Ahm, will abysium be renamed or not

The more I think about it the more I hope the summoner's creature-effect feats get some kind of buff. If they still reference the same actions, and those actions now need athletics checks, that makes feats like Weighty Impact now do basically the same thing as Knockdown, a feat that is eight levels lower.

Given it has nothing to do with the actual plane of the Abyss / The Outer Rifts, I see no reason for it to get a name change.

As a sidenote, this is in my experience entirely untrue. Disrupt Prey is fantastic, because it can disrupt any triggering action, most notably move actions. Rangers are the only characters that can actually force an enemy to stay prone after tripping them, even if it's just for one more action.
? The ranger version is missing the ranged attack trigger and has the hunted prey requirement. Otherwise it is the same as the fighter and champion versions.

Attack of Opportunity can't disrupt move actions.

Disrupt Prey can disrupt Move actions.

Both trigger from and can disrupt Manipulate actions which are often part of range attacks anyway (somatic components or reloading).

Neat! We've been misusing AOO and the like for years. Specifically the ranger disrupt prey lists a move action so it makes me think it would work to disrupt someome attempting to stand, right?

uses a manipulate action, uses a move action, or leaves a square during a move action it’s using.

Same but I don't doubt that this changes in remaster.

The designers said in interviews that one of main reason that made they remove the Refocus limit was because many tables already misunderstand it and already repeat refocus up to maximum.

I don't doubt that they also merges and simplifies many AoO like reactions to a single and all rounder one (this also diminish the book space needed) when they renamed the AoO to Reactive Strike.

there is already the Stand Still monk reaction that blocks movement, and i don't think that if they wanted to change all such reactions to be the same they wouldn't have included it in the pdf, since it is a pretty big change after all and one that is easily documented in a paragraph or so (just put the names of the reactions and basically say they all now have "this" text)
