i'm really excited for this character (and specifically for having him in this AP), and this seems like a very solid group, so i'm definitely going to stick around to see if cctodd comes back or if we can find a new GM (starting next tuesday?)... is anyone else thinking they might bail or are we pretty much all on the same page?

I plan to stick around, but it just seems like this is some kind of joke. We really didn't get to our first combat which is relatively early in the game.

Hell, you can just start this AP with combat to be honest lol. Though pre combat tends to be entertaining. I have this AP (which you can probably tell on my GM alias), so if it's absolutely necessary, then I can run some of it until we get someone to actually run it. However, much like Baldric, I specifically made this character for this AP just because I want to see how this character could change and would become.

I remade this character with the AP in mind and she's really tied to it or Shattered Star.

sooo... are we thinking we're gonna start trying to recruit a new GM tomorrow? or waiting for thursday? we still haven't really heard from several people about whether or not they'd stick around... that might make a pretty big difference (a full party looking for a GM might be more appealing, and would certainly be more manageable, than 3 people looking for a GM and 2 or 3 more party members...)

A GM posted on the recruitment thread. He seems cool with me. What do you all think?

I'm game. He's obviously committed to the boards, so I expect him to be a regular staple here and more importantly good with communication when he's not able to be regular.

I vote yes and we keep the momentum alive.

I agree with Zwain- long history on the boards, good communicator, invested enough in the game to have been part of the RPG Superstar competition... I vote yes also.

Looks good to me. Should we start a new thread with him or would he just inherit this one? I'm down for either considering we've barely done a thing lol.

Personally, I'd ask him which he prefers. We should probably at least wait for Rhiannon to chime in though... I don't remember if Travok ever said whether or not he was gonna stick around- should we maybe PM him an see?

The guy seems pretty good to me. I guess I should be wary of anyone who comes onto the boards and immediately tries to run a game like that in the future with no posting history. It must happen here all of the time though,.

Like was suggested, we should ask him if he wants to start a new thread altogether or take over this one.

Greetings Adventures! I am sorry to see that your thread stalled, but am excited that you didn't give up and you sought out a new GM. Thanks for allowing me to build upon the wonderful story you have already started telling. I just posted the following in the DM Recruiting thread Baldric started:

I think it will be best from my perspective to start a new thread with me as the DM. In the initial post I will link the original start thread so that it will be easy for anyone to go back and find. I'm not going to REBOOT and start over...you all have already done a wonderful job of building the party together some and have established some great role-play that I want to build upon. I am DM that enjoy's collaborative working with the PC's so I am inspired to build on Vhik's visit to the brothel and Satinder's interactions with Amekio. Reading what you hav already done is what encouraged me to go ahead and offer to be the DM. I will get an OOC thread started for everyone to check in on while I get the Game thread OP going. You might need to give me a day (or two) to do it justice...so please be patient while I work on it, I know you are all eager to get going and I am too, so I will get on it as fast as I can.
