We have barely edged out Team Undo Redo for 5th, but Monolith Productions, perhaps seeing Paizo creeping up towards their spot, gained a big defensive advantage when one of their team members, who had already donated $1,000 himself, received another $1,000 anonymous donation that makes him the #1 individual fundraiser in the whole tournament. Nicely done Monolith; it's going to be really hard for us to edge them out and take 4th, now, although if we managed to do so, it would put 2nd or 3rd in play (Bungie's nifty Destiny badge incentive means 1st place is way out of reach for anyone else). Remember, this is for how many power-ups we'll get, so it's still very possible to win with fewer power-ups, much like our first Gauntlet team did!

So glad to see the Fighter cross that ever important line! Looking forward to seeing what this extra bit of info will be!

So in anticipation of each class reaching $500, (I'm optimistic) what SPECIFICALLY would you like to see each classes respective blogs be about? I would love for Mark to go into juicy detail about how the Paladin's Smite Evil works in the Playtest. How about you guys?

It should be a pretty nice booster shot for each one, as befits everyone's generosity. For instance, the entire fighter blog was around 1,000 words, and I'm shooting for 400 to 500 words per qualifying class. Which could mean the final blog is over twice as long as the fighter blog if we get all four classes and the bonus.

Oh man, I'm not sure if my heart is ready for all this. I'll try to keep it prepared for sure. I don't normally like shots, but this one isn't the pointy needle type that interacts with me, so I say bring it on.

Fellow nerds, I’m sure that Andrew and Luis are lovely people, but if we would have spread out the donations a little more evenly, we would have hit the milestones for each class already.

Unless Paizo would just be cool saying 2,000 total is good enough for each class to get the extra blog.

We actually need to hit another big goal: $3,000 overall.

We're at 72% of that goal at the moment

Each individual team member must hit her goal to get the class info, but the extras are helping unlock the $3,000 secret extra (also some people donated to the team directly, which also helps for the $3,000 but not the classes). That said, the people who put Andrew so far ahead of $500 were probably his relatives (though White is a common enough last name, so I guess it's not guaranteed), so it would probably be weird for them to have donated to someone else!

When's the due date? While I shouldn't spend much... If it gets down to the wire... I did save some money by GMing at Momocon for PFS so that saved me money on a badge.

I was eyeing some furniture minis to make my maps pop a bit more... but... Paladin info...

The donation page says 6 days remaining. The tournament will happen on Sunday.

Folks the total is $2, 279. Another seventy bucks at Mark will net us a Paladin blog update. Go, team! Remember that small donations count for this!

Can I pledge to not get a paladin update? ;-)

I'm working on that, I gotta buy 6 flip mats for Momocon though :P

Liberty's Edge

Paladin's at $448, just a little more than $50 more and we're there on everything.

Yeah, the timing on this is really rough.

Gave what I could afford out of my budget and even so will be skipping a meal or three this week to make it happen (with a convention I'm heading to next week in the SeaTac area have to make sure there's enough money just in case).

Humility, it's what's for dinner.

For those wanting to donate but the $15 is out of your budget there is a Enter Another Amount at the very bottom of the options (donating $1 the transaction fee comes out to $0.04 :3), every little bit helps!

This isn't an attempt to hustle anyone who hasn't donated, I'm just bringing it up since it's at the very bottom of the donation amount options so it probably gets missed a lot.

Can we put down money to not get the Paladin blog? I think it would be easier on the community managers.

Yeah, I wound up using the Enter Another Amount so that I could donate a ten dollar increment. Donate what you can afford — we want no one skipping meals or essentials.

Hmm

All classes unlocked! Undo/Redo hasn't budged, so we're making it harder to shake us from 5th, as we move onward toward the bonus goal.

Monolith grabbed another 3 $500 donations and is now actually perched in 2nd, making Geek Nation at $4,065 the next team to beat (followed by the HBO Digital Products team that does the dragons in Game of Thrones at 3rd). I think it's amazing that we made it to 5th place without any of the $500 to $1,000 donations a lot of the other top teams have; thanks to everyone for your continuing generosity to this worthy cause! For now, we're shoring up our defenses in case one of the other teams tries to move on 5th place, and if we beat $3,000 significantly before the tournament, we'll have to talk as a team about whether to offer you guys even moar bonus to shoot for a little higher.

$564 dollars to go for the extra secret blog, in case anyone else had trouble finding the team total (which is slightly higher than the individuals added together, much like Pathfinder it's greater than the sum of it's parts).

Out of curiosity, what does money donated on the generic Paizo page count toward?

(I donated on that page without realizing I wouldn't get an option to allocate the donation afterward...)

EDIT: And it would have gone to the fighter. Sorry Luis! :P

Well how about adding an honorary fifth team member championing the alchemist. (At least I think that's the only blogged about class missing a champion). Or you can have a Wednesday blog post about another class and add their honorary team member :)

I am excited for tantalizing secrets and merely slightly happy to help my fellow man.

Donated! And also count me in on wanting more Alchemist info, since that's a revealed class yet doesn't have a person assigned to it :)

So, all of the classes are getting a bonus blog already? Cool! I was wondering whether I'd have to split my donation among every team member but now I'll donate through the Paizo team itself then.
