Muls are born from the odd coupling of humans and dwarves. They are a unique people that are different from either of their parents. One of these unique qualities is how protective Muls are for those they care about, making sure they stay safe. This drive makes Muls tough opponents if attacking someone they care for.
Stats: +2 str, +2 wis, -2 cha
Medium: Muls are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Mules have a base speed of 30 ft
Darkvision: Muls can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
Dwarf Blood: Muls count as both dwarves and humans for any effect related to race.
Resistant: Muls gain a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against mind-affecting effects and poison.
Self-sufficient: Muls receive a +2 racial bonus on Survival skill checks.
Protector: Members of this race add +1 to the caster level of any abjuration spells they cast. Members of this race also gain the following spell-like abilities: constant—nondetection; 1/day— Alarm, Endure Elements, Sanctuary. The caster level for these effects is equal to the user’s character level.
Tireless: Muls receive a +4 racial bonus on Constitution checks and Fortitude saves to avoid fatigue and exhaustion, as well as any other ill effects from running, forced marches, starvation, thirst, and hot or cold environments.
Languages: Muls begin play speaking Common and Dwarven. Muls with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Elven, Giant, Goblin, Orc and Sylvan.
