Making a hail Mary play and calling a playtest for a 2e Medium class.
Not Inquisitor ?
I /want/ Inquisitor, and can easily imagine a book with the two of them… but if I’m calling the shot on the next classes we see, Medium is the one I feel good about the odds for. I’d gladly take both :p
Those two plus Shaman and Kineticist are what I’m truly clamoring for out of what we still don’t have in 2e.

I would be very surprised if Inquisitor was released right after thaumaturge. They have a lot in common, mechanically, imo. Feel the same way about psychic and kineticist

The Inquisitor is presumably a Wisdom class, and the Kineticist likely isn't a caster at all, so I don't really see much similarity here.

They did specifically mention that the Inquisitor was one of the inspirations for the Thaumaturge. Not saying that this is now the Inquisitor, but I wouldn't be shocked if that turned out to be the case

If I was to look at that schedule, I would think no new products are being announced. But at the very least we have the teases in this thread, so there's one new thing? Too bad it's not noted when it will be talked about, would be nice to know when it is. I'm sure the keynote will address it

This is usually where we would hear about upcoming releases with art previews and announcements. And from previous years, we might get some more tidbits about these books in respective panels later in the weekend: Secrets of Golarion for Lost Omens line, Golarion Adventures for any standalone adventures, and Pathfinder Design Q&A for mechanics of core line books.
I expect pretty fleeting announcements for a new rulebook in 2023 and the first AP of next year. QftFF got a title drop and single piece of art at the last Paizocon.

I wasn't really expecting one here (wanting, but not expecting); but I am cautiously curious if we will get a playtest announcement during the Inside Paizo Playtesting segment on Sunday. Wpuld be a fitting place to announce one. If so, I'm putting my name in the hat for Inquisitor playtest.
Also, since we are less than a week out, I'm going to double down on my guess and stick with an Advanced Ancestry Guide and/or Advanced Class Guide for 2e. As much as I want High Seas, likely won't be announced here.

I think any Lost Omens announcement wouldn’t happen until Gen Con - but then again, the Impossible Lands book wasn’t announced at a con at all (other than its accidental mention last year), the product page just went up one day.
I'm expecting at least one announcement, which is hard to really tie down given we have two product lines, not including adventures. If I had to make a hard guess, I'd say a playtest. We are coming up on June and GenCon is in August. Iirc, each test was a month long, right? So June for active playtesting, July they'll process the info, and August, during GenCon, they may discuss the results. Lines up with the timeline of the last playtest. I could be wrong though, since they did mention slowing down on playtesting.
That would be my only real guess honestly. You're probably right in saying we won't get a Lost Omens announcement here, given we have Impossible Lands and Travel Guide. And I don't expect a Rulebook announcement until GenCon personally. They could maybe announce one of next year's APs, but I highly doubt that as well, since Blood Lords hasn't released yet. Again, maybe feels like another GenCon announcement. Could see a standalone adventure or a one-off.
Have we ever had a book with classes drop in Q1? Any rulebook announced at PaizoCon is likely to be targeting the first bit of 2023.
EDIT: Firming up my guesses on new product announcement here being the first AP of 2023 and something like Book of the Dead (a rulebook without classes), though what the contents could be is an utter mystery to me. I don’t expect another playtest until Gen Con.
Keeping my expectations low, so that I can be properly surprised when they hit us with an Inquisitor/Shaman playtest and Lost Omens: Fallen Razatlan :p

Back in 1st edition, Ultimate Magic (with the magus), Unchained (if you count unchained classes as new) and Ultimate Intrigue (with the vigilante) were Q1 releases, so there is some historical precedent. Everything else was pretty much always targeting GenCon or later, though.
(No such precedent in 2e yet obviously.)
In 2e, no. But a playtest wouldn't have to correlate to a Q1 drop. After all, DA is releasing 10 months after the playtest.
I'm trying not to hope for too much lest I get let down, but I don't think it would be too crazy for a book with classes to be announced.
On the one hand, it seems like development might be slowing a smidge. That's totally okay, they were putting out a ton right out the gate for 2e, and then the company itself had (has) a lot to work through and turnover to deal with. Paizo has even said that they wouldn't keep up the pace they started with in this edition.
On the other hand, a year and a half between class books doesn't seem too crazy. Dark archive in August and then a new book in may-ish doesn't seem like a ton of crunch to me (who knows very little of the process, admittedly), especially compared to four classes a year.

If it is going to be a 3 volume AP? It is a good bet for sure given the structure of the latest two years though.
I'd love another 11-20 one, high level play is where I think the system shines so having something I could run when my Ruby Phoenix game is done would be the dream.

Considering storefront will update with January's lineup at the end of the month, presumably with the next Pathfinder Adventure Path, I'd be kind of shocked if the new AP wasn't announced. And while I don't think Sayre has specifically confirmed the next rulebook will be at Gencon, his reddit game seems to be pretty heavily implying it'll be there. Figure those will probably be the extent of new announcements before Gencon though.

The last time we had a seminar called Introduction to Paizo Playtesting we got Pathfinder 2e. Along with the Drift Crisis, I am going to guess we are getting Starfinder 2e. Just a random guess.

I would be very happy with a Mythic book. I am pretty happy with the state of things after the release of Secrets of Magic and Guns and Gears. The book of the dead was the icing on the cake.
With the Secrets of Magic and Guns and Gears coming back to back like they did and Dark Archive releasing soon. I think we are on the 2 class a year release schedule now. That book with the 2 classes typically has released in the summer around Gen Con.
I do hope the book they talk about releasing is Mythic but may still be too early yet.
Does anyone remember how many years into Pathfinder 1e it released in. I want to say year 4?
Core Rulebook for 1e was released 2009. Mythic Adventures was 2013. So yea, about 4 years.
Core Rulebook for 2e was released 2019 and it is now 2022, which would put as at 3 years. One year off, but an early release of Mythic rules wouldn't be too bad, especially if it gets proper support.
As far as an AP announcement, idk, just feels weird to get one before Blood Lords is out in the wild. But that's my personally feeling on it, and certainly not a conclusion based on release trends. So I could be wrong.
I also feel it too early to see Starfinder 2e. We are in year 6 I think. It wouldn't be a bad time I suppose, but I feel like Paizo would want push PF2 a bit more to see what works, which will likely influence SF2. Could be wrong though.
What did we see announced last PaizoCon?
Book of the Dead and Quest for the Frozen Flame + Blood Lord teaser, I believe Dark Archive was GenCon.

The Mwangi Expanse supplement had six, so assuming the same number here, I’d guess Kashrishi, Ratajin, Vanara, Vishkanya, Wyvaran, and some sort of ooze-folk out of Nex. I think they’ll go heavy on Vudran options from Jalmeray, to put the tools for Vudran campaigns in out hands.

For the last several years, they've consistently announced the first AP of the next year at Paizocon. They have mostly also announced the 2nd half of the year AP at GenCon, but I think Outlaws and Ruby Phoenix altered that expectation a bit. I can't recall offhand the timing of those announcements. Blood Lords was announced at Gencon, Strength of Thousands at PaxOnline.

They confirmed 6 Ancestries in Impossible Lands, iirc.
I could see Wyvaran's as a unique sort of Heritage option for Kobolds that functions similar to Versatile Heritages in its robustness.
If we get an AP, I want a High Seas one. Lol

All Paizo products are announced at least 8 months in advance on the webstore so I do think they rather want to announce it at the con rather than quitely publish it on the webstore.

My gut tells me we're going to get something big in 2024. That's the 50th anniversary of D&D, and WotC is going to go all out in pushing it and IIRC the next edition will be released (6e/5.5/whatever it turns out to be). Paizo's going to need an answer to that. They had the Advanced Class Guide for when 5e was released, so we'll get something on that scale if history is any indication.

It'll most likely be announced at the Keynote, and we know its also his main thing he's discussing at the con-- presumably we'll find out some info in the initial announcement, and some in the Q+A panel, its also possible they're going to sequester a little time for it in the Dark Archive Panel.

And there's a big part of my that hopes that you're absolutely right???
I've had tremendous success using the influence subsystem, and it's great... But having a complete lack of premade statblocks is a small issue, imo. A few arcs ago, my players attended a ball where they chould schmooze and secure resources for their efforts. And it was great! But oh god, having had to prep 14 statblocks was very, very tiring... I can easily come up with a homebrew creature if needed in a minute or two, but these statblocks took time.
Anyways, I'm a fan of social mechanics. and I'd really look forward to any book like that, even if they didn't expand on the influence subsystem.
That aside, I'm willing to bet that we're going to be seeing a Saga Lands book sooner than later. If we do, I hope that we see something interesting about skalds — I never cared too much about them, but after reading the occult section on Secrets of Magics, honestly, I can't think of any other class/archetype/cultural identifier more fitting for the tradition than them, even a little more than bards! (who they might end up being anyways)
Personally, I feel like it's a little unlikely but I'd love to have another playtest. It feels like while since the last one.

I don't actually expect this in the slightest, at least not here, but I'm throwing it into the world to see if it sticks: I am actually sort of interested in seeing something for Pathfinder in a similar vein to Starfinder's Drift Crisis event. A completely optional setting book that somehow changes the world of Golarion on such a scale as to effect the setting as a whole. Again, something optional, but adds a wrinkle to the setting that makes it interesting.

The dream is, of course, an Arcadian release of some sort… but I’ll believe it when I see it.
