a composite longbow of his pull strength (+2) he isn't going to just take it; that'd definitely be wrong, as it doesn't belong to him. I can see him taking arrows to use, but then returning the unused ones later ... ;)

But Windsight doesn't have to take a longbow, he can issue himself one, or have one of the town watch do it. Returnable at the end of shift or service, as best he sees fit. We're already unpaid deputies or whatever so that doesn't seem too much to ask.
Rojava's certainly going to issue herself a shortbow when she can make it over there.

How does this sound to everyone for the sake of time and update economy? It looks like we will be forcing a door, and it would be better not to attract a bunch of attention. Could we just agree that we'll take a quick look around the back of the Glassworks to see if there are less visible doors? We will then force the most out of sight door, and default back to breaking through the front door if there are no others? It would cut down on some posts back and forth before getting us inside.

I like this plan. Gwyddym is far from an expert in breaching structures. He'll be following along with the group, and looking out to make sure no one is sneaking up on us. :) Of all the times I wish I was a rogue. ;)

Ro could pick the lock if she had proper tools, but without them I'm not so sure. Taking 20 would be an option (I think, depends on whether it's a penalty for failure situation) and make it likely to work, but I couldn't guarantee it would be a sure thing. I doubt anyone really wants to stand around and see.

Who wields Angelo.
There's Windows.
It's a Glassworks.
If we need an entrance, there is one, and if they need to fix it up again afterwards, they can do so right in the factory.
*shrug*
Of course, we could also go to the Kaijitsu Manor and ask their father for a Key/what's going on. We ARE deputi-fied right now, so despite his dislike, he can't really dismiss us.

Eventually, though, she says something to him that makes him takes his hands out from behind his back, and actually wrap his fingers around the bow's grip.
And so it is how the devil will always work his way with those who hold law above all other things. Heh heh heh.
