Sammark can run up to the side entrance, and head under the stairs. This puts him 10 ft from Selvan, and directly below Alys. He can't see anyone from his vantage point except Selvan.

Selvan and Alys hadn't been to the building before, so they went to the door they saw from the street, not knowing about the side entrance under the stairs.

He will use scraps of cloth and pressure to staunch any further bleeding (trying to help him stabilize).

Elrohir see's at least 3 people, but he can't make out details.

Just as he ducks past the construct, there is a BOOM sound.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Another round of lead goes whistling between Elrohir and the Construct, missing both by a foot.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 2 = 22

Then there's a deafening roar and a cloud of shrapnel fills the air behind Elrohir. The outer wall is nearly turned to powder as the wall of lead slams into it.

Damage: 2d8 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7

The astral construct screams as dozens of holes are ripped in it's ectoplasmic body. Huge tears nearly render it unrecognizable. Somehow the pitiful thing manages to hold onto it's integrity, but it no longer looks humanoid, just a giant ectoplasmic torture toy is all it appears to be now. If I read it correctly, it should have 3 hp left

McIntyre Plot

(Actually, being a construct, it wouldn't scream? It's a robot. Connor isn't telling it to scream.)

Connor's stats:

Holding psionic focus (Energy type=Electricity); Power Points=1; AC=18/14/14; Active Power=Inertial Armor manifested (1 hour duration); wearing spiked gauntlet

Connor finished manifesting his third Astral Construct as Reaghar pulled Alister out of the doorway and started working on him. "Go. Attack." Connor said unnecessarily to the construct, just as he heard the near-deafening gun blast. The mental commands had it following its' previous model up the corridor, attacking anything it came across, except Reaghar and Elrohir, of course. Connor wondered if the second construct was being effective. He ran to where Reaghar had pulled Alister from the entrance.

The construct ignored the ranged attack, moving closer (up to 30 feet) toward any quarry it could see.
Second Astral Construct Slam attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 (fades at the end of this round. Construct has 3 hp.)
Second Astral Construct Slam dmg: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

The third construct left Connor's view. (Moving up 30 feet, even past construct #2 if need be, attacking.)
Third Astral Construct Slam attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 (1 round left.)
Third Astral Construct Slam dmg: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 (Wow. Max atk and near-max dmg. Hope it does something. Construct has 15 hp.)

Connor knelt at the fallen form of the barbarian. "Huh. Looks like you did a good job, Reaghar." he said as he pulled out his healer's kit. (Heal check: First Aid DC 15) 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 1 + 2 = 15 Connor began wrapping the other wounds on Alister's body. "I've got Alister now. Keep the pressure on Kol's men. My constructs won't last long." he quietly told the red-eyed Humavian. I'm tossing you into the corridor next. You can tell the constructs where to go. Connor sent to his psicrystal.

Constructs do not mean they have to be gears. Astral Constructs are made of ectoplasm. Basically, that snot that the Ghost Busters used to find everywhere in the GB movies. You yoink that stuff from the Etherial plane into the real world, shape it into a form, and send it to do battle. So, given it's the same stuff that manifested ethereal creatures are made of, I think having it scream when it's ripped apart is appropriate.

As the second astral construct gets to the end of the short corridor, a BOOM is heard.

Perception Astral Construct: 1d20 ⇒ 6

The construct missed the man hiding (Elrohir made the 14 DC to notice him). So the construct is flat footed vs this opponent.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + (6) = 9

The first construct never gets out of the corridor, it explodes and collapses into a puddle of ectoplasm that begins to evaporate before it even hits the ground.

The second gets to the end of the corridor, and another BOOM is heard.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

The flask of alchemist fire shatters against the construct, and then the flask of gunpowder strapped to the alchemist fire detonates. The construct is ripped apart and bits of flaming ectoplasm are spread over the hallway and room. It would be a fire hazard except the bits evaporate almost as fast as they burn.

Rogue 1 readies an action.

Note all enemies except the hall guard are out of sight, so positions may change unless someone get's eyeballs on them soon.

EDIT : The construct did manage to get a hit in on something before it died. I forgot to mention that. Although nobody saw what it did.

McIntyre Plot

Connor flinched reflexively as he heard the gunfire, followed by the concussion of some kind of flammable event. "Do you think there'll be anything left by the time we get in there?" he deadpanned to Reaghar as he knelt by Alister's form. Connor took his necklace, working the garnet out of the metal cage. Throwing it past Reaghar (Throw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17), the gem landed at the intersection, and the psicrystal grew spiderly legs, lifting it off of the ground. "Tell me if that was a tripwire or what. And don't get shot." the young man told Hero. Connor looked back at the fallen form of the guard that used to be on the ledge. "I wonder if he has anything we can use." he mused. "I've got one construct left." he told Reaghar quietly.

(I'm thinking if Hero gets to the ceiling, he can tell Connor what's down the hallway. Of course, if there's a Rogue with a readied action looking down the corridor, Hero will duck.)

Hero can see the bad guy circled in yellow, but that's all he can see due to the hallway from his position. Rogue 1 can't see the crystal due to the body in the way. The only reason Hero can see the rogue is because of how his sight works. I'll assume Hero hunkers down, knowing there's a rogue that could possibly see him if he moves.

As Alys runs past the open door, she misses the Rogue who's angled to cover both the door and the hallway, and his readied action is triggered by Alys running past the doorway.

A revolver explodes in the rogue's hands.

damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Alys realizes that if not for the luck of the gun exploding, she'd have been caught by surprise and possibly killed by the gunner.

Alys's attack on the hall guardway is thrown off by the explosion inside the room, and she badly misses the guard.

A gunman leans around the doorframe and takes a pot shot at Alys.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 4 - 2 = 10

The shot goes over Alys's head, and slams into the wall, sending dust and splinters down on Selvan's head.

Yes, but you'll have to move onto the second riser, which will require a double move. 10ft to first riser, 10ft to landing, 5 ft to bottom of second riser, and then 10 ft to second riser. 35 ft.

Selvan : If you mean the one inside, yes, but you don't know he's there. If you mean the hall guard, no, but you can get to him. You can't charge him due to the stairs. It takes you 20 ft of movement to get up the stairs from where you are.

Alys : Updated map, you successfully acrobatic'd around him. If you could roll like that on attacks you'd hit him for sure. :)

Ah well, no point in wasting time on it. I'm feeling grouchy this morning anyway not anyone's fault.

Selvan moves forward cursing and muttering the whole way definitely not happy about this idea of blindly running into a gunfight with swords.

Selvan moves forward towards Alys, if he sees the rogue he stops, coordinated strikes and attacks him. If not he'll coordinated strike the hall guard as he gets within rech of his polearm.

Selvan doesn't see the gunman, who takes a potshot at him as he enters.

Sammark pokes his head out of the stairwell and pitches an incandescent sphere of plasma at the man in the doorway.

Expending psionic focus to manifest Energy Ray (Fire) and then takes a five foot step back down the stairs.

The hallway guard, unmenaced from behind, takes a 5 ft step back and fires at Alys.

Connor cocked his head to one side as if listening to someone else. (Hero's description of the hallway this round.) "Hey newbie!" he called out. "There's a Wingless at your 12, 12-thirty-o'clock at the end of the hallway. Red-eye can see him too. Shoot him and I'll stop calling you newbie." No use calling out real names, just in case.

Alright, Hero. Connor sent. Climb some wall and give me a view of where that half-orc disappeared to. Stay light on your feet. (10 ft up the wall to the left and forward 5 feet?)

Connor fell back from Alister on the floor, lunging towards the form of the first guard they had killed (5-foot step?). Connor started searching the man's pockets. There's got to be some healing magic or an alchemist's fire we can use. the humavian thought to himself.

The guard you killed has a revolver, 2 cylinders for reloads, a coin purse, and leather armor. He has a powder horn and a small bag with caps and balls.

Hero can see on the map what's there. He can also see Kol snapping his break action shotgun closed again, having just reloaded it apparently. He also looks like he has 2 more of those powderbombs on his belt.

I swear I've never seen a string of misses like the one you guys are having.

Rogue 1 takes advantage of Selven's miss, and steps through the doorway. Hero can see him take a second to clear his firearm after the misfire, and Selven can here him spin the cylinder as it clears up, ready to fire again.

Connor and Reaghar are both too far away to affect the Hall Guard and Rogue 3, so we'll do them next

The Hall Guard adjusts back 5 ft, and fires at Alys again.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Again his shot goes wide of the dancing Alys.

Rogue 3, inside the hallway, takes another potshot at Selven.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Oh for...

Another bullet slams into the wall next to Selven.

Connor, Reaghar, and Sammark up.

And Elrohir, if he ever decides to act, this is the second round he's been holding.

Leaving the body of the fallen guard, Connor walked around Alister on the floor to come up behind Reaghar (25-foot move). "Red-eye, wait." he said in a low voice, also trying to catch Elrohir's attention. "I just saw Kol reload his double-shot scattergun. He's also got 2 alchemist's fire flasks with gunpowder attached. He's pointed this way. Let me make another construct first, next to Kol, to distract him." Connor stared at the wall, as if looking through it. "And the guy at the far end just stepped back in." Connor said excitedly, looking over Reaghar at Elrohir. "Newbie, take the shot!"
