Missive (Ps): While the aegis's astral suit is active and his psicrystal is consumed by it, he gains the ability to use missive as a psi-like ability with a manifester level equal to his class level.

Crystalized Weapon: The aegis’s astral suit envelopes his melee weapon. The weapon is treated as if made from deep crystal. This treats the weapon as a masterwork weapon if it was not already, and the aegis can pay two power points to charge the weapon with psionic energy which deals 2d6 additional points of damage on its next hit. The weapon stays charged for 1 minute or until it successfully hits, whichever comes first.

Astral Hauberk:

When formed into an astral hauberk, an astral suit resembles masterwork studded leather and is treated as such for all mechanical purposes. Should the aegis be wearing armor when forming his astral suit in this fashion, the astral suit encloses the armor and the aegis gains the benefits of only his astral suit and not that from his armor, even if his armor would confer better benefits. Forming an astral suit into this form takes a move action. The aegis gains the following free customizations: Crystallized Weapon and Nimble At 2nd level, the aegis gains the Lesser Extra Arms Customization as a free customization when the astral suit is in astral hauberk form. At 5th level, the astral suit resembles and is treated as a mithral shirt for all mechanical purposes.

Background:
Alister grew up in a straightforward, albeit old-fashioned "family" of the McRauth clan. As a tough, strong child, he was raised to be a warrior of his people, disciplined and honorable. One thing that could never be contained, however, and stood in the way of this goal, was his temper. Whereas others might stay alert and focused while sparring or in a battle, he lost himself in it, focusing on his opponent to the exclusion of all else. He often ended fights with wounds, but not like he gave whichever opponent he faced.

His skill with psionics, however, left something to be desired. While others had found manifesting easy, or at least attainable, Alister's always had trouble with it, advancing slowly. While angered, he can direct his rage towards powers, but it's a far cry from the manifesting might of an actual psychic warrior.

Alister's gone through life with little regard for others, for the most part. He respects fighters better than him, and ruthless to those he fights that are weaker than him. More than once, a sparring match has turned potentially lethal, though he has yet to kill any of his comrades. His clan's elders seek to keep a close eye on him, as although he could be a fine warrior, he's currently far too unpredictable.
