GM, the rules as written allow for a character to uptrain their feats as they level up. IE, a feat obtained at 4th level could be trained to a different feat at 5th level that has a requirement of BaB 5. What do you say to me not taking a feat at 4th, since the feat I truly want, stunning irruption requires BaB 5 instead of spending time and money to uptrain something later? No is ok, but I'll just take weapon focus in that case which feels kind of sad.

Go ahead with that, Stunning irruption is hilarious and I want to see it in use.

Pretty sure you also get a feat at 5 of course.

You also get an ability score increase, but I dont think it will do much for you.

I expect Arrius to get a sizeable increase in durability on account of the masterwork fullplate, bracers of armor probably arent too bad either on one of our casty friends.

Occular implant: Currently dormant.

current bonus=+3 to perception.
Can be detached and still transmit information, allowing you to easily look under doors, around corners. You can see through it as if it was your own eye as long as it is within 30 feet fo you.

Defiance industries multitool: Currently dormant
Slot: Weapon
Current bonus: The current slotted in blowtorch function hits touch AC and does 1d6 fire damage in melee. Once per day, it can be extended do a 20 feet line which does 4d4 fire damage, succesfull reflex (DC is 10 + half class levels + mythic tiers + spell casting stat modifier).

Otherwise, come up with a guard schedule, tell me if you have any other security preparations, and essentially how fairly you treat the mercs lootwise. They are fairly impressed with you are deem you to be friendly.

This is a great place for resting, and you have done more in your first day then expected.

Note: Saphirre will find different implants which will compete for "power slots", perhaps she will also find a reactor.

Several of the upgrades are well, interesting. I will do a bit of an end run and not tell you in advance what exactly they do, so pick what you think is cool.

I will be adjusting powers if they end up too weak or too strong.

Auricals upgrade path is similar in nature, he can increase various abilities of his multi tool, which is unlockable by well, great devotion to Abadar! Its a bit more caster specific (offering some metamagic options, touch attack at range, a different spell known)

Yartak well, there will be a very funny reason why he is selected, (he actually need some nighteye to trigger it) essentially he is the most noodlearmed worshipper of Gorrum, which ironically means that Gorrum can project more power through him! He will get some "Waagh inspireed Orc Magic", some metamagic option and/or different spells known, and some things which are more for hilarity.

Sahala gets to use her book more offensively, and gets to basically yoink and entire extra archetype (white haired witch but charisma based).

Targis mutagens will add some funky class features from different classes.
Both Sahalas and Targis start is alas linked to finishing the first act and meeting someone. Targis could probably start it without the meeting, but given how effective he has been he may as well benefit from impressing someone.

Arrius gains an increased bond with his weapon, as well as a hopefully interesting series of moral choices, resulting in him gaining different abilities.
I may be revamping his a bit, as its the first one I designed and it thus offers less flexibility then the others.

Unfortunately, the kn. planes/kn religion check to understand the possiblesignificance for you is not possible for you even on a nat 20, although it would be a pretty easy one for one of your party members.

There is a very simply PR reason why the tool choose you, other then you conveniently being Abadarian.
The tool is a somewhat PR savy manifestation of the military industrial complex. You are a Kobold. If you kick ass using it, well, viewers will think "How much more ass could I kick with it because I am not a Kobold".

If you die well, "maybe its because it was used by a Kobold, the tech itself is solid yes?" is their PR fallback line.

It does indeed. Who could have possibly seen that coming!

It is currently:

morale +2 STR; + morale +2 CON; morale +2 to will saves; -1 to AC if you arent Yartak; Scent; You get a +7 attack dealing D4+5 sonic damage this would normally be rolled by Yartak, but the player gets to roll it instead.
Note: you cannot use spell casting or a number of skills while under its effect, and you accept it automatically if knocked unconcious, which can be clutch because it can sometimes turn ded into unconcious because that effective +4 hp.

Yes, normally spirit totem is negative energy, but I get to roleplay Gorrum and I say its sonic! Its spirit totem because its very loud manifestations of aggressive drunkenness and enthusiastic but not very good singing.

Askold I have written as a professional a&&*%#%, who had a bunch of zinging one liners prepared for when the PCs screw up while he does not. Think of the gunnery seargent in full metal jacket, or the enclave sergeant Dornan from fallout. While he woudl consider mouthing off to Arrius for slipping or Aurical for insanity, but well, Targis slice and dicing was pretty impressive.

Here are some item musings:

Ranseur of the gargoyle:
while only arrius (who I doubt is going to abandon radiance) and targis (it is a +1 pole arm) are proficient with it, even someone non proficient can use its swift action ability to get a +2 to ac 5 times per day.

Stagger proof boots:
Among the best boots in the game, CMD boni against trip are good, standing up without provoking is great, moving as an immidiate action is even better.

Horn of battle clarity:
Any caster with a high initiative may use it to unflatfoot the party if surprised. Its expensive, so selling it is totally a decent idea.
As it works best with ragers, the Orchestra may buy it at more then half price, or be incredibly happy if you hand it to them. They do pay their debts.

I am hoping to move things forward quickly (I know such things can stagger things, because loot dispension disputes are a thing, and not wanting to be the first to snag the desireable piece that everyone likely wants is also a thing).

As such, I will propose a loot distribution as a starting point:

Possible Loot distribution:

Saphirre:
--Mithral Chainshirt
--Ocular plot implant
--Potion of CMW
--+1 morning star (its a simple weapon so she can wield it. It is also a +1 weapon, and Saphirre otherwise has no magic weapon capability)
--invisibility potion

Arrius:
--masterwork full plate
--Masterwork glaive (backup reach weapon)
--potion of clw

Targis:
--Ranseur (backup reach weapon, is also a +1 weapon)
--potion of CMw

Aurical:
--Super duper multi tool
--+1 cloak of resistance

Yartak/Sahala
these people need very similar items, the +1 bracers of armor are better then nothing, the stagger proof boots are actually really good. Sahala can use her high init to unflatfoot the party ith the horn, but you may also hand it or sell it at more then half price to the Orchestra.

The plate armor is a slight improved version, altered by the Orchestra to rapidly adapt to constantly changing body sizes.

If I hand you stuff you can expect to be able to actually use it, most of the time.

THe loot from the minotaur is large, the stuff made for askold is actually medium sized, he only grows to large if he a) Bloodrages and b) thinks its tactically prudent to be big.

I don't think the Core rules (or any others I'm aware of) have a 'mechanic' for downsizing or upsizing equipment. Minor adjustments of the same size are all I can recall reading.

THere is some stuff from 3.5 which can be used, and will be made available once one of you rascals calls dibs of Aizerghaul or Riftcarver, but thats a fair bit in the future.

Mostly. I need to pick either Str or Cha for his stat bump. Since both are even it won't have an immediate effect either way.
I added in the Full Plate to his AC but it only raised it by 4 since the Dex bonus is restricted to -1. I need to add in the MW Glaive and the CLW potion to his items.

I forgot to update my skills, but doing that now. Aurical will be completely leveled.

Also, we can more or less assume the party is back to full health. Aurical had most of his healing available to him during the rest, and he has a rather large pool with channel/LOH/spells.
