I'm a very silly person. I love to laugh. My DM style follows this. I only run games in person and right now just at Cons. I tend to be very goofy with my games. The characters are generally overpowered and no magical item behaves exactly as you would expect it, because what's the fun in that? Yes a ring of Pro is still a ring of Pro, but it might also make you grow whiskers or change your hair color to neon blue.
Ridiculous, goofy and insane magical items are my favorite things in the world. I also run around with a Critical Failure list that is not normal. Not normal at all. In fact, you're almost as likely to have something good happen as something bad or just downright ridiculous. (Yes, that was a flock of rabbits. Yes, they just flew past you. Yes, you were distracted and missed your swing).
