The redemption rules are listed in the Player's Guide. I would talk to your GM to make sure they are also aware of the rules. Then they could possibly add some chances/encounters for you to earn penances throughout the first few parts of the book.

Also, I don't know what your party looks like, but also look into maybe having some sort of back story with another character if they are Good. Maybe they could be your sponsor. (I find that function of the redemption rules nifty and allows for a cool characteristic!)

From those who have read the first adventure (bought it but want to be a player so haven't read it yet), I would like to ask about a character I want to play, specifically ask about when he might have a chance to change. I want to play a neutral (LN) demon-blooded tiefling ex-antipaladin who, sometime between levels 2 and 6, gets to convert to full paladin. His backstory I won't fully bore you with, the gist of it is that he was bred and raised/brainwashed from birth by a demon cult and trained to become an anti-paladin in service to a demon lord. Before he could go too far down that path the entire cult is destroyed by crusaders and he survives, badly wounded, and is taken in by a retired and crippled paladin who sees to his un-brainwashing (not really a word but close enough) and all that.

I'd like to start the game with the character in the midst of a conversion, but still not dedicated to good just yet, and when an appropriate point comes up in the first adventure have him convert and become a paladin. My potential DM likes the concept in general but we're worried about the chance of such a character surviving long in the AP, and worse I'm worried that being a character with no class features for too long will lead to other players suffering.

Without spoilers is there a good, early point where a character can see or experience something (self-sacrifice by an NPC, a good outsider, people being rescued by a paladin, an enormously selfless act, etc) that could be used as the instigation of a full conversion to paladinhood? The jump to mythic would be an obvious one, but I don't want to subject the party to 6 levels without a fully functional character. While having a little less power would be a challenge for me, I won't be playing a solo game and the rest of the party will probably need someone who can pull their full weight as a PC.

You could easily be inspired pretty early and then actually pull of the switch to a full on Paladin around level four.

Thanks, I have the PG and the redemption rules, we probably won't be using that exactly but they're good to have as a base. What I really need to ensure is that there is a place early enough in the adventure for the character to do his converting so I don't saddle the party with an understrength frontline PC for the entire adventure and drag the party down.

I hadn't thought of having a sponsor as a PC, that could be useful certainly even if we don't use the redemption rules as written. I also have heard there are some important/ever present NPCs, maybe one of them would be good as a sponsor too depending on their backstory. The rest of the party hasn't been put together yet, so far I just know of a fairly interested DM and a few people I know who might join a game, but when we are I'll definitely look into that.

Pelloth wrote:

Excellent, thank you. Level four could definitely be doable then, just three levels the party has to put up with a slightly weakened PC. I'll talk with the DM and other players (when they come up) to make sure they don't have a problem with it, if they do I'll work with the backstory or else play a fighter or something instead of an ex-antipaladin and see about using retraining rules to become a full paladin after the LG conversion.

The GM may also have little glimpses of paladin-like abilities appear in times of need should you continue down the path of redemption; at least, it's something I'd be doing in this circumstance as this is definitely a situation where the Good Gods want to help out and are just denied the ability to directly intervene. Letting you know through the occasional Lay on Hands or an unexpected Smite Evil that you're on the right path does sound like something a couple of the divinities may do. ;)

That'd be cool, to make sure I'm not dragging down the party, I'll have to bring that up to my DM before the adventure gets started in earnest.

Okay, so it looks like my players finally nailed down their characters. We have:

Ben Bruck: Lucca, LG female demon-blooded tiefling paladin of Shelyn (Stolen Fury trait)
Jim Groves: Ceonyr Harnaste, LG male half-elf inquisitor of Iomedae (Child of the Crusades trait)
John Spalding: Phidian Taargick, NG male dwarf druid, worships empyreal lords as a pantheon with a focus on Jaidz (Exposed to Awfulness trait)
Karen, Jim's wife: Brieanne, NG cleric of Desna (Touched by Divinity)

All-divine group. I'm SO excited. :D

Also, I know some things, and redemption does come up in-game with a few NPCs. The number you attempt to redeem and the number you successfully redeem will vary by group, I imagine.

Not something I'm planning on - but going through Rite Publishing's Heroes of the Jade Oath, I noticed that the Cavalier Order of the Ancestors could fit well for Sarkorian-descended PCs.

Neutral good middle aged human wizard from Ustalav ,obsessed with clockwork constructs and golems, being in Kenabres for find some financial and political support for his project of create a Gran Mechanized Army as constructs can't be corrupted, don't feel fear, can march continuously and doesn't exhaust the food supplies of a nation.
He used to be a professor of archaeology and history in Lepidstadt university, specialized in the Jitska civilization.

Some ideas I had for other games or have been wanting to do but really couldn't until mythic came out.

A demigod child of one of the good gods. Maybe one of the narrow selection of the neutral gods but probably not. Mechanically would be a planar oracle associated with one of the good planes and of course Hierophant. Divine Source is a must but some other abilities would depend how outsidery the DM would accept my characters at 20th level.

The one taken from another game is a male human Emyrean Knight paladin of Iomadae. A bit a typical. He wears light armor instead the average medium or heavy and unlike every Iomadaen he uses a greatsword. A source of inspiration for him is his mother. While officially dead her old squadmates swear that towards the end of a great battle she joined the Empyrean hosts without actually dying. No body was ever found. His great goal and desire in life is to join the Emyrean Host and fight by his goddess's side. I'm thinking that if asked in game (Probably by an antagonist) about why he fights and does what he does he would respond along the lines "I'm driven. I don't do it out of some sense of nobility or moral superiority. I do this because it is what I am. And I don't need you to understand." I assume this would happen towards the end of a battle and as he says the last part he twists the sword finishing the guy off.

For some added flavor i'm thinking he has a had a few failed relationships. The women leaving him because he as they put it "Had unreasonable expectations." Not that he outwardly said anything like that or was conscious of it. It comes mainly from the fact he views Iomadae as the ideal woman. I'm thinking that at one point he might actually fall in love with Iomadae. Again not consciously aware of the fact and if he ever realized it he would feel ashamed. Then he would chastise and rebuke himself for it and try to act like it wasn't there.

I'm thinking of playing a druid for an upcoming WotR game, but I'm iffy; the games main foe will be demons, and I'm unsure of how effective druids are at killing demons.

I actually thought a hellknight would be pretty cool, unfortunately the requirement to slay a devil in front of another hellknight is pretty annoying

Sadly I do not get to play in this as a player. Instead I get all the NPCs and monsters. As I tell my players I am all the NPCs and monsters. When they call me mean I say I am any alignment I wish whenever I wish. That usually makes them laugh and relax.

Anyways the party is mostly built. Only one is iffy as the player is wavering.

I have:
Treya: Aasimar Paladin (Oath vs Fiends)
Dorje: Samsaran Druid (Reincarnated)
Darvon: Half-Orc Inquisitor
Aurix Kepesk: Kobold Druid Storm
Half-Orc Magus (might focus on the whip)

The paladin may be dropping though. She has a tentative job offer pending and that is far more important. The magus I am waiting for friday for confirmation

Liberty's Edge

I want to play a LG paladin of Sarenrae. He would cleanse the evil from people he thought evil by burning them alive. If they survived they were cleansed and redeemed. If they died they were evil. Since he would be burning people alive in the name of his god, it would not be an evil act. ;)

If this thread is open to "dream teams", taking a cue from Dragonchess PLayer:

Liath and Naella Samathran (LG demonspawn tieflings, male paladin(redeemer) and female cleric of Iomedae) - These twins have some bad family history tied with the Worldwound and the Mendevian Crusades and the shared traumatic childhood to show for it. While Naella has come to terms with her own heritage in her own way, her brother Liath has yet to fully overcome his guilt complex over his nature and shattered familial links. Both felt drawn to Mendev from their work elsewhere in order to finally find closure. words words words version

Cheiled Anann (CN->G male Kellid human summoner(celestial eidolon)) - A wreck of a man, this descendant of the displaced Sarkori comes from a long line of God-Callers, much to his chagrin. He has been ridden his entire life by the shattered spirit of his family's patron spirit, the lillend Sarakasna, her whispers constantly urging him to take up the cause of his ancestors, to reconstitute her and join the fight to take back their homeland. But natural fear and bitterness born of hardship have left him avoiding this calling for most of his life. Finding escape in whatever drink and drug he could acquire, Cheiled dulled Sarakasna's screams as he rotted in the gutters of Kenabres. He was prepared to simply die in the streets until he finally saw an atrocity he could not ignore. Unable to fight off two witch-burning fanatics by himself, pesh-ravaaged as he was, he called on his ancestral spirit. She was greatly diminished, a pale shadow of her former self, but she still quick work of her prey. Being moved to action has given his heart one possible last jump start to actually live his life rather than wait it out, and the need to move away from the killing of two Burners has only quickened his pace. On frail legs he stumbles toward the crusade.

Shakask (CG female orc barbarian(celestial totems) of Sarenrae) - Born on the battlefields of Belkzen to a Gorumite tribe, Shakask was raised in an environment brutal even by orcish standards near the edge of the Worldwound. Possessed of a remarkable well of empathy in spite of, or in response to, her environment, Shakask had to grow up tough to defend hers and herself, especially given that the enemies of her tribe were exclusively other orcs and demons from the Worldwound. She fared relatively well until her hunting party was ambushed by a rival demon-revering tribe. While her kin were slaughtered and eaten, she was to be sacrificed to her captor's demonic patron; her small fame in the eyes of her tribe's enemies had marked her as a valuable target. Things did not go as anyone expected. The sacrificial ritual was interrupted as Shakask was overwhelmed by a vision of a burning angel commanding her to survive the night. Driven into a berserk fury, Shakask torn through her captors to freedom. She found no refuge back in her tribe though; the visions continued, the burning angel commanding her repeatedly to travel east along the edge of the demonlands, to join another tribe for a coming war. Now branded a pariah amongst her people for her seeming madness, she travels(and fights her way) along the edge of the Worldwound towards Mendev, following the command of her newfound "totem".

Maeve Forsythe (NG witch(Riftwarden) of the Black Butterfly) - Raised in a mixed Sarkori/Chelish family, Maeve was a child of the changed landscape of Mendev. After losing her parents at an early age after they went missing in the Fourth Crusade, she sought to follow in their footsteps as arcanists of the crusade. Unfortunately, while she was seemingly gifted with a knack for magic, she had difficulty with the mainstream learned disciplines of her parents. Her frustration only grew until her aunt took her aside and away from the city to introduce her to an older tradition, one with roots in the land itself. Maeve entered into witchcraft with a mixture of excitement and fear. She knew all too well the stigma against witches in Mendev, and she herself bore some prejudices against it. But it came to her naturally. She had her means to follow the path she intended to follow. Today, she aids the crusade from the sidelines through subtle means. She wishes to take a more direct role, but she also knows the danger of revealing the nature of her magic so long as the witch hunts continue. And even know she doubts herself and her magic at times, fearing deep down that she may be walking a darker path than she would like.

Crasaendil (NG elf ranger (Green Faith)) - Much like his adopted homeland, Crasaendil has been ravaged by the past century. He saw his family and home torn asunder by the first days of the Worldwound. He has taken part in four failed crusades and has lost a part of himself each time. Today this horrifically scarred, one-eyed elf feels he is on his last legs, but still he fights; half out of genuine hope of reclaiming something of all he has lost, half out of a need for vengeance. A veteran of each crusade, he has lost so many friends and allies that he has difficulty forming bonds with anyone outside a detatched professionalism. He has also been burdened with a grim reputation as a jinx; after all, every major battle he has participated in has been lost, with him surviving to carry his seeming bad luck along with him. He has become an old soldier no one is eager to claim, even before the middle of his life. And still he enlists, almost mechanically returning back to the fight. Because he knows that if ever he gave up, even for a moment, the weight of all he has lost would surely destroy him.

Is it bad that I have like an ever growing list of characters I'm creating, not because I can't choose which one to play, but because I fully expect them all to wind up dead?

Reminds me of the time my 3rd level Paladin (which was a fairly new character) died after the GM hit him with 30 arrows for an ambush (the GM was a dick). The lowest level for the rest of the group was 8th, with a number of 12+ levels. The general rule was half XPs for the next character (and no Raise Dead).

I asked to confirm, he said "no. First level."

I should have told him "[censored] you, [censored] your game, and [censored] all this. Goodbye." If I wasn't dependent on other people for a ride home and in the pre-cell phone era (they existed, but were really expensive) I would have.

Instead I rolled up a dozen characters. I went through seven. One was killed when I voiced skepticism toward the talking holy sword, who ordered his wielder to smite me. -10 HPs right off. I was even more upset when the sword didn't go flying off into the distance because a sin (murder) had been committed even though it'd done that for the sin of "fornication" in the past. (As I said, dick GM. He's why I've only ever GMed since.)

Ironically, the character who did survive reached level 7 after all was said and done. The GM drowned him while having a dolphin do some rather disturbing things to him. Come to think of it, that was the very last game of that campaign. Go figure.

Sweet merciful christ, why do people do these things

Man. I wish I could play this. I've had the opportunity to play PnP games, uhh, two or three times in the last two or three years? I've got bone deep GM's fatigue. Still! I'll update this with my player's characters as soon as they actually have... characters, not just classes.

Edmund Caldaren (Human Paladin of Iomadae, Marshal Path): Hailing from a small town in Northern Mendev, Edmund's family has long been respected amongst the Crusading Orders for the length of their service. However, during some of the Fourth Crusade's harshest fighting, Edmund's father lost his arm and the use of his eyes - the community's respect quickly turned to pity, and murmurs of "What use is he now?" Edmund, despairing over his father and outraged at what he perceived to be a betrayal by the community, fell into a deep funk. One evening, a sword burned itself brightly into his dreams, calling him to take up arms and train - he promptly rushed to the local church of Iomadae, who took him on as a squire when he explained to them his dream. Freshly released from his squirehood, and armed with his father's sword and shield, he makes his way south to Kenabres as the first stop on a long tour of Mendev while he awaits the call of his generation's Crusade.

I'm most likely going to be playing a Paladin unless no one in the group wants to play a Cleric and then I'll be playing a crusading Cleric. I'm a fan of both classes though, so I'm good either way.

I had two thoughts in regards to what route to take with the godchild idea for a character.

One is a upbeat, open, but slight neurotic child of Pharasma. He disagrees with his mother on her close lippedness closed door policy. Other than that he serves well and faithfully.

The other one was a child of Irori who inherited Irori's rage and inner strife. Following a similar parallel to Ragathiel and Dispater.

A joke idea was a Captain Hammer son of Torag.

I'm making a needlessly MAD Aasimar paladin(gonna go guardian/champion dual path I think, with the guardian's campaign trait) of Serenrae, who trained with a my Half-Orc Inquisitor from our CoT campaign. She's kinda jealous of the fame the Half-Orc got once that campaigned finished, so decided to one up her... turns out she picked the right time and place to do just that.

Right now shes kinda unusual for a paladin, instead of just rocking loads of str and heavy armor, I'm going light armor with some decent str and dex(I'm very tempted to go all dex, but that's what I did with the Inquisitor, wanna change things up a bit). Also, not going oath bound like 90% of the paladins seem to be(vengeance seems like a horrible idea if I want to try to redeem my enemies, same thing with fiends, though otherwise it'd probably be fine given my chosen goddess)...

Anyways, she going to have quite the ego, even going so far as hiring a bard(played by one of the other players... assuming he doesn't change his mind again) so people will be able to hear her amazing story about single-handedly closing the worldwound with her awesome angel powers. Of course, what she doesn't realize yet is, she isn't exactly the aasimar she thinks she is... The local half-angel suddenly growing bat like wings(agathion bloodline+aasimar wing feats) while battling demons is probably gonna be a bit suspicious to the rest of the party, but will totally f%$# with the aasmiar who had very different exceptions from herself.

You've read Wayfinder #9? :)

Actually, no, though I may now...

EDIT: Just checked it out... interesting, could work. I was originally just gonna go with draconal, but an actually bat could work. Though given my lack of imagination, the character was literally gonna look almost exactly like Elisa from Gargoyles(as a human, and then Elisa transformed into a gargoyle once she goes full Aasimar) that may not work quite how I want... but bat wings are a bit different from dragon wings I guess. Well I got plenty of time to think it over though, need to finish my kingmaker campaign first and at our pace that won't be for a while now.

So far what I've got is:

-Riqueza Paz, CN Ratfolk Gulch Gunner. More or less her parents were super eccentric and trained her and her timid younger sister in the art of gunslinging, but one day the warren flooded, separating her from her family and leaving her alone in the world and severely aquaphobic. Works as a bounty hunter and lives a hedonistic lifestyle, as she thinks life is too short and fleeting to try to live frugal and whatnot. Very crass, joining the Crusade because she thinks she can find money in it.

-Fortuna Paz, NG Ratfolk Gulch gunner for when the first one inevitably dies. The younger sister who is far more timid than her headstrong elder sister, got separated from her when the warren flooded, and eventually joined a monastery. Joined the Crusade because she thought it was the right thing to do and possibly to try to find out anything about her family.

-A sword and board paladin who I haven't named yet, LG. Originally from Absalom but became a paladin after getting fed up with his family's criminal and dishonorable history. Actually is fairly laid back and doesn't actively advertise he's a paladin to everyone, figuring the best way to do good is to be humble and just lead by example instead of being overzealous and dogmatic (if paladins can even get away with being like that, but my GM said it was cool so whatever). Joined the Crusades to protect the good, as he finds it his duty to protect the future so people could decide the future for themselves. Also really hates puzzles, and keeps a pet raven he may or may not have named after his ex-boyfriend.

-And some kobold paladin, a follower of Apsu. Was more or less a failure of a kobold before the rest of the kobolds left him for dead to a band of adventurers, but to his surprise they actually didn't kill him, and actually finding people nice to him for once he decided to take up their ways. Is an avid follower of Apsu, and will often go on ad nauseum about how great dragons are whenever he gets the chance. Also has a pretty big inferiority complex. I figured if I got this far down the line in characters, I should just give up trying to make one that I think will survive long and just go for whatever kooky idea I feel like.

I've created a hobgoblin cavalier who was sent to the worldwound by his superiors in Molthune due to excessive violence on the battlefield.

Naturally he was a remnant of Goblinblood wars, then abducted by demonic cultists, leading into the campaign trait for that.

From there he was made a slave of Molthune.

I feel like using extreme intimidation tactics against demons all across the worldwound is just delicious justice.

Two-Weapon Warrior fighter who is bit short-tempered when it comes to facing demons. Young man who lost his family to demons and is now really tired of living in fear of demons. It is time to rise and oppose those monsters! Now is his chance to get revenge and to slay all demons that come to his way.

Character is inspired by Eren Jaeger and captain Levi from manga/anime Attack on Titan. I don't like two-weapon fighting that much but in mythic adventure it might be fun. Not using weapon finesse but otherwise being fast and agile combatant is also fun.

This one probably gets used a LOT, but I wanted to try a LG Tiefling Witch, who is a firm believer in the cause of the crusade, and lashes out at demons in a sort of twisted self-loathing dressed up in the words of honour. So, he's actually almost a low templar in his conviction. He kills demons more because he hates them, and less because it's the right or good thing to do. I'm thinking maybe he'll change. Maybe not? Meh, whatever.

Dark Archive

I plan on playing a half-elven inquisitor. I'm unsure of which deity yet, but I know I want to be melee based as our "tank" is a gun tank and we have no other melee focused characters in the party.

Cavalier of the Order of the Star, without the overt divine backing of a paladin or cleric, but devout nonetheless.

Or got Low Templar by way of a half-orc knife fighting rogue.

Planning a paladin of Iomedae/ silver draconic sorcerer/dragon disciple. More of a melee build than a caster, but enough to get access to some nifty spells as well.

Liberty's Edge

Slight adjustment to the party running through this. I am about to have them leave the underground. A couple of my players realized they did not want to play their first choices. Since I prefer my players to have lots of fun I have a standing house rule about allowing character switches. I simply don't allow it after level 5 unless the use Ultimate Campaign.

So current party is now:

Aasimar Paladin (Same one as before)

Meldiea: Demon-Spawn Tiefling Sorcerer (Abyssal Bloodline, Tattooed)
Govad: Aasimar Oracle (Battle Myster)
Raphael Wyvernsbane: Dhmapir Magus
Davor: Half-Orc Inquisitor of Torag

There is talk of a player running this later the down the line. So I am plotting what I am going to run. There are so may open possibilities I can't wait to tray so many of the available options.

I'm not sure on race, but I have several classes chosen to narrow down through.I might do a paladin as I have never played one. I also have Magus, Druid, Ranger, and Sorcerer lined up as choices. I have to think as I do like to play against what people expect though it does seem to amuse the rest of hte table with what comes up.

Well. I said I'd post more details on the rest of the party I've got for this, but I can sum them up in a single word: Batman.

Yep. A party of Batmen. Their parents are all dead (except for the aforementioned Paladin) and they are all the night. Ah, well. It's a phase most people go through. I'm just happy they ARE writing back stories now.

First time one of them tries to grapple a demon screaming "WHERE'S THE OTHER CRYSTAL" though, I'm probably going to have to take a fiver.

I have one player who in the RoW campaign is running a female Gambit (with the rogue class - might count as irony, I'm not sure) and in the Runelords game is playing a half-orc Barbarian version of Beast (scholar, polite and well-spoken, gets stronger when fighting).

So I've been looking through Mythic Adventures...
I now have this great mental image of the hobgoblin cavalier entering the abyss and making everything flee in terror.

:)

Especially after seeing Display of Charisma just now.

I'm going to start running this next Monday the 9th and this is pretty close to the final lineup of characters:

- Aasimar Monk (Flowing Monk)
- Aasimar Oracle (Purifier)
- Human Paladin of Iomedae
- Halfling Rogue
- Tiefling Cleric/Wizard (eventually Mystic Theurge)

I think its a neat group of characters.

I'd play a Elven Kensai Magus as the Mythic rules give you +2 to stats every other tier to help with MAD of that class. you can focus on Dexterity with Weapon Finesse and Mythic weapon finesse dex to hit and damage. You can take Armor Master path ability from the Champion path to cast in light armor. Grab the trait Armor Expert for -1 ACP or just spend a feat on light armor proficiency. Then you can get Mitheral Breast Plate with no dex limit.

Party lineup so far:
Human Monk (Master of Many Forms)
Tiefling Paladin (Empyreal Knight)
Human Barbarian (Mad Dog)
Human Cleric (Merciful Healer)

We've still got one person who hasn't made a character yet, but seems to be a pretty solid party so far.

The remnants of the Third Crusade linger on. Branded as a witch, and burned within our home, my mother died at the hands of the zealous mob. Even these fervent followers of Iomedae, seeking only to do good, were led astray by the chaotic taint of the worldwound that presses down upon us all. The good in their hearts, so easily twisted to do evil.

It is only through the Law that we will control the chaos. Only Law that provides the straight and true course for humanity to find its way. Only the Law shall prevail.

LN Human Inquisitor (cold iron warden) of Abadar.

Well since one of my players decided to revive an old character of his that died early on I guess I get to play the cohort. He decied to take leadership and have the cohort be his character's wife. She was my character.

So I am playing a long-suffering Kitsune Druid who reincarnates when she dies. She is long suffering because she frequently has to reign in her husband. If they are not his wife or children he has no patience and so she frequently has to keep his temper in check. This should be a great deal of fun as I will only be doing the RP not tactics or any other rolls. It will make things interesting to say the least

I got the campaign going today and this turned out to be the line-up:

Dasseem Ulthor, Human Paladin of Iomedae
Panik Ulthor, Human Wizard
Tavarian Nelson, Aasimar Sorcerer (Crossblooded Wildblooded Pit-Touched Empyrial numbercrunch >.< )
Mirei, Aasimar (Plumekith) Ranger
Brother Asmodei, Aasimar (Lawbringer) Cleric of Asmodeus
Thorund Vilgurson, Human Barbarian

At least there are some good inter-party RP conflicts coming up, the group is doing fine so war. The Paladin and Sorcerer are now both infected with filth fever, though. I guess the Paladin may skate on it, though, due to possibly leveling into immunity.

For anyone who's interested, I put together a product for Legendary Games called Righteous Heroes which lays out eight potential pregen PCs that gaming groups might find useful for this adventure path. They can serve as PCs or NPCs, or even just inspiration for more ideas on what kinds of characters might be a good fit for the campaign. They include:

Spoiler:

  • Briathos Tassiel - Aasimar Oracle (purifier)
  • Caric Solnebren - Human Paladin (oathbound)
  • Emerina Vestelle - Tiefling Inquisitor (infiltrator)
  • Illemandir Ziruul - Half-Elf Druid (menhir savant)
  • Jilani Safiro - Human Sorcerer (wildblooded, empyreal)

Dark Archive Vendor - Fantasiapelit Tampere

Minor varisian noble from beautiful city of Karcau, with too many ties to the cults of Socothbenoth and Sifkesh. Discovers that she has sorcererss skills granted by his silver dragon forefather. Runs away in shame after his family perverts the faith of Pharasma (thanks Sifkesh) and tries to atone for his family by joining the crusade.

I'm aiming for the Dragon Disciple prestige class, and see how well it plays with Mystic improvements :D

I'm playing an CG assimar synthesist summoner, with the Celestial Appearance evolution, at level 2 now. The idea is that, through eidolon evolutions, she'll eventually become a full-on celestial. I took a level dip in fighter to grab Martial Weapon Proficiency (and a feat), so she can wield a greatsword like a Ghaele.

The Exchange

Caranthir Orodher, elven fighter (archer), last of the volunteer company from Kyonin to be still alive. Gonna go with Fighter, 'cos his still relatively young elf, and is not adapted to the habits of his woodland parents and is more fighter than ranger now. I like Archer archtype so much that this should be fun character to play as well. Our GM said that he will run this AP in groups of three, so I gotta have different characters ready.

My group just finished book 1. Here is our line up:

Melisan, CG Female Demon Blooded Tiefling Slayer with the stolen fury background trait. She is the granddaughter of a succubus (the GM hinted she might run into her later in the AP). She was rescued and adopted by a Priestess of Milani when she was younger. (My character)

Graak, LN Male Orc Fighter. He has the established nobility (Marshal) background trait. His family came to Mendev few generations back and have become somewhat civilized since then.

Jocelyn LG Female Human Cleric/Paladin of Iomedae. Recent traveler and volunteer to Kanabras. Hierophant Background Trait

Ryla CG Female Halfling Arcanist. She was an aspiring rift warden and also helped in the local orphanage prior to the fall of Kanabras Archmage Background Trait.

I have made and can't wait for my Aasimar(Scion of Humanity) Cleric(Crusader) of Gorum.

Playing Chaotic Neutral w/ Negative Energy primary & Positive energy w/ Versatile Channler

Cranking Wisdom w/ "Guided Hand" using a GreatSword and going the Vital Strike route.
