Some house rules can be found here Link
Notes:

Here is some information:
There are very few places someone can buy magic items.
Undead are very rare in my home brew and even than most undead seen are intelligent undead.
The game will use fame/infamy to effect outcomes. All characters start out at one fame/infamy. There will be two types of fame/infamy, one that is active and passive. Active fame/infamy will be known to players and can be used up to gain bonuses to rolls. Passive fame/infamy will not be known to the players and will effect how npcs interact with characters.
Good characters always gain fame, while evil characters always gain infamy. Neutral characters chose at the start of the game if they wish to gain fame or infamy.
Some spells are very hard to come by or do not exist at all.
When putting forth a character please do not make an alias of that character. In the post you make to show your character please put a rough outline of a character with stats and feats and a background of the your character. Do not buy any equipment yet, that will be discussed. After rough outline please put your plans on how you want to see your character grow and what you would like to see out of the game. I would also like a bit about how you see your character played out personality wise and how the character would interact with others.

Most of the information for the world can be found here, Link

Looking intresting here. Not sure about the Gestalt guidelines but I will look them up and get back to you.

edit - So looking at the rules I'm thinking Cleric/Sorcerer or Cleric/Ranger. Leaning toward ranger for the boost in combat abilities.

Would probably need some aid is compiling my sheet if I am selected.

Cleric/Wizard, back to basics. Healing, buffs all that good stuff.

Cleric/Summoner, too.

I just need the basics for character mechanics, stats, class and race. I am more looking for a back story.

Feel free to ask questions though.

Dark Archive

Dotted!

Ferrin seem interesting.

Hey, got another opening?

As I said in first post trying to find one or two replacements for my game. So far have people show interest no characters posted yet.

I've never played a gestalt character, so I'm going to need a little help. I'd like to play a Half-orc cleric/sorceror.

Gestalt are the rules for gestalt. There are no half-orcs in my game the races I have are in a link in the first post. As for help just ask and will help with what I can.

Just bumping the thread.

DM, this is an alias I played in a now-defunct Red Hand of Doom adventure that I loved. I would be happy to restat him and strip him down to 4th level, if you'd be interested in him. Also, I'd turn him from half Orc to another race, probably Eruss. That would play well with his fire affinity. His background is the important part of him right now.

He would definitely be the party conscience. if the Dawnflower doesn't exist in our world, it'd be very simple to pick another good God for him to follow. He is lawful good to the hilt. And I would end up taking him much in the direction he is now. More of a caster, and secondary melee guy. Let me know if you are interested.

Alcina

Sirona

Might be gods you would want to look at.

Sirona would definitely be my diety. I'd take healing, good or travel as domains. He'd still tend to fire magic, but from selected spells, not domain spells.

Other than being a primary healer, I would also do most of the buffing duties, like Magic Weapon, and any of the second level buffs, like Bear's Endurance the party might need.

Liberty's Edge

Alright, saw this thread a few days ago, was hesitant, but I'm going to go ahead and give it a shot.

I'll be submitting an Avari Cross-Blooded (Air Elemental/Stormborn) Sorcerer/Evoker Wizard. Backstory to be written after I read more about the world.

Liberty's Edge

Backstory:

Spoiler:

Hamon is an Avari mage. This has always troubled him, for many reasons.

Hamon was born sickly. He was nowhere near as strong as his kin, and was often harshly bullied as a child. Though Hamon was naturally intelligent, and actually quite attractive and pleasant for an Avari, his skill in physical combat was non-existent. Hamon did his best to learn what his father taught him. He trained with greatswords and mauls, though it still took him several swings to even smash through a training dummy.

Finally, around age 45, Hamon gave up. He would never be the warrior his parents wanted. So Hamon decided to search for what he wanted. Hamon traveled on his own, studying in libraries, and learned of a mystical link in his family, one that could be traced back generations. His family was especially close to the Air Elementals, and as Hamon read more and more, he could feel his excitement start to crackle through him, like a jolt of electricity.

Hamon had a new goal now. He wanted to change the world, forever. Hamon wanted to start a storm that would last for eternity. A storm that would rule over the world, and subject all to its mighty force. He wanted winds blowing constantly, and lightning striking every which way, while animals and humanoids would go deaf from thunder. Hamon wanted to shape the world so that the storm would engulf it, and thus, finally bring all of the people of the world together, in order to try and stop it. And once they were united, Hamon would indeed stop it, though he would still empower the weather so that whenever it rained or stormed, it would be magical and frightening.

This was Hamon's goal, and it turned out to be an extremely difficult one. Even after 123 years of study, Hamon had not even come close to mastering the power of lightning magic. But his dreams were still at hand. Hamon would use his own power to force the world to unite, and once they all realized they weren't so different, once they realized they all shared the same fear, the same drive to stay alive, the same passion for defending their families and friends, then war would cease to exist. Of this, Hamon was sure.

Personality:

Spoiler:

Hamon is both charismatic and intellectual, but he is physically frail, and his age has started to wear on his reflexes and stamina. Hamon enjoys a good joke, and will often laugh at anything he considers to be close to a joke, even if it's one so terrible that no one else would find it funny. Hamon prefers to smile, and looks for reasons to smile every day.

Hamon, not surprisingly, feels incredibly at home in the sky. He wants to fly for hours and hours. Hamon also loves a good storm, and will always go outside when it rains. He closes his eyes and feels the rain pouring down on him.

Hamon dislikes dry places or anywhere that is hot but not humid. He also tends to be a bit egotistical when it comes to his arcane power.

I saw this on the ticker at the side, and I clicked on it, thinking I would apply. Turns out, I already have.

Yes, yes you did.

How old is Hamon?

Hamon is 147 years old. (Middle Age)

Ouch, so the Cross-Blooded Sorcerer actually delays casting another level, so I won't even get 2nd level sorcerer spells until 5th level (2 whole levels after the wizard, and same for all my other sorcerer casting. So harsh!)

Anyway, I have all of Hamon's crunch done here. I will update his alias so the info is there, but I figured I'd let you get a chance to look it over.

Edit: Okay, everything is up in the alias. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hamon if you are still interested please post in the discussion thread.

Hello, this is Zed. I ended up getting to it a little quicker than I thought. Love to hear feedback!

Updated for a few of the homebrew rules (completely missed the custom races lol). Liganin now, worked out really well for the background. Tell me your thoughts!
