I had a friend who loved to work on his motorcycles. Only he wasn't very good at it.
He got very good at being subjected to finger reattachment surgery.
Amazingly, after three such surgeries, only a couple of his fingers are obviously "wrong", and he still likes to work on his motorcycles.
You'd think he'd have learned...

Too hot up here.
Still glad it's summer though, but it's a bit hard to sleep in a pool of your own sweat.
As the flames rose to his Roman nose and his hearing aid started to melt?
Wait. That's not right.
In other news, Dungeons and Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God was memorably kakky. Best 34 pence I've ever spent.

Haiku aside, there was a lot to read after a week.
In no particular order:
Superman 1&2
Batman ('89; there were actually several clever moments in 'Forever, but not enough)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Spider-man 1&2
Amazing Spider-man (I've not seen 2)
Iron Man 1 (2&3 have an awesome place, but doesn't make a "favorites" list)
- - NOTE: 3 is actually a favorite of my wife, though! And Hail the Ming is awesome, but I'm not counting shorts or we'd be here forever - -
Captain America 1&2 (I've not yet seen Civil War)
Avengers 1&2 (seriously, though; why does 2 receive such a public outcry, and inexplicably directed at Whedon; FH's hatred of his films on principle aside, this was actually a great film)
Guardians of the Galaxy
Ant Man
X-Men First Class, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse
Big Hero 6
The Incredibles
Honorable Mentions:
Superman Returns
Man of Steel
The entire X-Men franchise prior to First Class (though X-Men 1 and The Wolverine may go up above; have not seen Wolverine Origins)
Batman Forever (mind, it's a weak entry)
Captain America (the old one; not Reb Brown's series)
Incredible Hulk
Blade
That's mostly off the top of my head.

Whilst Thegreenbriargamer has been adding organic cage free stars to his hippie credentials, I think I need to turn one of mine in. For you see, it's been so hot and sticky out I've been averaging at least two showers a day, at least, and that doesn't factor in if the General wants to conduct "war games"
In fact I should probably turn in another for that last statement. :-D

Hmm, good question!
Iron Gods, resistance is futile. And the technology guide is easy to use, and has a fun story that any kid that's seen any sci-fi movie can appreciate.
Otherwise...
Mummy's Mask, and Shattered Star are my first reaction, Mummy's Mask can be difficult in book two, trying to keep track of the night of the living dead, and it has a bit of sameness to the end. Shattered Star has more variety and is overall better but the beginning investigation can vex New GMs.
Reign of Winter lets him lead them by the nose...

Mostly for Captain Yesterday, but everyone else feel free to chime in (I'm looking at you, TL!):
Impus Minor wants to start running an AP. He ran We Be Goblins quite competently, so I think he could do an "easy" one with minimal help.
So... which AP is the "easiest" to run as a GM?
Tomb of Horrors (1st Edition). Oh. You said AP, not death trap module.

Personally, I find Curse of the Crimson Throne to be a really solid and simple AP to run, though the fact that it's 3.5 does complicate things somewhat. Sadly, I don't have as much experience as I'd like with other AP's, and the ones I do know (Kingmaker and Carrion Crown) aren't quite as new-GM friendly.
