Description:

Tarasi stands about 5'6" tall and weighs about 135 lb.

She has copper-red hair, golden eyes, and bronze skin.

She usually wears a sari of a deep green with gold, silver, and copper trim.

Backstory:

Bandits. Everyone said they were just bandits. Well trained, well-armed, well-armored bandits that completely destroyed that small border town (really no more than a village) Andoran claimed and Cheliax disputed.

Tarasi's family were part of a circus, who had just happened to be there when the assault occurred. When the dust settled and the smoke cleared, only a tenth of the population remained – and the same for the small circus. Tarasi lost her mother [Noria] and her little brother [ that day. And, after a fashion, her father [Rauno Pynos] as well. He had lost his wife, his son, and his arm, defending the wagons. Her mother had been a Chelaxian peasant woman, who had run away with the charming half-Varisian, half-Garundi young man on the flying trapeze. He had loved her, too. Her death sent him into a spiral of grief that was, to some extent, played out against Tarasi. He did remarry...the daughter of the deceased owner of the circus. The Circus continued, with Rauno as the ringmaster. Eventually, he had two more children [Emyralda and Daiden] and began to ignore Tarasi. When, after a performance in Almas, Tarasi's developing witchly ablities began to surface, he gladly left her with a retired member of the circus for training.

Since then Tarasi has been training and wandering Almas. She loves Andoran as if the nation was her family and has only two spotty events in her past. The first was what led to the discovery of her power: the theft of a small black kitten from a merchant. She later said that Buster had called her and needed saved. She was then (and still is now) convinced that the merchant intended to sell the animals for sacrifice.

The second incident was - more disturbing. She had only a few close friends, and only one who was (she hoped) in any way important: Jebrin Vancil. The son of a merchant (not that one) who always hung around the circus when it laid over during the winter, he quicy became important to Tarasi. When she discovered that he was actually a Chelaxian spy, she secretly reported him, and has never seen him again. She has no idea what became of him, and sometimes secretly regrets what she had to do. Seh has also become more closed-in, more private, as she fears having to once again find her friends are not what the seem.

Since that event, she has tried to make up for any harm she might have caused by associating with him with her healing and some degree of adventuring.
