At first level, you betcha. If you're in a dungeon and can't replace them, you betcha. If you're in town at 5th level, not so much. I usually assess people 50gp every month or two of game time to replenish things they use. Like arrows, that dagger you lost, food, a night out on the town drinking, etc

Connor flinched, trying unsuccessfully to protect himself from the blast alchemist's fire with the gunpowder. He breathed a loud sigh of relief when the half-orc stopped moving on the floor. Holding his bleeding forearm next to his side, along with his crossbow, Connor replied to Elrohir, "You're new to the team and you took forever following us in here, newbie." His side felt like it was bleeding from the scattergun, too.
Connor looked back down the hallway. "Hey Reaghar!" he shouted. "Kol's dead - but we still have a guard or two to take care of, from that gunfire in the building. Get back in here and finish the job. I'm hit." Connor painfully unstrapped his backpack and got out his healer's kit, taking a bandage roll and wrapping his wounds.

Connor looked up at his psicrystal near the ceiling. As for you, he sent telepathically, get back to Alister and make sure those guards don't double back and come at us from behind. Or the city guard arrives without notice." (30/20ft self-propulsion, probably two rounds to get back to Alister resting on the floor in the outer corridor.)

Sammark can't charge the guard. First, he can't charge over difficult terrain (stairs + body), and acrobatics won't help since he can't charge in a straight line. He can however, move up to the Rogue so he's standing next to him.

Actually, the DC to stop bleeding is 10 + # of HP below 0. So, it would be 14 for Alys. She's still bleeding, and goes to -5.
My bad I looked it up to make sure and saw that the DC is 10 and stopped reading there. Thus missed the fact that there is a penalty to the roll equal to my number of negative hit points.

Rogue 2 see's he's surrounded, and having heard explosions, decides he needs to get out. He ducks and dodges and while fleeing.

Connor stood up, still holding the healer's kit and backpack in one arm and hand, his light crossbow in the other. A series of noises got the better of him, and made him curious. Connor ran to where the thumps had come from, going past the half-orc's body and turning left, which had a short hallway going to a doorway in an open space, showing another doorway. "Well, follow me, guys, let's see what the guards were shooting at here." he jauntily called out. (Double move, 60 feet to almost where Sammark is at the doorway.)
Meanwhile, a silent but grumbling internally Hero crawled down from the wall and daintily climbed up on Alister's chest. One spiderlike leg prodded at the bandages going across the man's torso, apparently satisfied the bleeding had stopped.

Reaghar goes out the other door to avoid any area blasts that the enemy might be using. He rounds the corner, seeing Connor with the strangers. Connor wasn't attacking, so Reaghar just waited. "Maybe his lil crystal saw something I didn't"
move action, then readying an attack against anyone attacking Connor or Reaghar.

To clarify, the perception DCs are for when you come into Line of Sight with each other, not right now, as nobody has line of sight until someone moves. :) Reaghar can't see anyone from where he is other than Connor. He can hear sounds of struggle going on in the hallway, but can't see anything. Did Selvan talk out loud? Wouldn't he use the mental link instead?

Nope, it's a wall, jsut like the one behind it.
It looks like someone took a defensive building and built it into a commercial structure when the military uses were obsolete. The rest of the building doesn't have the heavy reinforcement this half does.

Flick laughs a little nervously, and once again his words kinda tumble over themselves "Uh, yea, sorry about that. This is uh, my first real combat." He keeps his bow out, arrow nocked, ready to let fly at the first sign of trouble. The Elfavian then follows his companions, staying behind them.

Connor, still running, got to a doorway that branched off both left and right. Looking to his right,
Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 (No psicrystal, but a natural 20 on the roll. Whoo!)
Connor saw a half-elf bending over the bleeding form of a blonde elfavian with butterfly wings pretty enough to turn heads in a crowd. The half-human wasn't in the colors of Kol's guards. Still holding his backpack, healer's kit, and crossbow, Connor addressed the man in a lowered voice. He echoed the words spoken with the psicrystal link in his head. "Hey Wingless, if you're trying to help her, and I think you are, I've got a healer's kit here. But I've also got a crossbow, if you're with the magic-selling idiots on this floor. So you tell me which to use." He shouted over his shoulder, back inside Kol's hideout, "Hey Reaghar! You call for friends on busting this dealer and not tell us?"

Connor is an unassuming young man in his early twenties. He has pale skin, brown hair with red streaks, an average size for a Humavian, and is light on his feet. His McIntyre wings are white, indicating his heritage. Connor usually wears a thick pale shirt with brown trousers, a leather belt with belt pouches, and heavy boots (explorer's outfit).
He is holding a backpack for winged humanoids and a healer's kit in one arm/hand (arm is wrapped in fresh bloody bandages), his ribs are wrapped in bandages, and is holding a light crossbow in the other hand.
The light crossbow is unloaded. The hand holding the healer's kit has a spiked gauntlet.
(Retconned at the last second to not hearing about a butterfly.)

Alright, unless someone initiates hostilities, we're out of combat, since nobody's attacking anyone. I declare this an free RP zone until someone ticks someone else off enough to open hostilities.

Sam looks up and fixes Connor with a look that is simultaneously unimpressed and annoyed. Sam had been threatened by things far scarier than this newcomer.
"Sorry, what was that? I don't speak Pigeon. Why don't you try again? Preferably after learning to use your eyes." Unless the newcomer makes any sudden moves, Sam promptly begins ignoring him in favor of trying to keep Alys alive. Alys he liked, certainly more than Selvan. Out of the three of them, she was the only one he figured had a decent chance of a new life.

Connor laughed. He leaned over and let the healer's kit drop next to the half-elf. "Here. There's plenty of bandages left." Connor offered. "It looks like Kol the illegal-contraband-dealer had more than one person gunning for him." The humavian went to the other side of the fallen woman. He looked over the gunshot wounds on the elfavian. unskilled Heal check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 (Yuck.)
"She looks pretty bad. We have a guy in the back who took several shots as well." Connor told the half-elf quietly. Looking back at the doorway he had come from, Connor shouted "Hey Red-eye and Newbie! I figure we got twenty, thirty minutes before the town guard responds to the gunshots. Start searching. See if we have enough magic items to call for help turning them in." Connor focused on his internal link. Get us a view of the street, just in case. he ordered Hero.
Connor flexed the wing that had been hit by the scattergun. It hurt. Carrying Alister was going to be trouble. He turned to face the half-elf again. "We're not a rival gang, by the way. We just decided to get rid of anyone selling magic items in the city. Because, you know, magic blows up on these islands. So what's your story with the young lady, here?" Connor asked, his eyes going from the half-elf's attire to the elfavian's clothing.

If you've lived in the Southern District for any length of time (Only Sammark would fit this), you get a +5 on the Kn(Local) check, and can make it untrained.

Reaghar searches the bad guys, particularly Kol first. He will leave any magical things to the side for Connor to mess with. He will go for things in the order of: (Coin/gems; Alchemical substances; Weapons/bullets/powder; Other). He is making no attempt to hide his grabbing of the coins, and will divide them later away from the prying eyes of the newcomers.

Connor forced himself to smile at the half-human. "This from the guy who came up the front way, right into Kol's guards. At least my group did reconnaissance, and found the ledge on the second floor." he shot back. Connor glanced at the blonde elfavian. untrained Heal skill check as Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 (A pox on these digital dice!) Connor couldn't tell if the half-elf had staunched her bleeding or not. Pity.
Connor collected the healer's kit and stuffed it back into his backpack. "Well, to the victors go the spoils." the man jauntily rebuffed. "I won't deny you kept, what, two or three? Of those goons off of our backs while we killed the dealer himself. Now we're going to search this place and see just how many arcane or divine items we need to turn over to the Magical Disposal Bureau before the stupid stuff blows this city block up sky high. I think you have your hands full getting your friend back to whatever place you call home."
Connor stood up, cradling his wounded arm, hooking the light crossbow back onto his backpack and then wincing as he struggled to put the backpack back on with his nicked wing. "If you want to see if there's any healing magic that works, you're welcome to join us. My guy's too heavy for me to lift, so I need a potion or two for him. If not, look us up at the Sotted Oyster later. It's in the Clan Reville section, so mind your p's and q's, Wingless. Or the Teranafiel Sal'van'Tieltha, Connor's tongue slipping around the Elven words, "in the Southern Quadrant, if you don't like the rowdy barhops." Shaking his head in disbelief at the man's neutrality, Connor stood up to leave the corridor and go back inside Kol's area for assistance in the ransacking.

If so Selvan will chase him and if given a chance will manifest Entangling Ecotplasm at him (DC16 reflex save to negate). IF he manages to get outdoors Selvan has a 50ft. fly speed.

If Selvan had taken off after him immediately, he might have caught him, but having stopped to deal with Connor (if necessary) gave the guy a lead. When Selvan looks outside, he can't find the guy. He must have ducked into another building, the entire area is like a maze at street level, and crowded (think Bangalesh).
None of the doors off the hallways are locked. Kol only has the shotgun on him (damaged by the explosion), the last explosive device, and some MW studded leather armor (also damaged by the explosion). No coins, no jewelry, nothing.

"It ain't my 'p's and 'q's that need minding, pigeon," Sam said coolly, "Hurry up with your looting. I'm after information, not goods." With that he pulled Alys into an out of the way corner and did what he could to make her comfortable while he did some looking. He was sorely tempted to set the pigeon on fire to prove a point but he did not like his odds against the man's associates.

Kneeling over Alys and pulling up the sleeve of his shirt Selvan transfers and activates a pair of tattoos onto Alys. "Come on you stupid girl you're not dead yet. I would know if you were dead."

They're more expensive than Divine healing, to be sure. You can make a wand of it, of course, but you have to use it yourself. :P
The only thing I've really seen make good use of Natural Healing is the Vitalist, otherwise, it's just sort of "Making do" with it.

Elrohir moves to a doorway, and enters carefully, but there's only stacked up crates inside. Searching the room quickly, he only finds the crates. The crates are nailed shut, and require a hammer or crowbar to open.
Sammark moves Alys into the interior hallway, get's her comfortable, and then goes searching. He enters the room next to that one, and also does a quick search. He too finds a pair of crates stacked up in the corner, but nothing else. Again, a hammer or crowbar is needed to open the crates.
Reaghar searches Kol, finds the gun (damaged), another powder/alchemical combo bomb (as noted earlier), and damaged armor. He also found a belt pouch containing lead balls, packets of buckshot, percussion caps, and a powder horn. The door next to Kol's body is open, and Reaghar notices a fireplace and what looks like a sitting room.
Selvan heals up Alys (see above), and Connor follows along, talking and insulting at various points. The two seem to have the same capacity to irritate people on first contact, and are honing their abilities on each other.
Alys wakes up to Selvan antagonizing a person she's never met, a not uncommon occurrance.

Connor saw an elfavian, tall and wiry, with blue eyes, come up to them. When the half-elf gave no guarded response, Connor relaxed, concluding the armored man was with the half-elf.
Watching the male elfavian heal the blonde female elfavian with the tattoos, Connor whistled appreciatively. "And here I thought shield tattoos were enough. I've got to get some like those." he told the two men.
Selvan heals up Alys (see above), and Connor follows along, talking and insulting at various points. The two seem to have the same capacity to irritate people on first contact, and are honing their abilities on each other.
(Oh come on, I'm honestly just being guarded here. I'll be more diplomatic and friendly now that I know these 'new guys' are not part of Kol's guards. :) )
"But enough about our battle plan and second guesses." Connor finished. He saw the blonde elfavian stir. "Our beauty awakes!" Connor said cheerfully. "Don't worry, we're not the bad guys. But if you'll excuse me, I need to find some major healing for one of my own compatriots in the back of this hideout." he told the two elfavains. He stepped into the inner hallway. Connor focused his mind as he walked away. (Regaining psionic focus: fire)
