A small painting of a female dwarf.
A small sack of coins (25 gold, 18 silver, 48 copper).
A gun cleaning kit.
A thumb sized ruby (about 50 gp).

Connor stuffed the bullets, coins, and ruby into a sack from his backpack. The black powder would be too heavy, unless they could heal Alister. (I don't think we've searched the dwarf and the rogues yet. Each gun is probably the most valuable item they have.)

"Nothing in here but the dwarf's stuff. You guys find anything important?" Connor called out to Reaghar in the main room.

A stuffed and mounted wyrmling's head (blue).
A pipe, a small tin of tobacco, and a flint and steel (on table next to scotch). The pipe is lit.

Ok, so, Reaghar searched a room, as did Sammark, and Elrohir. Connor is still methodically searching his room.

Selvan and Alys talked, as Alys woke up, recovered, and are standing and discussing health/etc.

Other than Connor, you may now search another room if you choose to. We'll assume all that took about 2-3 minutes. Don't want all the searches to take a week or two. But want to give people time to post as well.

Currently unsearched :

Hall Guard
Rogue 3
Rogue 1
Guard 1 (landing deck hallway)
Guard 2 (between dwarf and Rogue 1)
Room 1
Room 2 (both north of Connor)
Rooms 5, 6, 7, and 10 (row of rooms on the south side).
Various crates that are nailed shut.

After this round of searches, Connor will realize his methodical search of the dwarf's room is a waste of time, as there's just nothing else there.

I assume you mean the Hall Guard and Rogue 3? Rogue 1 is inside, near room 1.

Selvan starts searching Rogue 3 (the closest).

It's possible, albeit unlikely. Not to mention healing a guy at -11 hp 3hp at a time might be a little on the frustrating side.

That's only 4 tattoo's, that's 8 rounds, a little over 1 minute. It's taking about 1 to 2 minutes to search each room, so not that long.

Not long, certainly, but rather expensive. As well, each round is 6 seconds, meaning it's actually a little under a minute.

Yep, I was, for some odd reason, thinking there was 12 rounds, rather than 8, on the last comment.

Alys, after searching the room for several minutes, finds...

There is also something odd about the floor in here. It's extremely solid. No give at all. Thumping it with her knuckles, there's no hollow sound, as if there was nothing but more wood under the wood of the floor, whereas the hallway gives a dull 'thump' of hollowness.

Also, the floor near the entryway has some odd dents and scrape marks, and even a couple of gouges.

Reaghar finds nothing in the dragon's head, and no switches or levers.

Stepping across the hall, he finds the privy. There's a chamber pot (half full) in one corner, and a brass contraption hanging from the ceiling with a chain and lever hanging down. The floor contains a black painted metal tray that angles toward the wall, and there's a small hole in the wall about a quarter inch high and a foot long with the metal sticking into it.

Other than that, the room is empty.

Alys : You pull up 2 boards, and find there's nothing under them but more wood. It appears someone has done some major modifications to the floor, replacing empty space with additional structural members. The entire floor in the room you are in appears to have been heavily reinforced and braced, as if to hold much heavier weights than normal.

Ok, at this point, we'll go non-combat completely. It's been about 15 minutes since the gunfight stopped. You can all continue searching and researching if you want. There are two bodies and a dozen crates unopened. You can also RP with each other.

If anyone is going to re-search somewhere someone else already searched, let me know what you're searching and make a roll. Each re-search will take about 2-3 minutes.

Connor left the middle room and stepped over the dead guard on the floor. Thinking better of it, he searched the guard. (Guard 2)
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 "Redeye and Newbie." he called out. "So far no healing, just firearms and common stuff. If Kol was dealing in magic items, where's his stash?"

Connor concentrated on the link in his head to his psicrystal. Let's have you work as well. he sent. Pull anything valuable off of that dead lookout on the ledge and pile it up for us.

Maybe we could take this place and make it our headquarters. Connor thought idly as he searched the dead man's pockets. Nah. If Kol couldn't defend it with firearms, we wouldn't fare much better. This place is reinforced but not defensible enough. he concluded.

(Psicrystals have a Str of 1 and a Dex of 15, but in his last search of the guard on the ledge Connor would have at least loosened the searched items. Hero can put them as a pile at the man's feet.)

Hero scuttles off, and begins to tug on the things Connor found earlier.

As Connor searches Guard 2, he finds...

1 pair of leather boots with boot blade
1 tattoo on his belly, slowly fading
1 set of Leather Lamallar.

NOTE! I forgot to list it earlier, but each of the corpses has Leather Lamallar, except Kol, who has the armor I listed earlier for him.

Connor shouted "Check the guards for psionic tattoos! I just found one of Natural Healing!" He placed a palm on the dead man's skin, willing the ink to leave the human's body and attach itself to his hand. That's one for Alister. Connor thought to himself.

Connor moved to the next human, not recalling the dwarf's body, nor the guard on the ledge, having such a tattoo. (You already stated on Rogue 1, but Connor doesn't know that yet.) Perception check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15, Intelligence: Identifying Psionic Tattoos check (DC 13): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

I'll point out, that you didn't strip the guards earlier. Having found two on stomachs, you realize you didn't undo the armor of the others to look. Translation : You didn't roll good enough earlier to notice the hidden tattoo's (DC 18).

Connor now has 2 Natural Healing tattoo's.

What will Reaghar use to open the crates? I ask because Alys has not told anyone she found hammers and crowbars. Until she shares with others, you'll need to come up with things to use.

(Ok, I'm confused at Reaghar's location and there not being any crates in his room, the white-bed-fur-room.)

Now with 2 psionic tattoos of Natural Healing on his hand, Connor looked up in surprise. Reaghar using telepathy? Connor got up and addressed Elrohir but loud enough for Reaghar to hear him as well. "Ok, we need a crowbar or a hammer for these crates. Anybody find a crowbar?"

The humavian walked around the main room, looking at the side rooms. Counterclockwise, it was: storage room with Elrohir, human guard bedroom, dwarf guard bedroom, bedroom with Reaghar... Connor saw the caustic half-elf in a room, followed by a room that smelled like a jakes, and then Connor heard quite a racket from the southeastern-most room. He looked through the doorway, and saw the female elfavian ripping up the floorboards.

Connor paused, his face showing anger. Then Connor remembered Alister still lying on the ledge walkway, and swallowed his McIntyre pride. It took a monumental effort on his part. He calmed down, and looked inside the room again, noticing the crowbar the woman was now using on the crates in the room.

Stepping up behind the elfavain, Connor cleared his throat, saying "If you're done with that crowbar, my compatriots have found some crates that need searching."

Alys can open the first box, although it's not easy, she has to climb on top of the bed to get to it. It's been nailed down hard, and there's a layer of dust on top of it. After she sweats for about 5 or 6 minutes, she finally gets the lid off. The crate is odd, it's heavily reinforced, with metal slats and spacers inside. There's also small boxes inside, opening up a box she finds lead ingots. No wonder the crate is heavy as sin. The entire crate is a heavily reinforced steel and wood crate holding a dozen boxes of lead ingots. There's about a cubic foot of lead inside the crate, the rest is steel slats and wood reinforcement.

Reaghar never moves himself, I'm not sure if he can't, some people have trouble with Google Draw depending on what they are using to access it. I've been moving him around up until now, but I don't know where he wanted to go, as there's multiple places he could go.

"I'm still looking for healing magic." Connor replied, taking the metal bar. "But all we've found so far looks like normal firearm business material."

Connor walked back to the room Elrohir was waiting at. "Here." he said, handing over the crowbar. "We appear to have two elfavians and a half-elf who also had a problem with Kol the magic-dealer. All they have found so far is firearms, however." Connor held up his hand with the psionic tattoos. "I found these on the guards." Connor told Elrohir. "I'm going to see if I can revive our beefy barbarian."

Connor walked out to the corridor that went to the ledge. Nodding at Hero still moving the ledge guard's material, Connor knelt down beside Alister. Placing his hand on the man's forehead, Connor willed the first psionic tattoo he had harvested onto the barbarian, then tapped it to activate the power. (3 points.) A flush of color returned to Alister's face, and some of his wounds began to pucker as the lead shot was rejected. But Alister did not stir past his normal breathing. Connor put another tattoo on the humavian and tapped it. (3 more points.) The result was much like before, without Alister regaining consciousness. unskilled Heal check for Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 (Bah! Humbug. Can't tell how many more Alister needs.)

Connor sighed, and looked around. "Two more bodies - two more tattoos." he said hopefully.

Connor : Now that you know where to search, you find another tattoo on the dwarf's stomach, and a larger more intricate one on Kol's stomach.

(I was until Alys found two in Kol's room. I had to find that out for Connor before I could get Alys to share. Reaghar hasn't responded yet, but if I can heal Alister first then, yes, I'll to to where Reaghar is and use a tattoo to make a crowbar for him. I just have to be the one holding it, according to the rules. Connor will get to the dwarf, the ledge guard, and Kol for their tattoos eventually.)

"Healing magic? Why didn't you tell me you were that desparate?", she slips a dorje out from under her haramaki and hands it to Connor. "This should be a safer option. Unfortunately its power has run out almost entirely. Maybe good for two more uses."

It's a dorje of natural healing with two charges, for 3 hp each.

Connor looked dubiously at the dorje. "My experience with dorjes has been...limited. I can't use them very well." (I.e., non-existent Use Psionic Device skill, and Natural Healing isn't on psion/wilder list.)

Connor went to the ledge guard, complementing Hero on the pile of loot. He searched the guard for a tattoo, then moved to the dwarf at the hallway, and finally Kol himself, back in the main room. He left Hero behind to watch over Alister.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 (Ok, trying again on the ledge guard.)
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18 (Dwarf - without psicrystal)
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 (Kol - without psicrystal)

Taking 10 for Intelligence: Identifying Psionic Tattoos check (DC 13) = 15 for all three tattoos.

With the new tattoos, Connor went back to Alister and began activating them one by one on the wounded man. (3 points for Natural Healing. 6 points so far, so Alister is -5/20 before this 2nd attempt with the ledge guard, dwarf, and Kol's tattoos. Using Kol's tattoo last in case it is a Emphatic Healing or higher-class Natural Healing.)

Connor saw Alister's eyes fluttering. "Welcome back to the land of the living." he told the barbarian. He quickly filled in Alister what had happened with the gun-toting gang members, as well as the newcomers that were helping them loot Kol's hideout.

Leading Alister into the main room, Connor showed him the various rooms. "I think Elrohir might need help. I'm going to help Reaghar." he said.

Connor braced himself as he activated Call Item by tattoo. Connor didn't like using that power. It made things appear out of thin air; as far as Connor knew, he was unique, the only person with the power. But the items that appeared were strange, exotic. Not normal-looking. Like the time he had made a hooded lantern appear and what he had got in his hands was a paper mache creation colored red and covered in unreadable glyphs. Connor had never let his clan know he had the power.

A crowbar appeared in Connor's hands. An ordinary, common-looking crowbar that hummed a little if you examined it. Connor breathed a sigh of relief. "Hey Reaghar, I have a crowbar for you, but I'll have to help." he told the larger man.
