I think the bottom 15-20% that got culled were all of the REALLY HORRENDOUS "templates".

Murrr. I like this item, but I'd like it a lot more if it was a 'finite charges and then it loses its magic forever' quasi-consumable and not a 'good as new each day'. Seems underpriced for the latter.

The 5e DMG was all Greatest Hits magic items. As long as you didn't make a Wand of Magic Missiles or a Belt of Giant Strength you should be fine.
