I'm looking for 6 players to participate in my Pathfinder Society Season 4 campaign for PFS credit. If you play all the scenarios in the campaign, it will take your character from level 1 to level 12. Since there are not enough scenarios to provide the necessary experience points, I'll be adding a module and scenarios from Season 3 and Season 5 to round things out. The game will take place on these Paizo boards and Google Drawings will be used for maps.
Level 1
Module: Master of the Fallen Fortress
5-08 The Confirmation
3-00 First Steps —Part I: In Service to Lore
Level 2
4-01 Rise of the Goblin Guild
4-07 Severing Ties
4-11 The Disappeared
Level 3
4-15 The Cyphermage Dilemma
4-18 The Veteran's Vault
4-19 The Night March of Kalkamedes
Level 4
4-02 In Wrath's Shadow
4-05 The Sanos Abduction
4-09 The Blackros Matrimony
Level 5
4-14 My Enemy's Enemy
4-21 Way of the Kirin
4-23 Rivalry's End
Level 6
5-14 Day of the Demon
4-03 The Golemworks Incident
4-06 The Green Market
Level 7
4-13 Fortress of the Nail
4-16 The Fabric of Reality
4-17 Tower of the Ironwood Watch
Level 8
4-04 King of Storval Stairs
4-08 The Cultist's Kiss
4-10 Feast of Sigils
Level 9
4-22 Glories of the Past Part I: Halls of Dwarven Lore
4-24 Glories of the Past Part II: The Price of Friendship
4-25 Glories of the Past Part III: The Secrets of Stone Keep
Level 10
4-12 The Refuge of Time
4-20 Words of the Ancients
4-26 The Waking Rune
Level 11
5-05 The Elven Entanglement
5-10 Where Mammoths Dare Not Tread
5-17 Fate of the Fiend
This schedule is tentative. If, for example, the group doesn't feel comfortable playing The Waking Rune at level 10, I could easily move it to the last slot in level 11.
Ideally, the 6 players will not have played any Season 4 scenarios. Since it's going to be unlikely to find that many players without Season 4 experience, I'm willing to accept players who have played a small number of them. I'll work with them to fill in the experience gaps, perhaps by running another short scenario concurrently. Obviously, it would be helpful if you avoided playing any additional Season 4 scenarios while you participate in the campaign.
Unlike an AP, when we will have the inevitable drop-outs, it should be easy to fill in the spots through recruitment on this thread. In addition, if you find the campaign ultimately not to your liking, at the very least you'll have received PFS credit for the scenarios you have played.
Normally with a PFS scenario, I would just accept the first 6 players with completed aliases for the game and begin, but in the case I will have to be a little more selective. Based on future scenarios, the group I finally pick will have at least each of the following roles filled:
• Arcane
• Healer
• Ability to Disarm Magical Traps
• Face
Eligibility Requirements
• A Pathfinder Society Alias with complete character information in the profile.
• Pathfinder Society number and faction listed somewhere in said profile.
• The character should have no experience points and will not yet be a Pathfinder. The introductory scenarios will lead into that.
• Once your character is accepted, I'd like you to send me a PM with your email address in case of a sudden disappearance, so that a chronicle sheet may be sent.
• Please peruse the proposed schedule and list which scenarios you have played. The fewer, the better, but I won't automatically disqualify you unless it's a large number. Please don't list the introductory module or scenarios, as those can be replayed indefinitely. I don't need to know what scenarios you have run as a GM, if any.
Expectations
• Ability to post at least once per day on Weekdays, at least once on Weekends.
• If you're unable to post for one or more days, please let us know on the Discussion Thread.
• Place the following information in the class/level section on your profile: Class Level(s) # - HP: Current/Max - AC: /T: /FF: - Fort: , Ref: , Will: - CMB: , CMD: - Speed: - Perception: - Init:
• I will be rolling Initiative and some passive rolls (Perception, Saves) for the PCs as necessary for the sake of expediency.
I look forward to seeing your characters! Recruitment ends when 6 suitable candidates apply, with the roles outlined above filled.

GM Alice |

Hello! I'd be very interested in playing along with a number of Season 4 scenarios.
The season 4 scenarios I've played are as follows:
4-09 The Blakros Matrimony
4-23 Rivalry's End
4-14 My Enemy's Enemy
And the special, Siege of the Diamond City.
... So, hopefully not a big problem overall.
I will make up a character shortly. :)

Broken Prince |

I'm certainly interested with a new Paladin who should be able to fill the face and melee rolls.
Could I ask that Master's of the Forbidden Fortress be omitted though? I've played it, though it may be replayable, and was not impressed - particularly as it only offers a maximum of 1 PP. Playing The Confirmation with 0 XP characters is also preferable - I've played it, but its a great scenario and IMO by far the best introduction to The Pathfinder Society. I have also played First Steps, but again I believe it's replayable and I think this character would have a very different experience.

![]() |

Count me as interested - I've never played PBP before and have been lurking. Would love to have the opportunity to play, however. I expect to post regularly (every weekday and on weekends)
The only scenario I know about is The Disappeared as I nearly ran that one with a RL group a while back.
And I'm thinking of a human druid...this is my preliminary profile.

@ Jrcmarine, GM Alice, Chakka, El Ronza, and Gilthanis: I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.
@El Ronza: Newbies are very welcome.
@Belroar: You're good. Consider yourself in.
@Melufiuos: I'd really prefer to have your character sheet in the alias if possible, just for speed and convenience, but it doesn't need to be immediately. I'm assuming your faction is Grand Lodge. I'll need your PFS# before we begin as well.
@Moadis:It looks like you're still working on your character sheet (Class abilities and Racial Traits look off), so I'll get back to you on that. Also, I'll need your PFS#, with the assumption you're Silver Crusade.
@Broken Prince: I can omit Master of the Fallen Fortress, although my original thinking was that the group would be introduced to the society through that particular module. Changing this up may delay the start by a couple of days, but hopefully that won't be an issue for anyone.
@Dustin Stydwell: Just waiting for a full sheet, PFS# and Faction (Looks like Grand Lodge).
Status of Recruitment

Hi, GM. This is Alice's character. Just got the bare-bones character sheet up at the moment and working on the details like backstory and such, but it should be enough for now. :)
Chelish (very Chelish) summoner with a tagalong devil. Will play nicely with (buff and attractive) paladins, promise. She's a good face and can even heal in a pinch with infernal healing. Plus some muscle for the front line.
p.s., I can show you my ifrit boon chronicle if you need proof.

![]() |

Posted as Gilthanis above.
A sensei/Ki mystic in training. Plan on spreading skill points around to know a little of everything and have a damn good AC at lower levels that I think will scale okay at higher levels. If I did my math right, my AC, with a Mage armor will be 21+, since dodge bonuses stack with themselves :)

![]() |

Oh, sorry. It is all over the place on the screens I get to see, LOL. Added PFS#. And yes, I'll add the rest of the information to the character sheet (this evening, I hope). The character sheet forced me to select a faction, but I hadn't really picked one. I was thinking that 'not yet a pathfinder' meant no faction. I'll pick one tonight as well.

Broken Prince |

Blah I had better bow out, cannot seem to come up with a concept I'm happy with and probably have far too many PFS characters anyway. I really like this idea though, kudos GM Harker and best of luck to you all with the game!
I really do recommend at least switching up the order to make The Confirmation the first scenario though, its a lot more geared in that direction and some of the boons are specifically better for characters with 0 XP.

![]() |

Hi there! I have never played a PbP before but am very interested in starting, and would be love the chance to give it a go!
This is my sorcerer with a knack for stealth and trap removal, with a pretty face if need be. I thought about the same idea as an oracle, to fill a healing role but the shadow-y concept just panned out better as a sorcerer.
His background and description are quite brief at the moment as it is quite late but wanted to submit my interest.
I have not played any scenarios from season 4 as far as I can remember, so that shouldn't be a problem for me.
ps. Apologies for any mistakes, like I said. Quite late here. Hehe.

![]() |

@GM Harker I know you mentioned the role of party face, I have developed Belroar to be a decent party face, bonusing his normal Charisma based skills with his Strength bonus. I know us half-orc aren't normally seen as faces...but while intimidation is his strongest suit, he can use diplomacy as well. And he's not some LG Paladin who doesn't mind lying to get his way either. ;) I am not sure he can compete with the high charisma folks, but I do plan on keeping those skills as high as I can.
At the very least he does offer some options for the party.

![]() |

I would like to throw my character into the ring.
Marra DawnFlower (Halfling Bard) ready to go.
Of the modules listed I have only played two modules.
Master of the fallen Master of the Fallen Fortress for PFS credit, but I believe it has unlimited replay.
I've also, played First Steps —Part I: once, but not for PFS credit.
I have played PbP for many years, and only recently started playing for PFS. I would have no problem making one or more post per day. Maybe once or twice over the weekend.
Marra is a new halfing bard arch-class Dawnflower. While not primarily designed for it, She can make a serviceable healer, rouge, and/or a face.
My plan for her is to continue in the bard class through 12th.

Recruitment is Currently Closed
Party
Belroar Bloodlet (Half-orc Inquisitor, Grand Lodge)
Melufiuos Benidictus (Elf Magus, Faction TBD)
Moadis (Aasimar Paladin, Silver Crusade?)
Aurelia Ciucci (Ifrit Summoner, Cheliax)
Valik Frost (Human Monk, Osirion)
Ophelia Endronil (Human Cleric, Faction TBD) [Pending PFS#]
Alternates (Fill in if one of the above drops out)
Vykos Kathnier (Human Sorcerer)
Dustin Stydwell (Human Druid)
Marra Dawnflower (Halfling Bard)
Those of you who were selected, please report to the game discussion thread here and begin making final changes to your characters.
Unless I missed something, you'll note the party does not have the ability to disarm magical traps. I decided to forgo it at this time, but it might be something someone might want to consider in the future.
I will be taking Broken Prince's excellent suggestion and start with the Confirmation instead of Master of the Fallen Fortress. I may move MotFF to after First Steps or replace it entirely.
@Aurelia: I don't need a scan of the Ifrit sheet at this time, I assume you received it through the PbP Gameday.
@Belroar: The low Charisma threw me off. The more party faces the better, really.

GM Harker |

One of our current players has gone AWOL for more than three weeks, so we're looking for one player to fill in for the Tier 3-7 PFS scenario 4-05: The Sanos Abduction. All the current characters are level 5, so they'll be playing in between tiers regardless of the 6th player, but I think its best if the fill in character is between levels 5-7.
Current characters are an archery ranger with a wolf, a paladin/life oracle, a magus/rogue, a cleric of Pharasma, and a sensei/ki mystic monk. It's preferable if the fill in character isn't any of those classes, or will significantly outshine them in those roles. More arcane is probably preferable, but not necessary for consideration.
This is only for the one scenario, although if the missing player doesn't return by the time we finish we'll be looking for a permanent replacement. If you have not happened to have played a lot of scenarios from Tier 3-7, 5-9, or 7-11 in PFS Season 4, then it's likely you'll be offered a permanent space in the Season 4 campaign if our original players does not return.
If we receive multiple interested parties in the next 24 hours, I'll choose whichever one I think will work best with the party. Posting history, availability for future replacement, and character class will all be taken into consideration.

1st LVL: Slashing Strike: Use a slashing weapon as a swashbuckler piercing weapon for all feats and panache and deeds.
3rd LVL: Weapon Focus: You gain a +1 bonus on all attack rolls you make using the selected weapon (ADS).
4th SWBNS: Slashing Grace: Choose one kind of light or one-handed slashing weapon (such as the longsword). When wielding your chosen weapon one-handed, you can treat it as a one-handed piercing melee weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a swashbuckler's or a duelist's precise strike) and you can add your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to that weapon's damage. The weapon must be one appropriate for your size.
5th LVL: Quick Draw: You can draw a weapon as a free action instead of as a move action. You can draw a hidden weapon (see the Sleight of Hand skill) as a move action.
7th LVL: Aldori Dueling Mastery: You gain a +2 bonus on Initiative checks as long as you start combat with a dueling sword in your hand. As long as you wield only a single dueling sword in one hand, you gain a +2 shield bonus to your AC—if you wield the sword in two hands, this bonus drops to a +1 shield bonus to AC.

Swashbuckler Special /Class Abilities]
--------------------
*Swashbuckler Finesse (Ex): At 1st level, a swashbuckler gains the benefits of the Weapon Finesse feat with light or one-handed piercing melee weapons, and she can use her Charisma score in place of Intelligence as a prerequisite for combat feats. This ability counts as having the Weapon Finesse feat for purposes of meeting feat prerequisites.
*Charmed Life (Ex): At 2nd level, the swashbuckler gains a knack for getting out of trouble. Three times per day as an immediate action before attempting a saving throw, she can add her Charisma modifier to the result of the save. She must choose to do this before the roll is made. At 6th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the number of times she can do this per day increases by one (to a maximum of 7 times per day at 18th level).
*Nimble (Ex): At 3rd level, a swashbuckler gains a +1 dodge bonus to AC while wearing light or no armor. Anything that causes the swashbuckler to lose her Dexterity bonus to AC also causes her to lose this dodge bonus. This bonus increases by 1 for every 4 levels beyond 3rd (to a maximum of +5 at 19th level).
*Bonus Feats: At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, a swashbuckler gains a bonus feat in addition to those gained from normal advancement. These bonus feats must be selected from those listed as combat feats. Swashbuckler levels are considered fighter levels for the purpose of meeting combat feat prerequisites.
In addition, upon reaching 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, a swashbuckler can choose to learn a new bonus feat in place of a bonus feat she has already learned. In effect, the swashbuckler loses the bonus feat in exchange for the new one. The old feat cannot be one that was used as a prerequisite for another feat, prestige class, or other ability. A swashbuckler can only change one feat at any given level, and must choose whether or not to swap the feat at the time she gains a new bonus feat for the level.
*Swashbuckler Weapon Training (Ex): At 5th level, a swashbuckler gains a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls with one-handed or light piercing melee weapons. While wielding such a weapon, she gains the benefit of the Improved Critical feat. These attack and damage bonuses increase by 1 for every 4 levels beyond 5th level (to a maximum of +4 at 17th level).
Panache]
*Panache (Ex): More than just a lightly armored warrior, a swashbuckler is a daring combatant. She fights with panache: a fluctuating measure of a swashbuckler’s ability to perform amazing actions in combat. At the start of each day, a swashbuckler gains a number of panache points equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 1). Her panache goes up or down throughout the day, but usually cannot go higher than her Charisma modifier (minimum 1), though feats and magic items can affect this maximum. A swashbuckler spends panache to accomplish deeds (see below), and regains panache in the following ways.
*Critical Hit with a Light or One-Handed Piercing Melee Weapon: Each time the swashbuckler confirms a critical hit with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon, she regains 1 panache point. *Confirming a critical hit on a helpless or unaware creature or a creature that has fewer Hit Dice than half the swashbuckler’s character level doesn’t restore panache.
*Killing Blow with a Light or One-Handed Piercing Melee Weapon: When the swashbuckler reduces a creature to 0 or fewer hit points with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon attack while in combat, she regains 1 panache point. Destroying an unattended object, reducing a helpless or unaware creature to 0 or fewer hit points, or reducing a creature that has fewer Hit Dice than half the swashbuckler’s character level to 0 or fewer hit points doesn’t restore any panache.
Deeds]
*1st-Derring-Do (Ex): At 1st level, a swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point when she makes an Acrobatics, Climb, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, or Swim check to roll 1d6 and add the result to the check. She can do this after she makes the check but before the result is revealed. If the result of the d6 roll is a natural 6, she rolls another 1d6 and adds it to the check. She can continue to do this as long as she rolls natural 6s, up to a number of times equal to her Dexterity modifier (minimum 1).
*1st- Legal Dodging Panache (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent attempts a melee attack against the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 0) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn’t negate the attack, which is still resolved as if the swashbuckler had not moved from the original square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can only perform this deed while wearing light or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load.
*1st-Legal Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): At 1st level, when an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature’s result, the creature’s attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature’s attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed's cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.
3rd-level Deeds
*Kip-Up (EX): At 3rd level, while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, she can kip-up from prone as a move action without provoking an attack of opportunity. She can kip-up as a swift action instead by spending 1 panache point.
*Menacing Swordplay (Ex): At 3rd level, while she has at least 1 panache point, when a swashbuckler hits an opponent with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon, she can choose to use Intimidate to demoralize that opponent (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 99) as a swift action instead of a standard action.
*Precise Strike (Ex): At 3rd level, while she has at least 1 panache point, a swashbuckler gains the ability to strike precisely with a light or one-handed piercing melee weapon (though not natural weapon attacks), adding her swashbuckler level to the damage dealt. To use this deed, a swashbuckler cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand or use a shield other than a buckler. She can even use this ability with thrown light or onehanded piercing melee weapons, so long as the target is within 30 feet of her. Any creature that is immune to sneak attacks is immune to the additional damage granted by precise strike, and any item or ability that protects a creature from critical hits also protects a creature from the additional damage of a precise strike. This additional damage is precision damage, and isn’t multiplied on a critical hit.
*As a swift action, a swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point to double her precise strike’s damage bonus on the next attack. This benefit must be used before the end of her turn, or it is lost. This deed’s cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the amount of panache points a deed costs (such as the Signature Deed feat).
*Swashbuckler Initiative (Ex): At 3rd level, while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, she gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks. In addition, if she has the Quick Draw feat, her hands are free and unrestrained, and she has any single light or one-handed piercing melee weapon that isn’t hidden, she can draw that weapon as part of the initiative check.
7th-level Deeds
*Superior Feint (Ex): At 7th level, a swashbuckler with at least 1 panache point can, as a standard action, purposefully miss a creature she could make a melee attack against with a wielded light or one-handed piercing weapon. When she does, the creature is denied its Dexterity bonus to AC until the start of the swashbuckler’s next turn.
*Swashbuckler's Grace (Ex): At 7th level, while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, she takes no penalty for moving at full speed when she uses Acrobatics to attempt to move through a threatened area or an enemy’s space.
Targeted Strike (Ex): At 7th level, as a full-round action the swashbuckler can spend 1 panache point to make an attack with a single light or one-handed piercing melee weapon that cripples part of a foe’s body. The swashbuckler chooses a part of the body to target. If the attack succeeds, in addition to the attack’s normal damage, the target suffers one of the following effects based on the part of the body targeted. If a creature doesn’t have one of the listed body locations that body part cannot be targeted. Creatures that are immune to sneak attacks are also immune to targeted strikes. Items or abilities that protect a creature from critical hits also protect a creature from targeted strikes.
Arms: The target takes no damage from the attack, but it drops one carried item of the swashbuckler’s choice, even if the item is wielded with two hands. Items held in a locked gauntlet cannot be chosen.
Head: The target is confused for 1 round. This is a mind-affecting effect.
Legs: The target is knocked prone. Creatures with four or more legs or that are immune to trip attacks are immune to this effect.
Torso or Wings: The target is staggered for 1 round.

Backstory
--------------------
Fenrik hails from lands near Brevoy and from a very minor noble Varisian family associated with the House Lebeda in Brevoy. His father spent a small fortune ensuring Fenrik was properly educated including getting him entry into an Aldori dueling school in Silverhall. Fenrik enjoyed his dueling classes but chaffed at the treatment from proper Aldori students. Eventually he picked up some less than honorable skills from lower class workers at a local tavern he frequented. After his father lost the family fortune in a mercantile incident, Fenrik left the Brevoy area and joined the pathfinder Sovereign Court Faction.
Fenrik is armed with an Aldori Dueling Sword, a dagger and a longbow. He also wears a Chain Shirt. Even though he is a Slayer, Fenrik prefers to focus on martial aspects of being a Slayer and not the roguish side.
--------------------
Personality
--------------------
Fenrik is a minor noble and had to earn everything he has gotten in life. He despises haughty nobles and rich people but acknowledges they are a necessity to everyday life. He does his job as a Pathfinder solely for the purpose of earning coin. His adventures have turned him from a care-free individual to someone with a killer instinct.

If this is likely to be a long-term campaign, I'd prefer to use Korai just because I tend to use Sarsczek in my in-person games.
From S4 I have played in the following:
4-01, 4-06, 4-09, 4-11, 4-19, 4-22, 4-24, 4-25
I have GM'd for 4-23 (Credit went to Korai) but can play it with another character.
I can post at least once daily (usually 2-3) although weekends my posting gets spottier.

GM Harker |

@Belondia, thank you for your interest, but I'd prefer to avoid using pregens when there are applications from existing characters.
Everyone who applied has a good or excellent post history, and all the characters submitted were interesting and well made, so it was difficult to make the final decision on who to fill in for the Sanos Abduction. Ultimately, I based my choice on who would compliment the rest of the group with the least possibility of overshadowing one of the exiting characters. Since the group needs more arcane, I've decided to go with Vailis, who should now report to the discussion thread.
To everyone else, I'm sorry that we don't have room for additional characters but I thank you for your interest. If you think you might still be interested in this campaign at a later date, please PM me and I'll put you on a short list.

One of our players has left my Season 4 campaign, so we're looking for one player to fill in for the Tier 5-9 PFS scenario 4-16: The Fabric of Reality that will be played as part of Gameday 6. All the current characters are level 7, so they'll be playing in between tiers regardless of the 6th player, but the consensus was to play down so we're looking for a character that is between levels 5-7.
Current characters are an APG Summoner, a paladin/life oracle, a magus/rogue, a cleric of Pharasma, and a sensei/ki mystic monk. It's preferable if the fill in character isn't any of those classes, and/or will not significantly outshine them in those roles. A ranged character is preferable, but not necessary for consideration.
This is only for the one scenario, although if you are a good fit for the group and are interested we can discuss becoming a permanent replacement. This is especially likely if you have not happened to have played a lot of scenarios from Tiers 5-9 or 7-11 in PFS Season 4.
If we receive multiple interested parties in the next 24 hours, I'll choose whichever one I think will work best with the party. Posting history, availability for future replacement, and character class will all be taken into consideration.

We're now recruiting two (2) characters to fill in for our Season 4 campaign for Tier 5-9 PFS scenario 4-06 The Green Market. This is not part of PbP Gameday 6.
All the current characters are level 7, so they'll be playing in between tiers regardless of the 5th or 6th players, with the general preference for playing down. Current characters are a paladin/life oracle, a magus/rogue, a cleric of Pharasma, and a sensei/ki mystic monk. It's preferable if the fill in characters aren't any of those classes, and/or will not significantly outshine them in those roles. Ranged and/or full arcane characters are preferable, but not necessary for consideration.
This is only for the one scenario, although if you are a good fit for the group and are interested we can discuss becoming a permanent replacement for one open slot. This is especially likely if you have not happened to have played a lot of scenarios from Tiers 5-9 or 7-11 in PFS Season 4.
If we receive more than two interested parties in the next 24 hours, I'll choose whichever ones I think will work best with the party. Posting history, availability for future replacement, and character class will all be taken into consideration.

Valandil and Heccan please report to the Gameplay and Discussion threads. I'll also need you both to send me a private message with an email address and your PFS# if it's not already in your profile. Ultimately, I'll send you your Chronicle sheets to the provided address.
Lya, thank you for your interest, but since we have a similar character in the group already, I decided to just go with the pure arcane characters.

We have an opening for the Core Emerald Spire campaign that I am running. We are currently starting Level 11: The Tomb of Yarrix, this means we need a character between levels 8-10.
Although a full caster would be preferable, the group is open to anyone who wants to join. We have four characters currently: a rogue/barbarian, a cleric, a druid, and a ranger/bard.
We only need one additional character, but two invitations might be extended based on the characters that apply. Please submit your character either here or send me a PM.

My Core Rogue 10 just survived his third Bonekeep level. He's fairly tough and great at skills, and his preferred tactic is being wary and trying to stack the odds in the party's favor. Would be happiest if he and an arcane caster could join, given the party composition and the toughness of Emerald Spire in general.
I haven't picked his Advanced Talent yet. What would your ruling be on Skill Mastery for UMD?

GM Harker |

If you're interested in joining us, then we'll be happy to have you Krago. With the limited base of high level Core characters, I don't know if we'll be able to find a full caster in a short period of time, but I'm happy to keep it open for a few more days.
As for Skill Mastery for UMD, I'm going to say no, since the reason you normally can't take 10 on UMD isn't due to stress or distraction.

I have a level 8 core archer cleric who would be interested.
It is this profile which looks like it is up to date.
I have played and run the entire thing in normal mode.

GM Harker, can you take both of us? I will give my spot to Olaf if not. The party already has a rogue-type (and while they also have a cleric, that is a class that duplicates well). If you can take both, Krago's +29 Trap Spotter rogue talent will still give him a niche. He can also be a good melee flanking buddy for the rogue/barbarian.
Edit: so glad to see the bard has Open/Close. That is a fantastic cantrip for dungeon crawls. So many scenarios have monsters that just happen to be optimally positioned to attack as soon as you open the door. Opening it from 40' away and offset is a much smarter option.
