Very good, little marble. And now the rest have learnt immunity to anti-magic, and will redouble, and multiply, and come at you again.
Apparently you've fallen behind on your reading since you left the servants of the boards.
I am a lord of dreams. However, I'm nothing if not pragmatic, and if you make me an offer tempting enough I might fall in with you.
You're a blackguard these days, I gather, my lady is a blackguard. Sure we could fight, or we could negotiate towards our common interest.

E7 lands and advances towards IB, his eyes glowing white against his flowing green manform. He wields a sword of fire and another of white light. Undead find themselves unable to approach.

Animals of every shape and size rally around him, engaging in single or mass attacks on the Army of the Damned.

Kobold Cleaver sighs.

"I needed to see how vulnerable they were to anti-magic. It was a gamble I lost.
"Now, what's this deal? I am willing to bargain."

Three of the starhawks go down from the dracolich's attack. Another three fly in to take their place. They attempt to infect the dracoliches with a spark of life using reality revision.

With the threat diminished and reinforcements cut off for the moment JH turns his attention to the small kobold revealed in the center of the circle. He approaches cautiously, as the dwarves and avians continue fighting the skeletons.

The pair who attack the portal have, for a moment, a glimpse through it of a vast cavern with thousands more of the skeletons advancing towards the portal, and then the portal slams shut, and every reddish smeared skeleton on the battlefield explodes, driving shards of bone which corrode away into toxic sludge into everything within fifty feet of them.

"I see," she says sadly. "I hadn't realized."

She continues to fire her bow, but prepares to move once the second strike has finished.

A squad of celestial eagles circles and dive-bombs one of the dracoliches.

Meepo glares.

"Not bad. I'm about you hit you with positive energy, so you just tell me when it hurts, 'kay?"
The bullets turn to pure positive energy as Meepo fires. They will not harm Beren, simply looping around to hit Hangman again if they miss or go through him.

HT does manage a smile

We have wards against that type of thing too, fool.

Vines erupt around MUM, and attempt to entangle him. The thorns upon the vines lengthen, as if drawn to his blood.

Djuhah continues to pour healing magic into Spring Sapling, starting to panic a little.
"The Star Song asked me to look out for you. I don't seem to be doing a very good job. My apologies, lady."

My exit from the Realm of Dreams with my army was not entirely unremarked upon... there were some personages quite bitter about the manner in which I absconded with my army after receiving a hefty bribe to do so from some of their enemies. The fact that they had neglected to pay me on time for the third century in a row was something which they didn't seem to consider mattered.
I'm looking to establish a stronghold somewhere in these parts, where I can watch my back against any assassins or other agents that are sent after me from the Realms of Dream.
If you can recommend any places in these parts where we might set up, and could assist us in clearing out any current occupants that would be useful.
And if you have any particular enemies you'd like us to harrass for the next month or so, we would certainly be happy to do so.

As JH approaches the kobold shaman, the shaman disappears. He reappears next to Jay Frogskin, and asks 'Join us?'.

"The Palace of Skulls may be suitable. If not, then try the old stronghold of these villains."

The invisible stalkers decide to center their attentions on those few still living foes, stalking the carnies with delight.

A sleek black mole with a fiendish look to its eyes suddenly pops up out of the ground, a dagger clenched between it's teeth.
The woman bends down and retrieves the blade.

Oh look, it's the knife which that harlequin dropped....

"So do I. Her name's 'Esmerelda'." Meepo grins as Esmerelda appears.

"I hate it when you summon me like--ah."
She glares at the Hangman's Tree and sends forth a mighty blast of positive energy at him. It is incredibly strong, and gets past his wards with some difficulty.

And who would you be interested in having harrassed?

A moan of dismay goes up from the Army of Life as the great bear general Beren falls to the Hangman Tree

Prince Azran wrote:

"I would appreciate it if you would aid the fight against Innocent Blood and her armies. No others, please. Also, why don't you just send all your spells at your soldiers first? It would make more sense, making them practically invulnerable. If what you say is true."

Ohh, very wily, but sadly I learned long ago, from hard experience, that magic is best preserved to protect oneself and one's lady-love, first and foremost, ahead of helping others.
Soldiers can generally be replaced.
Scars, upto a certain point, can be attractive, but beyond that they only reduce one's natural charms and handsome appearance.

The blast partially pushes thru the wards on HT, and his braches and vines sizzle as if they were aflame.

As he screams in pain, spores shoot from his mouth to MUM and Esmeralda.

He can join us too. He will never be weak again.

Spring Sapling falls to the trampled earth. Her elk mount nuzzles her prostrate form

Turns towards the battle btwn IB and the Army of Life. He spots the Tsar and heads across the field.

Examining the dagger.
Somebody seems to have been screwing around with fate.
This dagger's currently supposed to be in the heart of someone called Lynora-Jill.

Esmerelda, with some difficulty, blocks the attack. A bit hits her, but she manages to protect Meepo. She sends forth another blast of positive energy, mixed with some force to damage the barrier.

E7 pauses in his approach, just before reaching his target.

Aaaaahhh!

Kobold Cleaver nods.

"Might I send it there?"

Harlequins have a habit of messing around with things like destinies, dear. They have a limited writ to do so.

Innocent Blood flies above the fray, ocassionally loosing a green bolt upon the Army of Life. Animal's broken bodies are thrown about, liquefying almost immediately into rancid ooze from the tainted green energy.

Oh you can keep it as a souvenir. It might be too late to put it where it was supposed to end up though. What the capering man did might have completely changed that fate by now.
I hope you have a telekinesis in your array.
She flips the knife in the general direction of Kobold Cleaver.

Bear in mind, her power over Board Essence has been greatly weakened, as Plantjack actually nearly severed her ties to the Board completely. She managed to destroy it before it finished the job, but she barely has any power over Board Essence left.
