~shakes my head sadly~ I am so disappointed in you, DungeonmasterRichard. You should know better. You just pop in and claim that something is wrong, then berate their opinion of some point or another.

~gives a wicked smile and disappears~

I humbly ask your forgiveness.

I want to play Hearts of Iron IV really bad right now, but I have homework due in the morning.

My life is truly unjust.

What nation are you playing?

I'm not, I have homework.

I would be playing America, and it'd be Kaiserreich.

Edit: Actually, Canada. Totally Canada.

Or I could do my homework instead of fantasizing about what country I'd be playing in the video game I'd be playing if I didn't have to do homework.

~cracks the whip~ Get to work on your homework or it is to the galleys in chains for you!

Hey, everyone. I know it's just a couple of weeks before my first anniversary here on the forums, but it's close enough. So I'd like to say a few things before I forget them. First off, I'm glad to have survived my first year on the forums, even if it's mostly just listening to others. I'd like to think that I've become a better Human Being just by listening to others with differing viewpoints and opinions. And I'd like to think that I've grown wiser in the process.

I'd like to thank everyone for being kind, caring, and compassionate towards me, a near total stranger. Not just about my recently diagnosed tumor, but everything else. Including my (still) unresolved grieving over the 1997 suicide of a brother. It means a lot to me, possibly more than anyone will ever know. Likewise, I've also shared in your joys and sorrows.

Each and every one of you, on this thread and others, has become like family to me, and I love you all. And this year, I'll not let my Birthday slip by without telling anyone.

~slaps you across the back of the head~ Enough of that mushy stuff. That ditch needs to be dug! Get to work or we will send you to the galley in chains to row for the rest of your life!!!

Of course you're too Lawful Good to steal an idea. Whenever I see you I think "Now there's a bastion of Law and Good. He is everything a Paladin aspires to be." So, I therefore SPECIFICALLY DO NOT GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO USE IT! ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD MAY, BUT NOT YOU!! NO NO NO NO NO NO NEVER NOT GONNA HAPPEN NO!!!!

Oh, go ahead and use it if you want.

LOL. *I* am the one in danger of legal action against me for charging too little rent for all these years,

Okay, but, like, why is this a thing?

As in: why, on this entire earth, would you be in legal trouble for not charging "enough" money?

"Enough" by what standard?

Who declares something "enough" and why is that the lower limit you could charge?

Since when is this ever a thing?

This is fundamentally baffling to me.

Sure, I'll post legal stuff while nekkid. Why not?

Freehold, EO, please! Let's be reasonable! Let's not bicker and argue about which device is better or functions or is plugged in at the moment or is not plugged in or who's planning or plotting the downfall or overthrow of whom; instead can we just all agree to get TL a new set of tires and/or his own self-sustaining "take care of his car" fund? I think that's a much better idea!

(Nothing in particular happened, I just want a new tires that won't instantly tell me they're low on tire pressure with every little weather change. Also, I like having money to take care of things. Money's annoying, actually, but it's frustratingly useful...)

NEVER!!!
