Finally getting around to updating Taldidri for the 1.3 update. From what I can tell, all that affects him is:

* Untrained skills take another -2 (I hadn't listed any untrained skills on this character sheet, but will keep this in mind); and
* Wizards get two more trained skills at level 1 (4+INT instead of 2+INT, in addition to be trained in Arcana for free). So, he'll add training in Medicine and Diplomacy.

Things we know:

Oozes are popping up from the sewers
Someone is bumping off ex-slaves from a list made by Wennel Ardonay, including Justerian

List Names: Justerian, Remna, Aedo, Nelfurhin, Omoak

Justerian (one such ex-slave)

  • Dahlia (his boss at the restaurant) pointed us towards Justerian's old mansion which was quite the mess.
  • Justerian probably worshipped Milani who has a rose growing amidst bloody cobblestones as the holy symbol
  • Justerian was attacked by undead, presumably under the control of a worshipper of Urgathoa.
  • Justerian lived in squalor with bats and oozes (oozes again) even though some W would have helped him (Wennel Ardonay?)

    I don't have a -1501 character, I just created an alias and ran it for the playtest. What do I need to do?

    I've mostly been GMing playtest stuff, so this has been a cool experience! My perceived flaws in how things work in PF2E seem far less pronounced from the player side of the screen. OTOH the 3-action system is just as cool as my own players were saying it was.

    All I need is your base PFS number, Flynt (and Taldridi, and Grinwald). And you can just create a Playtest character like a regular PFS character, just select the playtest campaign instead.

    And I hope you guys had fun, but one thing I'll say, is that I've run Rose Street a bunch, and updated Goblins attack Sandpoint a bunch in order to teach people the new system. If this wasn't your cup of tea, consider trying at least one more scenario :)

    Thanks again for taking the time to run us through this playtest scenario, GM...you've given me a clearer idea and feel for the new version. I still prefer PF1.0; I will probably be in wait and see mode until the finished product comes out next year. It'll be interesting to see how much it changes from its current form...

    How do we do our own 'reporting'? This is the first 2e game I've played.

    But the short answer is that you get Playtest Points for scenarios you play or GM. The most important tracking for those happens online when I report them, but the paper (or digital, however you do it) tracking is designed as a backup.
