Serpent's Skull- S'sS
Skull & Shackles - S&SShattered Star - SS
This one will be a headache ;)

That's my guess anyway ;-)
I really hope they update it to pathfinder rules, it's not even that hard considering there are already conversions all over the internet, so the majority of the work is already done, they only thing they had to do is proof read it and make any changes they want or have to do.
And i am sure there a lot of poeple who would want such a book (including myself).I cannot wait for this... you know- to mash up with things I like from this with my Kingmaker and Rise of the Runelords mashup already!
Me too, it's bad that is going to be 1 year since shatterd star will be out.

Olondir |

I know! 1-year. Since my game is a play-by-post at least I suspect my players will be getting to the points of this campaign just in time. :)
I wonder if paizo will ever release a DMs guide to an AP. Perhaps with help for bigger sized parties, supplementing good modules or other APs into an AP, additional background fluff, and simply good things that were cut for space. Basically the "Extras/Deleted Scenes" of an AP saga if you will.

The news about Shattered Star makes me a sad gamer. I had really hoped that the next one would a Mendev/Worldwound adventure path. Oh well.
Excellent news about Rise of the Runelords!
Glad to hear about more Varisian goodness.
Worldwound didnt really inspire me much except as a backdrop.

Will be the next AP after Skull and Shackle!
This will be an artifact hunting AP set in Magnimar. PCs will be searching for the original Sihedron of Emperor Zin as anti-runelord mojo. Just announced at Gencon!
Also Rise of the Runelords is due to be re-released in hardbound!
I wonder if the Sihedron pieces are anything like the Maure castle keys or if they were inspired by them a bit?

Well I'm screwed. There's no way I'm running this AP without taping over the name and coming up with something else. Our group has a certain comedic association with the name Shatterstar. This is close enough that they'll be on it like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat; the runelords will suddenly become angsty teenagers wearing tight leather pants and living in Miami. Don't ask, I've been trying to suppress that memory for years. It taught me a lesson about grabbing a random character sheet out of my folder of characters friends had made back in high school. Actually it taught me to burn anything that could incriminate me about my teenage years.
Hey! I got one to add to the list:
Silver Skies - With airships!

KaeYoss |

Don't forget Secret Sheik - the AP where you help an underground rebellion against the Kelish overlords.
And Servant Souls - Where a TPK is part of the first adventure, as ghostly PCs in thrall to Geb himself are the focus of the AP.
Not to mention Soaring Society - That's right, someone found out how the Shory got those floating cities and copied it! Not very big - just enough to build a Pathfinder Lodge onto it, but now everyone wants that secret to do it in big scale, something that could change the face of Golarion forever. Not to mention that the PCs uncover that all is not well with these new flying cities, and might need to convince everyone that this is a bad idea before everything is too late.
Anyway, did they say anything else about the hardcover? Will it be part of any subscription? Will the AP be revisited (beyond being updated to PFRPG)?

Additional information:
1) AP will start in Magnimar, and Magnimar will be getting its own Guidebook like Korvosa got.
2) AP will travel all over Varisia.
3) Some dungeon-crawling, some political intrigue, some overland, promises to be a nice mixed bag of Varisian goodness.
4) Initial plans are to have this the first "very sequalish" AP- likely to include links to the first 3 APs in varying degree.
5) Will also be tied in with Pathfinder Society, and Pathfinder Society Organized Play Adventures will feature more Varisia next year as well.

I take it you're not reading X-factor now? He's out of the tight leather pants, but a long WW II style army air corps coat would fit right in. :-)

I'm pretty sure that updating the AP to Pathfinder RPG rules is a given - in fact I think I read that this has been officially confirmed in the announcement.

Of course Schutzstaffel. Why do you think Gorbacz is pissed? He knows I'll just use all those APs to drive over his front lawn and garden with. :D

X who? (Braces for the backlash)
Bah, my father's army air corps' jacket was short. Of course it was also British. He was constantly getting stopped by officers that couldn't believe that American patches on a British jacket over American pants (two olive drabs that clashed enough that even the fashion blind guys went "ewww") was a legitimate uniform. :)

This makes me immensely happy. I've been wanting more Magnimar since the Skinsaw Murders.

Maybe the Dark Elves by trying to bring down another rock from space have some how awoken another Runelord from its 10,ooo or so year slumber, OR has already been awake and just waiting until he or she was stronger? I guess will learn more about this as we get closer to the release date?

Have to admit when i saw the title and put it with the Distant planets book due next year I thought we were going to get our 'Pathjamming' AP at last.
Looks like you will, just not (yet) from Paizo.

Damnit, While i like the idea of another AP set in Varisia, that finishes off most of the plot threads there and explores more territory, my players are going to cry "Why no Numeria AP?? I want to laser guns, and get addicted to Alien Juice! ALIEN JUICE!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Sigh.
No lie. Somehow my players manage to bring up "laser scorpions of death" every game session, regardless of topic.

The real pity is that the title (The Shattered Star) would have worked great for a Numeria centered AP. :(

I talked to JJ about it and they are very wary of doing a Numeria AP yet. Think of Dungeons of Golarion, and then Distant Worlds next year as them feeling out their consumers to see how we are going to react to it(my interpretation, not his words). I the reaction to the snippets of superscience stuff they do is mostly positive then I think you will see that Numeria AP.

i am not a fan of robots and aliens in my fantasy.
i didn't buy dungeons of golarion because of the robots, and find the alien technology in "wake of the watcher" barely tolerable (curse you greg a. vaughn for being such a great adventure writer!(not really:). i prefer numeria and alkenstar as vague as possible.

Jebus, another Varisian AP? Is there no other region of the Inner Sea area worthy of an AP? Is there no good idea for a Taldan AP? An Andoren AP? A Five Kings Mountain AP? A...well, you get the picture. Yeah, yeah, I get that there are still interesting stories to tell in Varisia and writing those doesn't mean they won't do other APs elsewhere at a later time, but by God I'm sick to my guts of Varisia. How about giving it a permanent rest after the latest "SS" AP, huh?

I like Varisia and we haven't had an AP set there since 3.5. Every AP might be someone's first and Varisia really is THE iconic location of the Pathfinder Campaign Setting.
While it might be a good idea to keep away from Varisia for a couple of years after Shattered Star coming back to it for newer players is a good thing. A rest I can agree with. But a permanent rest? When we still don't have a Kaer Maga megadungeon AP? I don't think so. :-D
