Once again many thanks to all the contributors here! Especially the maps create great immersion and look fantastic.
I've a quick question: Am I right that B. Watford's maps of the Hookmountain clanhold are on the wrong 1 square = 5ftx5ft scale and that the map by GustavoMalek fix that problem for me?
Thanks in advance.
Ruyan.

the Lorax |

Yeah, it looks like Watford's map is drawn about the same as the map in HMM - where the scale is 1 square is 10'.
I didn't find that following them map precisely was that much of an issue or important, I just made stuff fit on the battlemat so that it felt BIG and was close to the layout in the module.

RuyanVe |

I'm not sure what you mean by "on the wrong 1 square = 5x5ft scale", but I'd go with the GustavoMalek maps. They're lower resolution (30px to the five foot square) but the design is much nicer and you get a single image with the full map in it.
Well, in AE the map scale says 1 sq = 10 ft., thus I believe to get the right dimensions, you would need to enlarge B. Watford's map by the factor of 2.
As I've printed them my plan was to reveal them room by room to the players and I was concerned that the scale of the maps favors the PCs since they're medium sized but the giants get stuck/need to squeeze.
Thanks for your answers, Lorax and Tinalles.

RuyanVe, my map is in the correct scale and follows the exact pattern of the dungeon from the book.
If you want to print, here is a bigger version with grid (1 square = 5ftx5ft):

Hi Runelords Risen. I am working my party through Burnt Offerings and your work could not have shown up at a better time! I had pieces of the face deck cards you referenced strewn about but your compilation+ means I can introduce more of Sandpoint to my party at any point and more efficiently. Thank you so very much for sharing this. It is now hung as a reference for me on my GM Screen as my PCs move about Sandpoint.

Glad you like it. Let me know if you discover any inconsistencies.

Hey GMs!
I've updated the Sandpoint NPC map I shared recently. Check it out!
Design Goals:
• Show all Sandpoint NPCs on the map in the locations they are most likely to be found.
• Put a face to the name (using cannon sources when possible)
• Color coding of Race/Ethnicity.
• Super Hi-Rez for poster printing (5783 × 7595).
• Will print at 8.5 x 11 and be mostly readable.

I'm working on building some of the more popular buildings in Sandpoint in The Sims 3 to give my players a cool visual aid. (And because I'm hooked on Sims atm.) I know I'm going to build The Rusty Dragon and the Sandpoint Cathedral. Any ideas/requests for any of the other locations? I was considering the Glassworks, if I can figure out how to do the glass ovens.

Joey Virtue |

Sorry to break the trend on awesome maps, but I'm finally getting around to posting the haunts for Foxglove Manor I'd written up for my game. Enjoy!
The way I intended this to play out is that, after the haunt activates, the PC is given the handout, and reads through it. They then make whatever roll the handout requires, and if they are affected by it, it tells them what will happen next. The intent is to give that PC the opportunity to experience a part of the story for themselves, and then tell the story to the rest of the party - much the way I figure it would play out if this were a movie.

I have a question your worried wife and dance of ruin write ups are the same did you ever repost the Dance of Ruin?

Thanks everyone for the absolutely superb work in this thread!
Its really helpful to not have to do everything myself and be able to concentrate on preparing the session and campaign itself instead of building maps for ages :D
Does anyone still have the map for the Desecrated Vault(Burnt Offerings) it seems offline.

By the way Hythlodeus, you may want to take a look at the maps in there for the Stone Giant Attack. I was particularly proud of the one I made for Scarnetti Manor (blatant bragging I know...), but some of the others I made were not my best work. I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Ah, sorry, I didn't see them. They all look great. If I don't find the time to do all of the maps, for those areas I don't have a chance to do myself, I'll definatley use yours.
Anyway here is the finished version of Scarnetti Manor since I didn't like how my first version looked.
I was working on the Sandpoint Garrison today, based on a blown up version of the Sanpoint map. I'm not exactly happy how that turned out either, but I have only a week left until I *might* have to use them and a lot of maps to make until then. So this will be it, I guess.

These are great! Super useful and really well done. Players are just starting RotR, (some have done it before, but whatever) and session 0 went swimmingly.
Hey, If i wanted to print these maps, (particularly the GlassWorks one) how big would I need to make the paper to get the 1-inch-square grid that the players could put their pawns on?

Hey, If i wanted to print these maps, (particularly the GlassWorks one) how big would I need to make the paper to get the 1-inch-square grid that the players could put their pawns on?
I like to use a program called Big Print, which you can get here: https://woodgears.ca/bigprint/
It's meant for woodworkers who want to print full-scale templates to affix to boards for cutting, but it's amazingly useful for printing big maps. Most of the maps I've found in this thread are already to right scale if you just print them with Big Print, but it also allows you to adjust the scale with great accuracy.
It costs $22, but it's well-worth it to me. I use it every week. I have some transparent plastic grid sheets. So I print the maps on however many pages they take, cut off the margins with a paper cutter, assemble and tape them, and then keep them in a stack. When needed, I grab the fullsize map I need, throw it on the table and cover it with a grid sheet, and I'm ready to go.

Plastic grid sheets?
From ArcKnight. They're amazing. Their online shop is terrible at showing how great they are, so first I'll point you to their Kickstarter where they have great videos and lots of details: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1534484023/clear-map-grids
Once you've looked at that and begun to realize that nobody could ever possibly live without this thing that nobody's ever heard of, here's the store where you can find them for sale now: http://arcknight.squarespace.com/shop
Enjoy. :)

Not strictly speaking part of the Runelords campaign, but I created this to add spice to my players experience of Magnimar towards the end of Book 2 of Runelords. It's in a village I created just south of Magmimar.
I had my players visit it with a few Magnimar nobles to talk politics, intrigue and unpick the mystery of the killings within the city. But mostly it was to add some colour, have fun with role play and give my players the feeling that they were moving up in the world, getting to dine at a very fancy restaurant. You could use it for a fun dinner with Ironbriar as he tries to suss them out, or other selected nobles from the Magnimar, City of Monuments guide by Paizo (which I highly recommend).
FYI it's closely based on the real world restaurant The Fat Duck in the UK.

If it was 'every NPC in Sandpoint' there's several I've seen. This is the one I did. I've not seen 'every NPC' for the whole campaign done by anyone, that would be a beast.

I made a Wheel o the Year to help my players understand the passage of time and the seasons, so they could interact more with the Golarion calendar and its meaning in the setting.
I thought it would be interesting to share it with the community.
Absalom Reckoning - Wheel of the Year (Versions in English and Portuguese)

Bellona |

That looks nice! :)
I ended up just using the English month names, and saying that Golarion's special names for them was just from an older language.
By the way, if I ever run it again (I currently have two different groups going through it), I plan on having the festival/goblin attack be sometime during the summer. That allows for more down-time between Books 1, 2, and 3 for those groups who need more role-playing immersion in Sandpoint, Magnimar, etc., yet allows for Book 2 to happen in the autumn (for suitably creepy surroundings) and Book 3 during late autumn/winter (for suitably cold travel hazards to "train" the players to think more carefully when it comes to travel in Book 6 and parts of Book 5).
