Most certainly not.

Same issue here- can't access my downloads or anything similar. If I had to make a wild guess, I'd wager it has something to do with the HumbleBundle deal going on for Pathfinder stuff.

I can't access the messageboards at all. I can click on a link t a specific thread, but if I try to click on anything else, or even attempt to fully type out the url, it goes back to the main paizo.com page.

Uh-oh, she found my baseless accusations. I didn't think she would read this thread.

DAMMIT MERISIEL!

Okay, replying was the only way I could get to a box to type anything, even on this page. I think from some of captain yesterday's comments it's a board-wide thing, but, just in case it helps, I'm mentioning that my Discussion tab in my my current campaign-thingy seems to work, but my Campaign tab does not.

I'm posting it in this page, instead of a different thread, because this is the only page I can "load" (and I can't really load it well, obviously) that's in the Website Feedback threads. I can't navigate the actual Message Boards at all.

See, that's the difference 'tween you an' me, kid. You haven't learned not ta blink yet. Once you get that, you won't miss a thing.

Liberty's Edge

I am sweating bullets. I only have 1 hour tonight and another 2 tomorrow night to prep a table of The Stolen Heir... I have never downloaded it nor read it. I am an overprepper. this is going to drive me insane.

I smell me a fried server somewhere...

Dark Archive

~evil laughter~ First Paizo, then the world!!!

This is really interesting. Near as I can tell all the threads work, but none of the messageboard hubs do. My user profile still works so I can check on my PbPs, and I can click links to threads or use the URL bar t go directly to one, but Gamer Life, Pathfinder RPG, etc. are either unable to load or instantly redirect to the paizo.com page.

I suspect there's an internal mapping issue and it's going to the default which is paizo.com. A direct link works because it's 'deep linked' directly to where it needs to go, but the high level hubs are affected.

Sovereign Court

Since it's affecting account services and download management, possibly something to do with secure server architecture?

OHH NOO!

I can't access My Downloads either, I hope they fix it soon. I'll be patient, Paizo has yet to let me down. They're the only company I'm still giving money to wantonly. Everything else I budget carefully.

Might I suggest kicking it a little more gently?

I think it is either time for me to filk or for me to go to bed. With the boards messed up... Maybe I can catch up on my sleep. It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Hmm

Might want to double check the post times on posts before you reply. That particular post was posted Jun 20, 2016, 12:52 pm.

This thread got necro'd from the last time this happened.

Yes. Something got broken on the website and we're pretty sure what broke it but are at a loss how to fix it right now. Basically this happened after much of the staff left and is redirecting a bunch of links to the front page. It's likely related to a bad configuration but the person most likely to understand what just happened was sick today. And everyone else was gone for the day except for Chris and myself and I'm afraid this is beyond the powers of either of us to figure out without making things worse. Sorry about the issue. I don't expect that it will be a great big problem but we may have to rebuild some links and some things that link to or depend on those links. We'll see.

Thanks, Lissa. Who'd be a system administrator? *shudder*
Gives me nightmares just thinking about it!

It would be nice if more people assumed basic competence in other people rather than jumping to "correct" them.

Whaddaya gonna do? I don't get my panties in a twist over forum posts. Some do.

I'm still holding on to captain yesterday alias creation. Seems plausible, easy target, what the heck.

Strange that we can go straight to a thread, but nothing else.

I blame FaWtL they've done this sort of thing before (why do you think there's been six of them).

Hold on... I'm still implicating myself... it was Bill, I saw him do it!!

Yes, yes you are. It's a deep seated psychological need to confess your sins.

The Exchange

Actually it was:

1. Me having a free day.
2. when the Qadira pdf was to be released.
3. Me being giddy with joy because I was waiting for that like forever.

So it's probably Norgorber playing a prank on me

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Unfortunately, my entertainment options are limited atm, and I was hoping to burn some time browsing the forums before trying to sleep.

Hey Wormy,

Rysky found a work around.

1. Go to product page.
2. Try to access download from there, get kicked back to main Paizo page.
3. Go back to product page immediately and try again.

Supposedly that works.

I'm going to call it The Rysky Reach Around. :-)

Before I logged in, I could access the messageboards via paizo.com/threads. After logging in, I get the Too Many Requests message.

Do you find yourself in need of a good advocate? Lord Wraithstrike has much experiance as a rules lawyer how hard could criminal charges be?

I dl'd it last week but my phone doesn't deal well with large PDFs. It did OK with Healer's Handbook, though.

Different set of links, I'd bet. On my phone, it's almost impossible to get anywhere without hitting the secure site first. There was a thread about the issue a while ago.

Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber

Go to the product page for whatever you have a valid download for. At the top, there is a "Click here to see..." link to the download. It will take you to the individual download for that product (you may get a sign in link first).

On the plus side, I feel I am in rare and special company. The only people who have been posting here are users smart enough to get around the website bug, and interested enough in the welfare of the site to come to this thread. :)

Just do what I do. Random encounter filler and a trip into town to buy and sell things. Or, have them stumble and fall down a hole into a dungeon that takes all night to get out of.

You could try going to each individual product page (they have a tab for downloading stuff) if you've already redeemed your code, just search for the product on google and the Paizo webstore should be the first or second hit.

Hope this helps.

Just heard back that this tactic won't work :(

Sorry.

WAIT! I GOT IT TO WORK!

When you go to the Download tab on the product page and login there it throws you out but if you go right back to the product page it will let you download stuff, I was able to get my copy of Wayfinder 16!

Try this

Shadow Lodge

Do we have an estimated repair time? I have a scenario to run tonight, and I haven't been able to download since yesterday evening. If we don't, is there a work-around for people needing downloads for events?

Ha, thanks, you made my day :)

By the way, I might have accidentally found an even easier way to download your producz. If you're on the product page of a product you bought, at the top there is the note that you purchased it.

If you're using the link under " "Click here" to see the download you have for this product ", it seems that you're directly redirected to the related download page. Went smoothly with the Qadira book and I just tried it with an older book I bought and could repeat the process.

Now the only thing I need to worry about may be the grey man under my window. Maybe I shouldn't have accused the keeper of secrets of playing pranks. Oh, wait, where's he gone now?
