Augh...
Suddenly, the wasp straightens. He glares at Candle Lighter, and he charges Candle Lighter with the Cleaver.
KILL DA WABBIT!!!
He slashes, and though he is bad with the weapon, Candle Lighter is badly hurt.

GAA! That is ENOUGH!!!
The dragon glares, and starts to muster a particularly deadly blow.
Anyone feel like helping out? Hint, hint. ;)

It would seem you did need my help, little one..
*turns to the lich*
It seems we meet again. Will the outcome be the same?

I think not. For I am much stronger than before, especially with the Book.

The dracolich blasts the Bard with a mixture of eldritch energy and flame.

We really have to stop meeting like this, people are starting to talk...
*light enshrouds him again, but this time it is all shades of blue*
Well this is new...

Flying in, in answer to the Wasp's call, the priestess sees the dracolich about to blast the bard and the wasp with flame. She quickly summons a shield of winds around them.

So, you like colors...color warp!
Assuming that the colors don't react or ignore it, the colors explode, dealing teh Bard lots of damage.
Aaand I gotta go. Sorry. I'll be back in a little while. Try not to kill/defeat Candle Lighter without me. TBC?

*suddenly the bard begins to chant in a strange voice*

Powers of water ages deep, I call you forth, defend me from this creep I know, but is was the best I could think of right now!
*The light enshrouding him turns into a water, and his eyes glow with a strange blue light*
"Fire can not harm me foolish lich."

The immense black animate armor suit raises his buzzsaw hands

MASTER ... I ... STAND ... READY ... TO ... DO ... THY ... BIDDING

I am in an out today doing housework. Will pop in here and there ..

Kill them all. Take the Wasp captive, but only if you're able to. If you are badly wounded, grab the Wasp (and the Cleaver)and get out of here.

The dracolich flies off.
My last post for a while. Assume that the Wasp will be captured if the Tsar tries. Bye!

Okay, I'm still here.

Magic Steel doesn't rust. Especially if he's stainless.
Just saying.

And if magic water were applied? Just saying

It's still stainless. Magic water could rust magic metal, maybe, if the magics were equal, but not magic STAINLESS metal. |:)

The priestess's eyes widen as she sees The Bard call forth water. Perhaps here was the Champion of the Sea. And he was not in any way affiliated with the Jacks, so he had a chance at fighting against the Champion of Flame.

Wasp! I'm going to send you somewhere else! I think that's safer!

Uses the power of the winds to try to blow the wasp back to the Place of the Winds.

You have a point... But i could still peirce the arm and destroy his mechanized insides, correct?

Well no one else seemed to want to the Sea's Champion, and since Candle's fire didn't hurt me earlier, I thought "Why the heck not?"

The Bard wrote:

A sound like old brake pads slamming together at high speed echoes from the Steel Tsar

YOU ... CANNOT ... STAND ... BEFORE .. ME ... FOOL

The animate armor suit raises his buzzsaw hands and clashes them together in a grinding squeal of metal. His eyes flame red.

Prolly halt it there, until laters ..

It's cool. It works. And it keeps things nicely balanced. No two champions played by the same person and all that.

Hey it was a perfect fit ..just as if we planned it! :)

Yeah I'll be able to post a lot more around 4 'o clock(it's currently 10:36 for me)

*JRHM arrives on the scene with his vorpal sword* *stares menacingly at the Tsar*

Let me know when you're ready Patrick

Yeah I got some painting and carpentry on hold ATM ... I'll be on more in a few hrs.

Jack's Right Hand Man wrote:

Same here.

I have some housework and a grocery trip that's been put off for a few days this afternoon myself, so I'll be out until later. Feel free to get started again without me, though. I'm mostly observing and casting wards on those attacked by the Steel Tsar.

The Eighth Runelord takes advantage of the time stop to swap the Cleaver for an imitation one warded with powerful magics to provide a convincing fake, and removes himself and the [real] Cleaver from the thread. At some point the genuine Kobold Cleaver will require his sword back - it is a fixed point in all the futures - but until then the Runelords might as well keep it safe.

The Eighth Runelord departs, leaving the heroes to fight over the imitation weapon. It is likely that they will not be able to determine the imitation, since it will require Kobold Cleaver himself or a Runelord to determine the duplicate nature - or at least unless someone tries to sunder a powerful artifact with it.

The animate armored terror advances on the Bard and the Jack-Jills

YOU ... WILL ... ALL ... DIE

sheets of star-hot flame gout from his stomach cannon

Warriors ..come out and plaaaaaaay! :)

The priestess calls upon the powers of Wind to form a shield against the fire of this steel monstrosity.

The howling winds strike the Steel Tsar, slowing its progress, but never quite stopping it

WIND ... SHALL ... NOT ... STOP ... ME

The metal abomination grates in his booming tone

I can't hold it! the priestess calls out, distressed.

I'm going to go get more help! Try to hang on for a few minutes while I'm gone.

With that she flies away as fast as her wings can carry her.

Two metal forms pop up from behind a rock. One sports dual mini guns, the other an M16A2 with a M203 Grenade launcher slung under its barrel.

Maybe not wind ...How's about lead suckah?

Acme and Malice open up on the Tsar

Thank you Lynora, for holding as long as you did.
*turns to the Tsar, raising his hand. A surge of water shoots toward the Tsar, freezing to andamantine hardness before reaching it and piercing his armor*
"What are your flames to the power of the Sea? You should have heeded my warning and left while you had the chance!
*The Winds starts to howl as a truely huge amount of water starts to swirl around The Bard*
"The time to end this is NOW!"
*The Bard shouts out in nearly uncontrolled rage as he slams the Tsar with a tsunami's worth of Water and Ice*

You were immune to my gun, let's see how well you handle my sword. *takes his vorpal sword and slashes the Tsar*

The rain of bullets and grenades rip into the Tsar, staggering him before the Bard unleashes a tsunami of ice and water upon his bulk. Huge rents form in his armor, but the massive construct begins to glow red-hot, flashing the ice into white-hot steam as it touches him. The armored behemoth roars:

FOOL! ... NONE ... CAN ... STAND ... AGAINST ... FIRE!

The Tsar's hand buzzsaws whine and chuckle as he cleaves the unmelted ice aside

The Tsar's left buzzsaw catches JRHM's vorpal sword, the circular blade ripping to shreds from the keen magical blade

RAUUUUUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He sweeps his right buzzsaw across JRHM's midsection

The priestess flies back in, surveying the scene, and preparing to cast either protection or healing spells as needed.

The Steel Tsar wrote:

RAUUUUUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She screams. Quickly she swoops down and casts repair critical wounds on JRHM.

Seeing the Thieving Wasp with the Cleaver, the Tsar ignites his rocket and flies at the diminutive insect. Swatting the insect with his ruined buzzsaw, he shoots a strange ray from is flaming eyes, holding the wasp fast. He shoots quickly away.

HAHAHAHA!!!! I ... HAVE ... THE ... CLEAVER!

Thanks for the help Lynora!

EAT 5.56 MM DEATH FREAK!

Malice Jack sets his M16 on full auto.

GET HIM ACME!

Acme tranforms into a jet glider. Malice grabs one handle and yells to the others

QUICK HE'S GETTING AWAY!

Motions for the others to grab on to Acme

The Champion of Wind flies after the Steel Tsar and slashes him with JRHM's vorpal blade. It strikes true despite her inexperience. The behemoth roars and accelerates

YOUR ... ELEMENT ... HAS ... LOST ... AND ... MY ...MASTER ...REIGNS ... SUPREME!

The non-winged members of the group jet after Lynora-Jill, gripping Acme's transformed frame and firing potshots as they go, trying hard not to strike the winged priestess

"You won't get away so easily foolish Tsar."
*flinging up his hand, a stream of water latches to the Tsar's leg and slams him to the ground. Water then flows around The Bard, raising him into the air so he may continue his attack on the Tsar*

Okay, my post went bye-bye. Anyhoo, Lynora-Jill picked up the vorpal sword and attacked the robot even though she thought this was a really bad idea. And at this pace are we really surprised at the occasional technical difficulties? :)

Huh ..I saw that post too, and wrote based on it ...freaky..

The pseudopod of coherent water latches onto the Steel Tsar, slamming him to the ground

BRAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!

The Tsar opens up with his fusion flame cannon, flashing a huge cloud of steam around him

YOU ... WILL ... PAY ... FOR ... YOUR ... INSOLENCE!

The priestess directs the winds to form a bubble around the Steel Tsar, trapping the steam close to him where it wouldn't damage anyone else.

A buzzing swells in the sky. The ground darkens as a huge host of horse-sized wasps descend out of the sky. Atop the lead wasp, in a very fetching chainmail bikini and sporting a bandoleer of glowing daggers and a large oiled whip is Alaina.

HEY! LET THE WASP GO UGLY!

lynora-Jill wrote:

Lynora, I need my sword. With my strength I might be able to cleave him in half!

The Tsar, trapped in the steam bubble, fades from view. For the moment all is quiet on the battlefield
