About Digitalelf
I started playing D&D somewhere back in 1981/1982...
I started with the old, old, old original blue box set (what has now become known as the "Holmes Basic Set")...
Very soon after that (around 1983), I started playing AD&D. This was also the point at which I became the defacto DM for all my friends...
And my life would never be the same...
Now, while I owned the original "World of Greyhawk" folio, we never used the setting itself (that came much later). The maps were just locations that the adventures were set in...
Jumping ahead a few years...
In 1987, I made a purchase that changed the way I gamed, and the way I looked at gaming, forever...
I bought the Forgotten Realms boxed set...
The rest is, as they say, history...
Oh yeah, and after 30 years, I'm still the DM...
I have played a myriad of other RPG's and Tactical Miniatures Games (War-Gaming) as well, but I think I have bored you enough with just my D&D experience alone...
