I was thinking in the heat of the moment of running to the business and pounding on the door to get good ammo. Either pay then or pay in the morning after things have settled. If I don't know the town well enough to pinpoint a location I won't bother.

H*ck. Does that include the healing from Theren?


I will double-check when I have time, but I think Jack should actually be at -1 after the LoH. I remember looking at his current HPs when the hell hound bit and I had 21 before that damage in my mind.

Also, Theren would have acted after the damage was dealt, so Jack is at least stable, regardless of the exact total.

The initial four was back at the Blissful Badger, then 14 with the hell hound bite, 11 hell hound fire breath, then three back from Theren. So I was close. Jack should be at -2 and stable. And I bet you thought the paladin was going to end up being the tank. I did, lol.

Vegazi's big reveal got buried by the group bonding with Jack lol. She would be glad for that.

I will have a substantial post up as soon as I can (hopefully later today) because for practical purposes the threat is over. There are a few loose lemures roaming down here but now that Ogash has been neutralized, they aren't worth dipping into combat. If I can't get that up today it might be a few days, but I will try to get it up later.

I am going to repeat that loot the priest gave the party here because, OMG I did not intend to post such a massive wall of text and really I should have broken that up into two posts but I want to keep it rolling:

Inside the chest are 5 potions of cure light wounds, one divine scroll of remove curse, and a periapt of protection from curses. Radan identifies and explains each item fully.

Everyone also gains a +3 to their relationship score with Vegazi and town NPCs have their attitudes shifted positively by one step as a result of their time helping the town in the aftermath.

Experience Gained: 100/each.

I know it isn't much, but that is a result of the relationship score with Vegazi reaching friendship level officially for the party and I did not want to forget about it!

Theren failed at advising in defending the town against orcs when that was literally his job in his previous life lol.

Speaking of Vegazi, she is more than willing to join everyone in helping to bring some of the homesteaders back to town. Or, she can be convinced to remain behind if that is the preferred option.

I have changed the map page to the borderlands around the town itself. Thanks to Jerem's maps (the guy who was hiding in the crypt) and Shaw's directions, the exact locations of each homestead (D1-D6) are known. Sadly, I couldn't find an unlabeled version of that map, so a few things remain blacked out. As it says on the map, it takes 1 hour to travel 2 squares (or 3 squares if mounted). I am not assuming that the group is buying horses, but I did put a horse on the map to represent them! There is also going to be a little spoiler post in GP, just ignore it. It's for, y'know, stuff.

As of the time you meet with Scoutmaster Shaw, you still have a full 8 hours of travel time (this includes time to visit the market on the way out of town as needed). Realistically, it'd probably actually be half a day, but let's keep it smooth.

She received 200 of the reward we received in the beginning. It was 1200, we all got 200 so the sixth share went to her. Should be more than enough to buy arrows, even silver ones.

I've updated the loot list. What was our wand of Cure Light Wounds status? Did we have one, and if not can we purchase one in town?

Theren wears medium armor, as does Jack, so I expect they're both interested in the magic breastplate. Theren will get spellcasting next level, so some wands/scrolls may or may not be interesting to him. The periapt of protection from curses looks very strong if we come up against curses. Theren has excellent saves so he's probably not the best candidate for it.

Did we want to keep the funerary items from the crypt? Seems a bit rude to take those things.

I am truly ambivalent about Vegazi on my end. The pace of things makes it possible for me to add her in without much issue.

Were we able to identify any of the loots we found? I think Niccan has been making rolls as things have been found. Is there anything in the loots we definitively don't want that can be marked for selling? I doubt anyone wants to use the double-axe, but maybe Vegazi would want it?

The second instance is an Oops! Because he rolled ahead of time I missed it when double-checking lol.

The 2 potions are both CLW. The other potion is an oil of magic weapon. The spiked breastplate is a +1.
