Low wisdom and intelligence sorcerer (summoner) with a familiar (or eidolon) that has higher wisdom and intelligence than the caster and is really running the show.

The Eidolon's name is, of course, Jeeves.

Oooh, a nice Jeeves & Wooster routine would be cool!

Hahahahahahahah! I get it. King Dedede. Well played.

A Human Druid with eye for talent and an Ape Companion smart enough to use firearms.

Has anyone posted Disney's Robin Hood?

Kitsune summoner with Hunter's Eye trait (for longbow proficiency)

Biped Eidolon with claws = Little John (throw a crossbow proficiency on him)

I had him fully stated out ... somewhere ...

I think kitsune ranger would be a better build for him, using the variant no magic rules.

The funniest character I had was a 15 year old human wizard, Teleportation subschool. His familiar was a piglet, and they we're both complete cowards. He would spend the first half of a fight buffing the party and using Knowledge to list their foes weaknesses, and the second half teleporting around for a place to hide. That's not a reference, he was just fun.

My current character is a Skinwalker Brawler(Wild Child) with a wolf companion. He and the party's kitsune ninja are from the same hometown.

A recent one for me, a child rogue. He was recruited when his orphanage was bought and refurbished by a philanthropist. In reality it was a successful rogue who built a hidden room in the basement for the training of some of the more promising children to become rogues. This all came about because I built the basic structure for said rogue trainer while perusing through ultimate campaign

I think one of my favorites was the Drow Bard with a HORRID wisdom score. :D
Massive Charisma, but terrible wisdom. She was prone to pull pranks and once tripped a Quisling who was delivering drinks in a tavern, because she wanted to see what happened.

Both of my funny ideas are for Paladins. First, there's the two fisted smiter, wielding knuckles with SMITE emblazoned on the left one and EVIL emblazoned on the right one. The other one I have is basically Teddy Roosevelt as a Paladin. Running around with a bowie knife yelling, "Ha ha! BULLY!" as he smites.

Maybe it's just me, but I find these two ideas hilarious.

But you got to have Little John!

Rogue Archtype Thug? lol

Seriously though, he'd just be a straight up fighter or maybe a brawler.

I'm trying to remember the original. Wasn't he supposed to be a cast out clergyman? So I'd probably do a few levels of cleric then brawler after that.

I think we're trying to go with the Disney version, I think the rogue thug is the best bet, he was handy at disguise, a thief, big and strong, but I seem to remember him playing music, so I'm thinking non magical bard or rogue thug being the best.

Big and strong + Musician = Skald? Everything else is just where you spend your skill points.

Nah, Skald is Wil Scarlet. I'd say the Rogue Thug.

Liranys wrote:

I'm just admittedly very biased. We have a Thug Rogue in our Age of Worms party. He's... pretty useless, and spends most of his time begging the rest of the party to throw status effects on the bad guys because they'll make him more effective. (We're a Paladin, a Zen Archer Monk, and a Warmage. Status effects are not a thing we do much of.) Little John was a bit more self-sufficient and capable, IMO.

Brawler then. They seem pretty useful with the right feats and stuff.

He could possibly be a Barbarian, but not sure if he ever really flew into a rage.

Not in the Disney version. That was more of the Friar. :)

I also seem to remember Tuck bonking people over the head with a bludgeoning instrument, just make a cleric without the armor.

Tuck is definitely a cleric.

I had a GM once who let me build what was basically the Monkey King in 3.5. He was a spirit folk monk with a prestige class from Dragon Magazine, the Shen class. Eventually it would have allowed him to turn into a monkey once a day. The GM gave him a magical quarterstaff that would have developed new abilities over time so it could be reduced or enlarged in size. I was also angling for getting him some winged boots or a ring of fly to mimic Sun Wukong's flying cloud.

But the campaign came to a premature end, so I never got to see how close I could get my character build to the source inspiration. :(

A while ago I had the idea for a LG "cleric" of Razmir. It was actually going to be a Witch (Scarred Witch Doctor) with the healing patron. She discovered a mask that gave her access to magical power, and was convinced by some Razmiri priests that the mask was itself a gift from The Living God. The witch was separated from the priests before she could be fully initiated, and so came away with the idea that Razmir was the solution to all of the world's problems.

She was going to be used in Wrath of the Righteous; essentially, she believed that Razmir's power was linked to how many people swore loyalty to him, and that if she became a role model in the Worldwound, she could convert some over to be faithfuls of Razmir. Unlike the other gods, Razmir was willing to directly interfere with the rest of the world, and would be able to "fix" the Worldwound once he gained enough power.

I don't know how it would have worked out in practice, but I always liked the idea of a completely misled, "righteous" woman who was sworn to a completely corrupt idea with complete ignorance.

I've a friend who built Phryne Fisher. Human gunslinger/investigator. She has stilettos of spider climbing. Pretty sure she has the Extremely Fashionable trait as well.

Perhaps more like "1,000,000% vulnerability to acid" (and that bucketful just happened to have the slightest pH imbalance....).

Prehensile mustache wielding Hex Magus named The Great Mambini.

Calvin and Hobbes now have their own thread.

Unorthodox Oracle build: whatever your Mystery, it comes with a prohibition against brushing your teeth (thereby conferring the Wasting Curse reskinned as bad breath) or wearing any footwear (thereby causing your feet to develop painful calluses, thus giving you the Lame Curse). Dump STR and CON. This gets you a Super Fragile Callused Mystic Hexed by Halitosis.

A human vivisectionist chirurgeon alchemist with the spontaneous healing discovery, a focus on the cure x wounds series of extracts, a repeating crossbow and this magic item:

Spoiler:

Aura Faint Necromancy CL 3 Slot - Price 24,000 gp
This allows spellcasters to deliver touch spells (or extracts in the case of alchemists) at range, as if using the spectral hand spell.
Construction: Craft Wondrous Item, Spectral Hand, 12,000 gp

Any guesses?

^Nope -- I don't think I've seen this one.

Hint:

Press for hint:
He lost his medical license for removing a patient's skeleton.

^

My best guess:
Gilderoy Lockheart in the Harry Potter series comes closest I can think of to removing a patient's skeleton, but he just removed arm bones, not the whole skeleton, and he doesn't fit the rest of the description. EDIT: And as far as I know he never pretended to have a medical license.

Scarab Sages

My Guesses:
Either the scientist who gave Wolverine his adamantium skeleton (no idea who that would be, unless it happens to be the same guy Peter Dinkelage recently played in Days of Future Past)

OR

Dr. Josef Mengele as portrayed in Wolfenstein 3-D, where he tosses syringes at you.

Right country, wrong person. (Not actually a real person, either)

Hint:
He's from a very popular Valve game.

^

My lack of guess:
Well, that would explain why I haven't heard of him.

A Desnian (as in, working for Desna) assassin who calls himself "Bitterfly", and has a mostly sulky attitude except for the tendency to tell incredibly bad puns before he delivers kills. Not even because he finds them funny himself, but mostly so that his enemies die suffering.

A chaotic good female sorceror(nanite bloodline)/barbarian (Titan Mauler)/brawler who fights with two large sawtooth sabers and wears a unique intelligent form of protection

As for a funny character idea, I'm going with the barmaid, an alcoholic, true/chaotic neutral mutagenic mauler who ended up spending the first 2 years of her adventuring career working for a former rogue/cleric who owned her ass(still kind of does) after she gambled the last of her money away in a card game(before receiving the bill). Since then she is contractually obliged to wear here uniform over her armour.

Aye, such a 'dead' giveaway. But come on, that'd be awesome.
