Order advice:
↬If you need to make changes to the subscription details after the auth/order creation date, double check the changes applied to both the pending order and the subscription.
↬ If you have a licensed subscription you can choose to have it shipped as soon as possible, or with your monthly subscription shipment. This setting is available on a per subscription basis on your My Subscription page.
↬If you have questions about your individual order or subscriptions, please start a new thread.
EDIT: The Pathfinder Battles cases and incentives are in packaging that is significantly larger that they have been. This means that the cost to ship is going to be larger. If you need to change shipping methods or otherwise make changes to your order please let is know.
EDIT 2: I have changed the auth, begin shipping, and end shipping dates to reflect a delay.
Edit 3: The Pathfinder Battles are no longer part of this auth. They will be authorized separately.

Updated to add the Iconic Heroes Evolved to this months shipping cycle. If your purchase of the Iconic Heroes Evolved set is put into the sidecart, it is currently estimated to ship with October items on this schedule.

David knott 242 |

For the Pathfinder Battles subscription -- Is the choice of "Ship items from this subscription as soon as possible (May ship off-schedule from Paizo monthly releases)" vs. "Ship items from this subscription with Paizo monthly shipments" going to make any difference at all this month?

David knott 242 |

In the past, somebody would post here that they have started the process of generating the order authorizations. Given that nobody has done that and nobody has mentioned receiving the e-mails, I have my doubts that the process has started. I hope somebody proves me wrong by posting that they got their auth e-mails.

David knott 242 |

I can infer that they have started the auth process from the way my "My Subscriptions" page is messed up. Items shipping this month will tend to disappear from that page once this process starts.
But I do hope that the weirder items on that page (such as being offered a choice of society subscriptions when I already have tier 2 Paizo Advantage and did not fall below the minimum after canceling my Starfinder Accessories subscription, or the fact that there is a mention of being charged over $120 for shipping of seven items) clear up by the time the auths finish, or they will be getting a phone call from me come Monday.

Pigraven |

The items from the "My Subscriptions" page have also disappeared. But they were gone as early as yesterday afternoon (Eastern Time). Normally, when things go well with order spawning, it seems to take 24 hours (give or take) for the spawning process itself to complete. However, as others have pointed out, we also normally see a post in this thread alerting us that the process has started. And we usually receive a thread here letting us know it is finished, and to check for orders.
At this point, I don't know what to think. I assume they are busy, hence the lack of communication about order spawning. But it's strange that there wasn't a post to let us know the process started (if it did), and even stranger that nothing has been said if the process WASN'T started after nearly a full 24 hours. It could be that the few of us are at the tail end of the process, and others have had their orders spawn and received emails. Maybe it's just a matter of coincidence that nobody in that particular boat has come forward to say everything is going smoothly for them.
I think I'm going to wait it out until about 8 or 9 pm and check again, around the close of the Paizo work day. If I've still received no word and I haven't received an email or seen any movement on the site by that point, I'll go ahead and inquire again.

Hello folks!
We were waiting for the Battles to get to us before getting the auth started. They have arrived and I am warming the auth up.
I do want to give everyone a heads up that the packaging for the miniatures, both the cases and the incentive, is quite a big larger than they usually are. That means that the cost to ship is going to be larger as well. If you need to change your shipping method or otherwise make changes to the order please let us know. I am going to update the op to say this as well.

Hello folks,
I am back and with news none of you want. Due to an issue that we are currently looking into the auth is being pushed back to Monday. Likewise the end shipping date is changing to Wednesday, October 16. I will be updating the op with this information.
Appreciate the heads up, letting us know is far better than us sitting around guessing :D

MiqoRems |

So there's a solid chance the shipment won't arrive until significantly past the street date? That's... disappointing. :-/

I am reassured. My account page makes it seem that the Character Guide is being skipped in my subscription. I will assume for now that it is just in a limbo state until auth happens. I will delay freaking out until Tuesday at the earliest.

David knott 242 |

From Diego's posting, it looks like some part of the prep for running the auths is what puts the current month's shipments into limbo. In the past, I never looked for that to happen until they posted that they had started the auths.

The auth has been unleashed. Folks should start getting their authorization emails.
The Pathfinder Battles are no longer part of this auth. We are looking closely at how the unexpected difference in size and weight will affect subscribers. So we will be doing them separately. If you get your email confirmation and it doesn't have the Battles don't be surprised. I will be updating the OP to reflect this.

Yoshua |

Also did not get an Auth email. Can't wait to get my hands on the battles case, but also wonder how long it will take to sort out the shipping situation.
Also wondering what the costs for shipping will be and if they are authorizing 2 separate orders does that mean 2 shipments?

David knott 242 |

I suspect that the beginning of shipping won't be tomorrow because many of us haven't received our auth e-mails yet. They generally want to allow time to address issues from those e-mails before they begin shipping.

![]() |

The latest authorisation appears to be going to my old Visa card and not the new one I put into the system. I can’t change it and I genuinely thought I had deleted the old number anyhow.
Will we also get notification of the cost of the PFB set. If the cost of shipping is so much higher I may be forced to cancel.

Does this mean the Battles products will ship at a later date?

My order, Order# 8184209, spawned, but it appears the Legacy AP discount did not apply on my Lost Omens book. It should be $29.74 instead of the regular $34.99.
Again, that's Order 8184209
For the record, this is now three spawning periods in a row where the Legacy Discount has failed to apply on the initial spawn. While it is nice that it was eventually fixed the last two times, it's a bit frustrating it has happened again.

Discounts as a whole appeared to be broken.
In my pending subscription order (#8180044),
and the sidecart order included with it (#7914022),
almost every item has the wrong discount applied.
I've described this in more detail in a thread on the Customer Service subforum

Steve Geddes |

What is the expected discount structure? I'm not sure if mine is calculating correctly or not.
I got 15% off everything but 30% off the PFBattles:Iconic Heroes Evolved and 30% off the PF Adventure Path. Is that last one the "legacy" advantage or something? I thought everything was going to be 15% across the board now, but the legacy deal meant you only needed one subscription to be eligible (?)

![]() |

I believe the Legacy advantage means that as long as you keep the Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription (which is what used to earn the 15% Paizo Advantage discount) you qualify for that discount even if you don't subscribe to four or more qualifying product lines (the new way to earn Paizo Advantage).
As a Pathfinder Battles subscriber you should be getting 30% off the Iconic Heroes Evolved set (which you are). I'm not sure why you seem to be getting 30% off the Pathfinder Adventure Path; I would expect that to only get the 15% Paizo Advantage discount (plus the free PDF, of course).

Order 8161105. If you'd like I can go ahead and check the cost of shipping for the Battles case & case premium.
(I am almost positive it can't be combined with shipping for any other items).

I updated the order and your subscription to what I believe is the correct new number. Please review the email confirmation I sent to ensure its correct.
I also set up a suspended order for the battles case so you can review what the shipping would be on that, I sent you an email of what the order looks like currently.

Discount applied. I'm also seeing that our system is having a difficult time determining which payment method is the one set to your subscriptions. If you could reply to the confirmation email or give us a call to let us know the last four digits of the correct card, we will get that squared away.
(Edit: nm, I see the order is covered by store credit, however, we still need to know which card the subscriptions should be attached to).

I just selected the card for which they can be attached, since maybe your system requires one. However, I'll only ever be using store credit from here on out (as I have been for the last year+), so hopefully this isn't a problem for the future. (It hasn't been for most of the past year, once Diego and I got things squared away). This is also the reason why I have posted every so often about the importance of getting a fairly accurate description as quickly as possible of what shipping would be each month. (And why it was hard to get that when the Battles incentive price and shipping weight kept changing, such as with the two individual Elementals).
However, because I now realize that sometimes you don't know the exact details until the product literally arrives at the warehouse, advance notice isn't always something I can count on. And because my way of ordering (with store credit) is the anomaly here, I've since decided to just purchase more store credit than I clearly need every month. This way, no matter what bugs may occur (like the Paizo Advantage not applying) or hiccups pop up (different weight and increased shipping for Battles/Incentive) I am always covered. I figure if an issue does arise on the Paizo end of things, I can always get it fixed retroactively, instead of taking the chance of not having enough store credit (my end of things). Better to be safe than sorry.
Speaking of the Battles line, it currently shows that my Battles case will cost roughly $331.93 with shipping. That doesn't include the $24.99 for the incentive, nor any extra cost for incentive shipping. Adding the incentive makes it a total of $356.92, with an unknown shipping price for that incentive. I can't imagine the shipping for the incentive alone is over $40.00. And as far as I know, the $10.00 shipping Paizo pays on orders over $100 hasn't been applied to that suggested shipping cost on the case yet. So I'm pretty sure the $407.+ I still have in store credit will cover the total Battles case, incentive, and shipping cost. Can you confirm this on your end?

My understanding is that the "Legacy Advantage" applies in two big ways:
1. It retains for PF1 Adventure Path subscribers the ability to retain their (near) site-wide 15% Paizo Advantage on products and other subscriptions alike without needing four or more subscriptions.
2. It retains the 30% off the Pathfinder Adventure Path subscriptions we were getting pre-PF2.
The "Legacy Advantage" applies for those people who were signed up for the Adventure Path during the PF1 run, and the switch over to PF2.
In other words, the "Legacy Advantage" is a way to maintain the status quo for the many long-time subscribers like Steve and me (and many, many others).
If you signed up post-PF1, the Adventure Path subscription counts as just one of FOUR total subscriptions you need to obtain the 15% (near) site-wide Pathfinder Advantage. And from what I can tell, under this deal you only get 15% off the Adventure Path, effectively dropping the price from $24.99 to $21.24. (Instead of down to the 30% off price of $17.49).

You're right - I'd forgotten those used to be at a 30% discount
(It was a long time ago that I started my AP subscription; 2012, IIRC)

The Pathfinder Adventure Path Legacy Advantage is 30% off the cover price of Adventure Paths that are released as part of the subscription and 15% off of qualifying paizo.com items.
