GM Rutseg |
I am proposing you a new PFS scenario in Normal Campaign for the Gameday 4 (Gameday's are online events, you do not need to register anywhere, just answer the recruitment as usual).
The chosen adventure will be #4-23: Rivalry's End. The Pathfinder Society's conflict with the Aspis Consortium in the frontier region of Varisia has come to a head, and the time to secure dominance of the ancient land is now. But despite mounting victories on the Society's part, the Aspis Consortium still has a few tricks up its sleeves, including several powerful agents from the Pathfinders' past who could prove too challenging an obstacle to surmount. Can the PCs end the ongoing struggle for control of the flow of ancient Thassilonian artifacts out of Varisia's ports, or will the Aspis Consortium succeed in keeping the Pathfinder Society ever in its shadow as it profits on the exploitation of the millennia?

What I will be expecting?
Character builds: Whatever fitting PFS rules. You can propose up to two characters suited for a lower and a higher tier (for example a level 4 and a level 6).
Posting frequency: 2 times per day
Playing style: Fast pace with capacity to RP (I want fluid combats with characters that have paid a minimum observance to a background and make an effort for party interaction). I have preference for players that make an effort to perform their characters, rather than just stats beasts. That said, I like the strategy layer of combat, and will help you out if you have difficulties with the rules on that sense.
Timespan: The game will take around 3 and 6 weeks to complete, depending on players responsiveness.
Party size: 5 or 6 players
Pregens: I will accept pregens, but will give priority to other characters.
GMing style: I make passive rolls, as Perception, Initiative or Saves. GM bots and delays if only one player is missing to act will be frequent.
Mapping tools: You are expected to have access to view (and preferably edit) Google Slides maps.
Player responsiveness: I expect you to have initiative as a player, pushing the game to explore and interact, not just reacting to the GM initiative rolling and direct questions for what is next.
Just provide a couple ideas of possible characters you would like to play with (class, race and level are enough). I will check your previous gaming experience and take into account party balance when selecting who is going in.
People who has GMed me (past or present) will have priority. I will reserve at least 1 spot for someone with little or no previous PbP experience, so take this as a great opportunity to get experience in PbP roleplaying.
The game will start at Gameday 4 kick-off, 19th of September.
Good luck everybody!

If he is level 5 he would also be good to play. I would prefer to run with classes no newer than the Advanced Class Guide though, and might give priority to others if the game fills out.
I have no problems with pregens PJP as long as you care about the missions being a success. It will be great though if you hit the 3 ;)
Still looking for Pathfinders.

Let's recap, I will distinguish those of you who has provided a character link.
- Characters
- Unnvar, half-orc slayer 5/hunter 1 (can you provide a full sheet in your profile, please? thanks :D)
- Archer, human bloodrager 4
- Other interested players
- PJP, pregen 4 or 7
- JakBlitz, Vigilante 4 (perhaps 6)
- Gayel, ranger 3 (or cleric 5-6)
There are still 3 weeks remaining, I will probably do not push a lot the recruitment thread until the last week, so do not fear disappearance if this remains a bit inactive.
Archibald the Addlebrained |
I've been trying to find a home for my 7th level Transmuter for some time. He's a lot of fun to roleplay but in a bit of an awkward level range. Most PbPs seem to crop up as Core or Low Level games and I'm hesitant to switch to the core rules.
I've also got a Fighter 2/Paladin 1 I could dust off but nothing else in that level range, but it's Archibald I really want to be playing. Keep me posted if a slot opens up! :)

Farg |
Farg would be available for a higher tier. He's in agame right now but we're in the final combat and the GM was sure we'd be finished by the 19th. Should Farg not be able to make it I have a level 5 druid who could step in.
For a lower tier I have a second level character I'm currently working on. He looks to be an inquisitor with a bow.

It seems we are going for Tier 6-7 with 6 players. I will make the final decision of who goes in during the week.
Kleetus@ it is good to have new people around, as long as you are able to post once per day and do not disappear once you see the slow pace of PbP gaming, we will be ok.
