Wising everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Well Christmas is upon us, and with that I know some folks will be traveling.
I try to keep the game going over winter break, if people want it to.

Willing to keep going. My posting rate will probably drop.

I'll be around. Would love to get things moving again but things have gotten so slow that we seem to have lost momentum.

I'm here and I usually check daily, so I'm good to go. I also will take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Sunday (fortunately, as it turned out) two of or RotRL players called off, so we were in our 2nd floor computer room, playing a back-up game. I was getting over a bout of that nasty flu going around, and was still a bit stuffed. My daughter kept saying she smelled something odd, but I couldn't smell anything til much later. When I did finally start smelling it around 3, I checked the basement to see if the furnace was off...it wasn't, so I didn't think much of it. Around 5, though the CO monitor went off - at the get out or die level. We popped all the windows and doors, grabbed the cat and her carrier and did so. The monitor showed over 80ppm. Hubby cut the furnace off and called the installers. After first trying to blame the hot water heater, they checked the furnace and the flue was completely blocked with soot. We spend Sunday night without heat (after the fumes cleared out of the house) then Monday was spent calling the installer regularly until their BEST tech showed up with a crew at 3PM and installed an 'expeller' to vent the flue outside, since the trouble seemed to be always based around our 100 year old chimney.

We're alive, we have heat, we have no further CO build-up, and -hopefully- I'm back to regular posting.

Good Story. Now everyone, do as you're told. I have electric heat and still have a CO detector. Its cheap and easy to get and install one. The just plug in.

I will be traveling for the next week. I hope to have internet in the mornings and evenings, but no promises. Please bot me if needed.

No problems, as I've gotten loaded down with some work and homework.

I am traveling to a small con where I will help run Pathfinder this weekend. Leaving tomorrow afternoon and will be gone through late Sunday. Wanted to give a heads up.

Sorry but I am close to giving up here. The slow pace (at least partly my fault) makes a complex set of events harder to remember. I have no idea what to do and hardly remember why we are here. I think the premise was good, but there is too little direction and no clear path forward. I guess I am done posting to order food and drinks and make small talk. We need a major boost forward or we need to call this one.

I'll be under load for about another 6 weeks, so I'll keep trying to keep going.
Might a every other day post.

I think I'll call the game as I'm having no where near the time and or energy I should be putting into it. That and it's more open order natural does not help in keeping the game going and flowing.

That's Ok, AZ. You'd think a group of GMs would be better at puzzles, though.

Yea, thanks for giving it a try AZ. Sandboxes do not work well in PBP in my experience. This one never really got off the ground.
